As the Internet of Things (IoT) has gained significant prominence in our daily lives, most IoT devices rely on over-the-air technology to automatically update firmware or software remotely via the network connection to relieve the burden of manual updates by users. And preserving security for OTA interface is one of the main requirements to defend against potential threats. This paper presents a simulation of an attack scenario on the commoditized System-on-a-chip, ESP32 chip, utilized for drones during their OTA update process. We demonstrate three types of attacks, WiFi cracking, ARP spoofing, and TCP SYN flooding techniques and postpone the OTA update procedure on an ESP32 Drone. As in this scenario, unpatched IoT devices can be vulnerable to a variety of potential threats. Additionally, we review the chip to obtain traces of attacks from a forensics perspective and acquire memory forensic artifacts to indicate the SYN flooding attack.

Purpose: The purpose of present study was to retrospectively analyze the survival rate of implant placed after alveolar ridge preservation by initial stability and radiographic measurements. Materials and Methods: In total, 19 patients who received 21 sandblasted, large-grit, acid-etched (SLA) implants were enrolled in this retrospective study. Implants placed after alveolar ridge preservation technique (ARP) 2 - 3 months healing period, Periotest value (PTV) measured at implant placement and before placed prosthodontics. Marginal bone level (MBL) was measured at implant placement and final recall check. Results: Overall survival rate of implant was 100%. Mean PTV at implant placement was $-0.06{\pm}8.33$ and mean PTV before placed prosthodontics was $-5.75{\pm}1.7$. The range of MBL change was from -0.55 mm to 1.6 mm (Mean: $0.19{\pm}0.58mm$). Conclusion: The findings of present study suggest that the implant paced after alveolar ridge preservation appear high survival rates and stable MBL.
This study examines how much the radiation dose rate around it varies if a crack occurs on the spent nuclear fuel rod. The spent nuclear fuel rod to be examined is that of Kori unit 3&4. The source terms are evaluated using the ORIGEN-ARP that is part of the version 5.1 of the SCALE package. The radiation dose rate is assessed using the TORT. To check if the structure of a fuel rod is appropriately modeled in the TORT calculation, the calculation results by the TORT are compared with those by the ANISN for the same case. From the code simulation, it is known that if a crack occurs on the spent nuclear fuel rod, the neutron dose rate varies depending on what material is the crack filled with, but the gamma dose rate varies irrespective of type of the material that the crack is filled with.
During the rice storage at $28^{\cir}{\pm}1^{\cir}C$ and $60{\sim}70%$ R.H., the moisture content of rice, was increased max. 1. 6% by the activity of rice weevil. The growth of Asp. repens was not affected, while Asp. niger was inhibited after the appearance of its second generation adults. The development of rice weevil was generally accelerated by both of Asp. repens and Asp. niger, but decelerated at higher density of Asp. niger($1.6{\times}10^4$ propagules/g). The total number of rice weevil showed no significant difference during six weeks.
Measurement uncertainty analysis of fuel flow using turbine flowmeter was performed for the case of altitude engine test. SAE ARP4990 was used as the fuel flow calculation procedure, as well as the mathematical model for the measurement uncertainty assessment. The assessment was performed using Sensitivity Coefficient Method. 11 parameters involved in the calculation of the flow rate were considered. For the given equipment setup, the measurement uncertainty of fuel flow was assessed in the range of 1.19~1.86 % for high flow rate case, and 1.47~3.31 % for low flow rate case. Fluctuation in frequency signal from the flowmeter had the largest influence on the fuel flow measurement uncertainty for most cases. Fuel temperature measurement had the largest for the case of low temperature and low flow rate. Calibration of K-factor and the interpolation of the calibration data also had large influence, especially for the case of very low temperature. Reference temperature, at which the reference viscosity of the sample fuel was measured, had relatively small contribution, but it became larger when the operating fuel temperature was far from reference temperature. Measurement of reference density had small contribution on the flow rate uncertainty. Fuel pressure and atmospheric pressure measurement had virtually no contribution on the flow rate uncertainty.
Periodontal ligament(PDL) cells have been known as playing an important roles in periodontal regeneration and gingival fibroblasts are also important to periodontal regeneration by forming connective tissue attachment. There were rare studies about the gene expression patterns of PDL cells and gingival fibroblasts, therefore in this study, we tried cDNA microarray-based gene expression monitoring to explain the functional differences of PDL cells and gingival fibroblasts in vivo and to confirm the characteristics of PDL cells. Total RNA were extracted from PDL cells and gingival fibroblasts of same person and same passages, and mRNA were isolated from the total RNA using Oligotex mRNA midi kit(Qiagen) and then fluorescent cDNA probe were prepared. And microarray hybridization were performed. The gene expression patterns of PDL cells and gingival fibroblasts were quite different. About 400 genes were expressed more highly in the PDL cells than gingival fibroblasts and about 300 genes were more highly expressed in the gingival fibroblasts than PDL cells. Compared growth factor- and growth factor receptor-related gene expression patterns of PDL cells with gingival fibroblasts, IGF-2, IGF-2 associated protein, nerve growth factor, placental bone morphogenic protein, neuron-specific growth- associated protein, FGF receptor, EGF receptor-related gene and PDGF receptor were more highly expressed in the PDL cells than gingival fibroblasts. The results of collagen gene expression patterns showed that collagen type I, type III, type VI and type VII were more highly expressed in the PDL cells than gingival fibroblasts, and in the gingival fibroblasts collagen type V, XII were more highly expressed than PDL cells. The results of osteoblast-related gene expression patterns showed that osteoblast specific cysteine-rich protein were more highly expressed in the PDL cells than gingival fibroblasts. The results of cytoskeletal proteins gene expression patterns showed that a-smooth muscle actin, actin binding protein, smooth muscle myosin heavy chain homolog and myosin light chain were more highly expressed in the PDL cells than gingival fibrobalsts, and ${\beta}-actin$, actin-capping protein(${\beta}$ subunit), actin- related protein Arp3(ARP) and myosin class I(myh-1c) were more highly expressed in the gingival fibroblasts than PDL cells. Osteoprotegerin/osteoclastogenesis inhibitory factor(OPG/OCIF) was more highly expressed in the PDL cells than gingival fibroblasts. According to the results of this study, PDL cells and gingival fibroblasts were quite different gene expression patterns though they are the fibroblast which have similar shape. Therefore PDL cells & gingival fibroblasts are heterogeneous populations which represent distinct characteristics. If more studies about genes that were differently expressed in each PDL cells & gingival fibroblasts would be performed in the future, it would be expected that the characteristics of PDL cells would be more clear.
Cosmic-ray protons (CRp) are efficiently produced at starburst galaxies (SBGs), where the star formation rate (SFR) rate is high. In this talk, we present estimates of gamma-ray and neutrino emissions from nearby SBGs, M82, NGC253, and Arp220. Inside the starburst nucleus (SBN), CRp are accelerated at supernova remnant (SNR) shocks as well as at stellar wind (SW) termination shocks, and their transport is governed by the advection due to starburst-driven wind and diffusion mediated by turbulence. We here model the momentum distributions of SNR and SW-produced CRp with single or a double power-law forms. We also employ two different diffusion models, where CRp are resonantly scattered off large-scale turbulence in SBN or self-excited waves driven by CR streaming instability. We then calculate gamma-ray/neutrino fluxes. The observed gamma-ray fluxes by Fermi-LAT, Veritas, and H.E.S.S are well reproduced with double power-law distribution for SNR-produced CRp and the CRp diffusion by self-excited turbulence. The estimated neutrino fluxes are <~10-3 of the atmospheric neutrino flux in the energy range of Eneutrino <~100 GeV and <~10-1 of the IceCube point source sensitivity in the energy range of Eneutrino >~60 TeV.

This paper describes verification of APR1400 reactor vessel by applying the system engineering approach, in which the design re-engineering method is used to check the design parameters of APR1400 RV (reactor vessel). The RV is classified as safety class 1 and therefore must adhere strictly to the rules of ASME BPVC section III, subsection NB and seismic category I. This study explores designing the RV by following the ASME guidelines and making a comparative study with the current design. To meet this objective we apply system engineering methodologies to structure the process and allow for verification and validation of the major RV design parameters such as thickness of RV. The structural thicknesses of various part of RV are determined as well as reinforcements on the RV major nozzles. A 3D virtual reality model was created based on the design parameters using CATIA V5 and animation using Dassault Composer V2016. A comparison of re-engineered ARP1400 RV and standard APR1400 RV was done to show which design parameters were taken more conservative approach.
Because of high contents of cellulose (~37 wt%) and hemicellulose (~17%), rice straw seems to be a potential lignocellulosic biomass for production of bioethanol. In this study, Ammonia Recycled Percolation (ARP) pretreatment of rice straw was extensively investigated. In particular, the experimental study included the effects of temperature, reaction time and concentration of ammonia on compositions and enzymatic digestibility of the resulting solid residues; the ranges of pretreatment conditions were, in turn, $150{\sim}190^{\circ}C$, 10~90 min and 0~20 wt%. Through ARP pretreatment, the lignin content was reduced by as high as ~84% while 20~80% of the hemicellulose was also solubilized. The solid residue resulted from the pretreatment with 15 wt% aqueous ammonia solution at $170^{\circ}C$ for 90 mim showed as high as ~90% of digestibility with 15FPU/g of glucan enzyme loading. Supplement of xylanese to cellulase led to a notable enhancement of digestibility, indicating a discernable inhibitory role of hemicellulose. Simultaneous Saccharification and Fermentation (SSF) and Simultaneous Saccharification and Co-Fermentation (SSCF) were performed to obtain ethanol productions of 13.8 g/L (corresponding to 81% yield) and 15 g/L (corresponding to 89% yield), respectively.
Background: Protrusive structures formed by migrating and invading cells are termed lamellipodia, filopodia, invadopodia and podosomes. Lamellipodia and filopodia appear on the leading edges of migrating cells and function to command the direction of the migrating cells. Invadopodia and podosomes are special F-actin-rich matrix-degrading structures that arise on the ventral surface of the cell membrane. Invadopodia are found in a variety of carcinomatous cells including squamous cell carcinoma of head and neck region whereas podosomes are found in normal highly motile cells of mesenchymal and myelomonocytic lineage. Invadopodia-associated protein markers consisted of 129 proteins belonging to different functional classes including WASP, NWASP, cortactin, Src kinase, Arp 2/3 complex, MT1-MMP and F-actin. To date, our current understanding on the role(s) of these regulators of actin dynamics in tumors of the orofacial region indicates that upregulation of these proteins promotes invasion and metastasis in oral squamous cell carcinoma, is associated with poor/worst prognostic outcome in laryngeal cancers, contributes to the persistent growth and metastasis characteristics of salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma, is a significant predictor of increased cancer risk in oral mucosal premalignant lesions and enhances local invasiveness in jawbone ameloblastomas.
