Some structural members of large-scale marine vessels such as large-scale offshore structures and very large container ships are assembled by very thick plates of which thickness exceeds 60mm. Also, high-tensile steels have been selected to meet the required structural strength and fatigue strength. Generally, multi-pass welding method such as FCA(Flux-Core Arc) welding has been used to join the thick plates. Considering the welding residual stresses, fatigue strength of the welded joints of thick plates should be assured since the residual stress influences the fatigue strength. This paper presents a numerical procedure to investigate the residual stress of structure joined by multi-pass FCA welding so that it can be incorporated into the fatigue strength assessment considering the effect of welding residual stress. The residual stress distribution is also measured by X-Ray diffraction method. The residual stress obtained by the computational model also has been compared with that of experiment. The results of FEA are in very good agreement with the experimental measurements.

According to common use of smart mobile devices, various services based on the location become to appear. Futhermore, as the number of social media users using the mobile devices grows rapidly, the needs for Social Media services based on location also increase. With proposing the method to access and analysis the location-based social media database by standard SNS API, this thesis introduces technical methods to generate and the information which users want to get and to service them by mobile in real time.

The sulfide stress corrosion cracking (SSCC) resistance of API X70 grade steel weldment has been studied using SSCC test in NACE TM-O177 method A. Also, microstructures and hardness distribution of weldment was investigated. The microstructure of SAW joint composed ferrite, pearlite and some MA constituent. Instead of hardening in CGHAZ, softening on the HAZ near base metal occurred. The low carbon TMCP type steel used for SAW showed softening behaviour in the HAZ adjacent to base metal, which was known to be closely related with the SOHIC (stress oriented hydrogen induced cracking). The SSC testing revealed that the API X70 SAW weld was suitable for sour service, satisfying the NACE requirements. By suppressing softening in the ICHAZ region, the SSCC resistance of low carbon TMCP steel welded joints could be more improved.

In this review, several new technologies considered when providing an open service environment in a mobile communication network are described. Recently, 3GPP developed some standards related to IoT services for opening a service platform in an SCS environment based on the OSA concept in a 3GPP LTE system. Similarly, the development of a new framework is underway to allow a plurality of services to commonly use an API environment in which a service provider or client accesses a 5G mobile communication system. Extending the existing LTE SCEF concept, the standardization of the northbound API is applied in the 5G CAPIF environment. Therefore, it is possible to construct a framework that facilitates access from outside, and takes advantage of the common management of various open service environments. An open service platform environment is expected to play an important role in transforming a network with simple connectivity services into a variety of new service markets, or into a service environment that can create added value.

This paper presents a fire and smoke animation system using stable fluid animation techniques. Stable and fast fluid simulation methods are developed in PC and console games, but fluid simulation and interactive fluid models still have many problems. We studied and implemented physics-based models for fluids like fire and smoke effects using mobile 3D system. The mobile platform of our system is WIPI, which are the standard mobile platform in Korea also we adopted NF3D API for our 3D programming API.

This paper describes the design and implementation of a PC(personal computer) based open architecture machine tool controller. The hardware of open architecture CNC has generally a motion control board on a PC for controlling a servo motor. But this paper describes open architecture hardware that consists of a PC, a counter board a DAC board and a DIO board only. This makes it easy to generate CNC software module in a hardware-independent way. The proposed open architecture CNC software runs on the MS-Windows NT. The paper describes a method of con-trolling servo motors using a real-time timer of MS-Windows NT and a commercial real-time operating system on the MS-Windows. NT. An open and reconfigurable software module is made up of an object and an API(application programming interface). Using the object and the API a new CNC system can be quickly configured to control dif-ferent machine tools. The proposed open architecture CNC system is applied to 4-axis lettering center.

이 논문은 현재 사용되고 있는 안드로이드기반 GUI 자동화 테스트 기법보다 발전되고 최적화된 캡처 리플레이(Capture Replay) 방법을 제안하고 이의 효율성을 증명하기 위한 것이다. 먼저 캡처 리플레이 기법 적용된 안드로이드 자동화 테스트 방법을 살펴보고 캡춰 단계에 기록된 스크립트를 통해 리플레이 단계에 테스트 케이스를 자동으로 생성하고 테스트를 실행하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 XML을 이용하여 주요 위젯기반 원소를 추출하기 위한 기술들을 정립하고 위젯기반 API 이벤트 처리 방법을 고안하였다. 제안한 방법으로 캡처 단계에 모니터링하여 클릭 이벤트가 일어나는 형태를 추적한 후 리플레이 단계에서 활성화 된 위젯을 API 이벤트와 상태를 교환하여 테스트 케이스를 생성한다.

In this paper, learning oriented puzzle game which based on combination of consonant and vowel of Korean alphabet is implemented. Firstly, consonants and vowels of Korean alphabet are classified separately, and then reconstructed a word in real time. Word combinator is utilized by API based edit window and, in order to effective retrieve, initial combined syllable consonant based method is involved. Implemented Korean puzzle game can be used for improving the words learning capability for children.

To apply easily the K-RBI program in domestic industries, an implemental procedure for K-RBI program was prepared. The K-RBI program had been developed, based on API-581 BRD. Therefore, through the usage of the developed K-RBI program and the implemental procedure, industries would have a benefit from reduced costs by modifying a frequency of an inspection efficiently. Also, the reliability of facilities would be maximized through improvement of an inspection method for facilities, considering its risk.

It became important to develop a wrapper for web information sources due to prevalence of information services through web information sources. We present a wrapper prototype that is a middleware to integrate web information sources. We present the derivation strategy of XML Schema from HTML documents and the query processing method based on XQJ. The usage example of wrapper API will show the usefulness of our prototype system.
