  • Internet of Things Iranian people and things, things and things are connected through the Cloud. It can significantly save energy through a combination of LED lighting as a new ICT technologies and industry-to provide a human-centric, eco-friendly, and the content is embedded multifunction solutions that meet your needs, environment, implementation time according to user requirements, technology It can be systematized as converged next-generation lighting. In this paper, we have developed regarding whether the building in relation to the LED lighting control system using smart devices and Cloud-based user as a human connection through the board to the Arduino Yun lit LED lighting, wireless smart device or to the Cloud or off. After the Arduino Yun is connected to the Internet, taking the current date and time information from the Linux shell command used the way coming across the bridge (BRIDGE) its value.

  • These days, research has been made for a variety of internet of things (IoT) technologies over industrial fields. The current research trend includes the effective adoption of the IoT technologies. But, most IoT researches assume a relatively complicated structure, which consists of sensor devices, gateway, network server, and application server. Of course, the structure has distinct merits in the aspects of flexibility and expandability. However, the complicated structure causes the system implementation overhead including high-cost implementation, and hinders the practical usage of IoT in the industry areas, which require a small-size network. In this paper, we propose a novel IoT system architecture, which guarantees the small-size network and the low-cost implementation. Also, we implement the infrastructure, which includes the RF433-based sensor network, the ARDUINO-YUN based gateway, and the application server using Apache/PHP/MySQL (APM) package. Finally, we present the effective power management scheme among these components.

  • Recently, realistic contents using virtual reality and augmented reality are attracting attention as learning aids. 3D-based contents have the advantage of being able to observe and experience objects from various angles than 2D-based contents shown on a flat surface. In this paper, we propose a content design based on 3D model for Arduino learning in a virtual environment. The Arduino board and sensor were implemented using Blender, and a 3D-based simulator environment was constructed using the Unity engine. The proposed content uses the Arduino board and sensor implemented in 3D so that learners can easily experience the working principle of Arduino and the coding process.

  • 최근 IOT(Internet of Things)환경에서 위치기반 서비스를 제공하기 위해 실내 위치인식 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며 실내 위치인식 기술은 주로 WiFi, 블루투스, RFID 등으로 구현되고 있다. 본 논문은 Arduino를 이용해 WiFi 측정 및 통신이 가능한 Smart Watch를 제작하였다. 실내위치 측위를 위해 WiFi Fingerprinting기법 Radiomap을 구축한 다음 Arduino Smart Watch에서 측정한 AP신호 값을 Radiomap과 비교하여 실내위치 측정 및 데이터 수집하였다. 향후 수집된 다수의 사용자 데이터를 군집도 분석하거나 실내공간에서의 IOT(Internet of Things)분야에 활용 가능 할 것으로 예상된다.

The Effect of STEAM Program using Arduino on Preservice Science Teachers' STEAM Core Competencies (아두이노를 활용한 STEAM 프로그램이 예비 과학교사의 융합인재 핵심역량에 미치는 영향)

  • This study explores the effects of STEAM program using Arduino on preservice science teachers toward their STEAM core competencies. The STEAM program using Arduino consists of four stages: presentation of situation, creative design, emotional touch, and evaluation. The preservice science teachers learned the theoretical backgrounds of STEAM and Arduino. Then, they were given the chance to think about an environmental issue, which is fine dust. The preservice teachers designed an air cleaner and a fine dust measuring instrument using Arduino. The preservice science teachers also produced the air cleaner and the measuring instrument using Arduino. They measured the level of fine dust in the classroom before and after the use of the air cleaner. That is, the preservice teachers experienced each stage of STEAM: seriousness of fine dust, design and production of the measuring instrument of fine dust and air cleaner, and evaluation of the effectiveness of air cleaner. Further, they reflected on their experiences of STEAM program using Arduino. The results indicate that these preservice science teachers statistically improved communication competency, problem-solving competency, gathering information competency, logical analytical thinking competency, and creativity competency. However, there were no statistical improvements on teamwork competency and self-development competency. This study suggests that experiencing STEAM program using Arduino is valuable for the preservice science teachers to develop STEAM core competencies and further implement STEAM program their science classes in the future.

  • These days there have been trying to fuse the various of IoT (Internet of Things) technology over the industrial field. However the complicated IoT System structure comprised of sensor devices, gateway, network server, and application server causes the difficulties to the system implementation and the increment of installation cost, thereby preventing IoT system deployment in the industry fit for small size network environment. In this paper, authors propose a novel IoT system architecture that is useful in the industry field to be implemented by the small size network with low cost. Also, we implement the infrastructure to RF433 wireless sensor network, the gateway on ARDUINO YUN, and the application server using AMP (Apache, PHP, MySQL) package and then present a power efficient management scheme for sensor devices.

  • 2018년 NIST에서 AEAD 형태의 암호를 가진 경량 암호 표준화 공모를 진행하였다. 이후 2라운드를 통해 최종적으로 10개의 경량 암호가 남게 되었고, 이후 2023년 2월에 ASCON 암호가 NIST 경량 암호 표준으로 지정되었다. 경량 암호의 표준이 된 만큼, 기존에 사용되던 AEAD 암호와는 속도나 메모리 사용량 등, 저사양 기기에 특화된 차이점이 존재할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 저사양 기기의 환경에서, 기존 AEAD 암호에 해당하는 AES-GCM과 이번 표준으로 지정된 ASCON 암호를Arduino-Uno에서 직접 실행함으로써 성능 면에서 어떤 차이점이 있는지 보인다.

  • In recent years, bicycle craze has been blowing in Korea, and bicycle has become a means of transportation near. In addition, there is a lot of interest in the Internet of things, and recently there is a lot of interest in the Internet of things. However, despite the development of the bicycle market, the bicycle cradle does not have such a development, and it still has a drawback in that it requires a separate lock for the lock. In this regard, I would like to find some problems and solve them. In this paper, we have implemented a system that can control the location and use of the bicycle cradle in real time by communicating with the app and Arduino so that it can help the collection and retrieval of the bicycle which is the problem of the current bicycle cradle. n addition, we propose a method to establish a shared economic system based on Internet of things by providing shared services with acquaintances and others, and to improve user convenience by providing real - time services.

  • With the announcement of the revised curriculum in September, 2015, the informatics for a secondary school was designated as compulsory, and Physical Computing section was included. With a leading school, the educational research using Arduino is currently underway, but there remain the problems to be solved to utilize Arduino in the revised curriculum. This study developed educational board which can make it possible for secondary learners to lessen the cognitive burden of hardware, and to experience the process of creation when they learn Physical computing. The characteristics of the board are as follows: First, keeping compatibility with Arduino. Second, provision of the most essential functions for creation. Third, miniaturization. This study composed the board to make it easier for a secondary learner to create. and thinks that it's necessary to continue the research on board development for diverse learners, and class application on the basis of this research.

  • In this paper, we propose the Micturition training and Automatic feeding system to enable busy modern people can grow pets more efficiently. This system will be able to operate a smart phone application with a Bluetooth, furthermore, by using the Wifi access the Internet from anywhere and to operate remotely. This system is divided micturition board feeding unit. micturition board consists of a water pressure sensor for detecting micturition and recorder module, speaker for voice output, feeding unit consists of two servo motor for auto feeding and Bluetooth sensor for remote control. Both micturition board and feeding unit produced Arduino board and C language-based Arduino sketch program, feeding unit was able to communicate with the library to support Bluetooth communication.
