This paper describes a multiple audio watermarking using Quantization Index Modulation (QIM) on frequency phase and magnitude response. Proposed embedding procedure is composed of two stage. At the first stage, the watermark is embedded on the frequency phase response using QIM. In the second stage, the watermark is embedded using adaptive QIM with the step-size that is adaptively determined using the maximum value of the frequency magnitude response of every frame. The watermark is extracted by calculating the Euclidean distance as the blind detection. The proposed method is robust against most of attacks of audio watermark benchmarking. For the Fourier attacks, the proposed method shows over 95% recovery rate.
This paper presents an underwater acoustic communication with nonlinear chirp modulation. The information is carried by the carrier amplitude, frequency or phase in the most common underwater acoustic communications. However, the proposed method includes the information within frequency variation of carrier wave for a symbol. Especially, as carrier wave the hyperbolic frequency modulated signal, one of the nonlinear chirp signal, is used and it is robust in the Doppler channel. The proposed method was analyzed and compared to conventional method by simulation. When the doppler shift existed, the error probability of the proposed method is reduced by 5~12 % than conventional method with linear frequency modulated signal. Sea trial was performed to analyze the performance of the proposed method.
This paper describes an audio watermarking using Quantization Index Modulation (QIM) on significant peaks in frequency domain. The audio signal is broken up into L samples length frames with non-overlapping and rectangular window. The zero-crossing rate of each frame is calculated for decision whether it is proper to be watermarked or not. If the frame is legitimate, frequency magnitude response is computed by discrete Fourier transform. For the QIM, we set the quantization step size based on maximum value of frequency magnitude response and select n significant peaks with w samples around them in frequency domain, totally $n{\times}(w+1)$ samples. Finally, watermark embedding is performed. Decoder extract watermarks based on Euclidean distance, that is a blind detection. The proposed method is robust against many attacks of watermark benchmark.
The problem that occurred in the design/fabrication/testing of the wideband transmitting power amplifier for an embedded active SONAR (Sound Navigation and Ranging) system operating underwater was analyzed and the solution of the problem was proposed in this paper. Wideband acoustic SONAR systems had been developed in order to improve the underwater detection performance. The underwater acoustic transmission system had been also developed to achieve the wideband SONAR system. In this paper, the wideband acoustic transmission signal was generated using a 2 Level sawtooth type Class D PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) which was not complicated to implement. When the sonar signals having two or more frequencies were simultaneously generated, parasitic frequencies were added to the original signals by integer multiples of the frequency difference of the original signal. To cope with this problem, we proposed a way to remove the parasitic frequency from the source signal through modeling and simulation of the implemented power amplifier and PWM control hardware using MATLAB and Simulink.

It is necessary for what just keep a living body balance be devoted to it being varied with acidity serious trouble, and constitution of a study person about the density (ph) change that an alkaline ion necessary for a living body is numerical to supply a human body with number alkali by PWM voltage control. Works in the water which included the calcium (Ca), kalium (K), magnesium (Mg), natrium (Na) back who is helpful for a human body, and there is Alkaline. It is done this alkaline electrolysis to ask in order to create a number, and minerals are gathered through isolated layer (isolated special layer) to a - electrode direction, and is created. of course, prominent derelicts gather, and the acidity capital is happened, and -ion of a chlorine (Cl), phosphorus(P), sulfur (S) back is usable unfavorably in water of different use to a + electrode direction. Microprocessor was used with a - pole and a + pole with a PWM(pulse width modulation) voltage in this electrolysis process, and four kinds of PWM voltages were implemented, and a voltage every ph density change tried to be considered. It is expected by getting exactly if number alkaline ion of ph density value necessary is done with setting value if PWM control is used thus.

The continuous active sonar technology is effective for detecting and tracking targets because of short target revisiting rate. Generalized Sinusoidal Frequency Modulation (GSFM) pulses suitable for continuous active sonar systems are known to be capable of obtaining high time-bandwidth product while maintaining the orthogonality between pulses. However, it is unknown how to calculate an appropriate length of time to correlate received GSFM pulses in the presence of a target with acceleration. In this paper, we propose a method to calculate the appropriate time length based on the correlation when matching the received signal in the continuous active sonar system using GSFM pulse. The proposed method calculates the correlation according to the acceleration of the target and calculates the signal processing length according to the correlation. It is shown that stable detection performance can be obtained when the signal processing length calculated by the proposed method through the level of the sidelobe is applied.
This study is a study on System On Chip (SOC) that implements virtual engine sound in electric vehicles without engines, and realizes vivid engine sound by combining Adaptive Difference PCM (ADPCM) method and frequency modulation method for satisfaction of driver's needs and safety of pedestrians. In addition, by proposing an electronic sound synthesis algorithm applying Musical Instrument Didital Interface (MIDI), an engine sound synthesis method and a constitutive model of an engine sound generation system are presented. In order to satisfy both drivers and pedestrians, this study uses Controller Area Network (CAN) communication to receive information such as Revolution Per Minute (RPM), vehicle speed, accelerator pedal depressed amount, torque, etc., transmitted according to the driver's driving habits, and then modulates the frequency according to the appropriate preset parameters We implemented an interaction algorithm that accurately reflects the intention of the system and driver by using interpolation for the system, ADPCM algorithm for reducing the amount of information, and MIDI format information for making engine sound easier.

Accurate ranging is one of the key factors in the test and evaluation process of underwater vehicles. In particular, when estimating range using Time of Arrival (ToA) values, signals such as Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM), a chirp signal, are highly applicable due to their correlated nature. However, in a Doppler shift environment with mobility, measurement errors may occur due to the range-Doppler coupling effect. In this paper, we propose a signal that compensates for the distance-Doppler coupling effect to reduce the measurement error of the arrival time value. The proposed signal is constructed by superimposing two types of LFM signals, and the range-Doppler coupling effect can be minimized. Through simulations, it is confirmed that the proposed signal is a way to compensate for the distance-Doppler coupling effect in the distance estimation of underwater mobile bodies, reducing the measurement error of the arrival time value.

The error rate eqations of digital modulated signals transmitted through the fading cdannel have been derived in the Gaussian/Impulsive noise environments Whing the derived equations for the error drobadillties of ASK, QAM, FSK, MSK, PSK, and DPSK signais, the error tate performance of digital modulation systems have been evaluated and represented in the graghes as parameters of carrier to \ulcornernoise power ratio (CNR) and fading figures The results show that in the fading environenet the error is occurred more frequently by gaussian noise in the deep fading Howerer in the shallow fading lmpulsive noise is more domiant than gaussian nosie in occurring the error
In this paper, a robust feature compensation method to deal with the environmental mismatch is proposed. The proposed method applies energy based weights according to the degree of speech presence to the Mean subtraction, Variance normalization, and ARMA filtering (MVA) processing. The weights are further smoothed by the moving average and maximum filters. The proposed feature compensation algorithm is evaluated on AURORA 2 task and distant talking experiment using the robot platform, and we obtain error rate reduction of 14.4 % and 44.9 % by using the proposed algorithm comparing with MVA processing on AURORA 2 task and distant talking experiment, respectively.
