AI 어시스턴트 플랫폼의 한국어와 중국어 음악청취 요청문 패턴구축 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Building Korean & Chinese Music Request Sentence Patterns for AI Assistant Platforms)

  • 본 연구에서는 AI 어시스턴트의 음악청취 도메인 내 요청문을 인식 및 처리하기 위해 한국어와 중국어를 중심으로 도메인 사전 및 패턴문법 언어자원을 구축하고 그 결과를 비교분석 하였다. 이를 통해 향후 다국어 언어자원 구축의 접근 방법을 모색할 수 있으며, 궁극적으로 패턴 기반 문법으로 기술한 언어자원을 요청문 인식에 직접 활용하고 또한 주석코퍼스 생성을 통해 기계학습 성능 향상에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 본 연구에서는 우선 패턴문법의 구체적인 양상을 살펴보기에 앞서, 해당 도메인의 요청문 유형의 카테고리를 결정하는 과정을 거쳤다. 이를 기반으로 한국어와 중국어 요청문의 실현 양상과 패턴유형을 LGG 프레임으로 구조화한 후, 한국어와 중국어 패턴문법 간의 통사적, 형태적, 어휘적 차이점을 비교분석 하여 음악청취 도메인 요청문의 언어별 생성 구조 차이점을 관찰할 수 있었다. 구축한 패턴문법은 개체명을 변수(X)로 설정하는 경우, 한국어에서는 약 2,600,600개, 중국어에서는 약 11,195,600개의 표현을 인식할 수 있었다. 결과적으로 본 연구에서 제안한 언어자원의 언어별 차이에 대한 통찰을 통해 다국어 차원의 요청문 인식 자원과 기계학습 데이터로서의 효용을 확인하였다.

Computational Complexity Analysis of Cascade AOA Estimation Algorithm Based on FMCCA Antenna

  • In the next generation wireless communication system, the beamforming technique based on a massive antenna is one of core technologies for transmitting and receiving huge amounts of data, efficiently and accurately. For highly performed and highly reliable beamforming, it is required to accurately estimate the Angle of Arrival (AOA) for the desired signal incident to an antenna. Employing the massive antenna with a large number of elements, although the accuracy of the AOA estimation is enhanced, its computational complexity is dramatically increased so much that real-time communication is difficult. In order to improve this problem, AOA estimation algorithms based on the massive antenna with the low computational complexity have been actively studied. In this paper, we compute and analyze the computational complexity of the cascade AOA estimation algorithm based on the Flexible Massive Concentric Circular Array (FMCCA). In addition, its computational complexity is compared to conventional AOA estimation techniques such as the Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) algorithm with the high resolution and the Only Beamspace MUSIC (OBM) algorithm.

  • In satellite systems, efficient communication and observation require identifying of specific signal arrival points using onboard antenna systems. When utilizing massive array antennas to estimate the angle of arrival (AOA) of signals, traditional high-performance AOA estimation algorithms such as Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) encounter extremely high complexity due to the numerous individual antenna elements. Although, in order to improve this computational complexity problem, the cascade AOA estimation algorithm with CAPON and beamspace-MUSIC was recently proposed, the comparison of the computational complexity of the proposed algorithm across different massive array antenna configurations has not yet been conducted. In this paper, we provide the analyzed results of the computational complexity of the proposed cascade algorithm based on various massive array antennas, and determine an optimal antenna configuration for the efficient AOA estimation in satellite systems.

Meta's Metaverse Platform Design in the Pre-launch and Ignition Life Stage

  • We look at the initial stage of Meta (previous Facebook)'s new metaverse platform and investigate its platform design in pre-launch and ignition life stage. From the Rocket Model (RM)'s theoretical logic, the results reveal that Meta firstly focuses on investing in key content developers by acquiring virtual reality (VR), video, music content firms and offering production support platform of the augmented reality (AR) content, 'Spark AR' last three years (2019~2021) for attracting high-potential developers and users. In terms of three matching criteria, Meta develops an Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered translation software, partners with Microsoft (MS) for cloud computing and AI, and develops an AI platform for realistic avatar, MyoSuite. In 'connect' function, Meta curates the game concept submitted by game developers, welcomes other game and SNS based metaverse apps, and expands Horizon Worlds (HW) on VR devices to PCs and mobile devices. In 'transact' function, Meta offers 'HW Creator Funding' program for metaverse, launches the first commercialized Meta Avatar Store on Meta's conventional SNS and Messaging apps by inviting all fashion creators to design and sell clothing in this store. Mata also launches an initial test of non-fungible token (NFT) display on Instagram and expands it to Facebook in the US. Lastly, regarding optimization, especially in the face of recent data privacy issues that have adversely affected corporate key performance indicators (KPIs), Meta assures not to collect any new data and to make its privacy policy easier to understand and update its terms of service more user friendly.

  • Thanks to the competition of AlphaGo and Sedol Lee, machine learning has received world-wide attention and huge investments. The performance improvement of computing devices greatly contributed to big data processing and the development of neural networks. Artificial intelligence not only imitates human beings in many fields, but also seems to be better than human capabilities. Although humans' creation is still considered to be better and higher, several artificial intelligences continue to challenge human creativity. The quality of some creative outcomes by AI is as good as the real ones produced by human beings. Sometimes they are not distinguishable, because the neural network has the competence to learn the common features contained in big data and copy them. In order to confirm whether artificial intelligence can express the inherent characteristics of different arts, this paper proposes a new neural network model called Humming. It is an experimental model that combines vgg16, which extracts image features, and DeepJ's architecture, which excels in creating various genres of music. A dataset produced by our experiment shows meaningful and valid results. Different results, however, are produced when the amount of data is increased. The neural network produced a similar pattern of music even though it was a different classification of images, which was not what we were aiming for. However, these new attempts may have explicit significance as a starting point for feature transfer that will be further studied.

특허 데이터 기반 생성형 AI 기술 동향 분석 (Analysis of Generative AI Technology Trends Based on Patent Data)

  • 본 논문은 특허 출원 문서를 기초로 하여 생성형 AI 기술의 동향을 분석한다. 이를 위해 2003년부터 2023년까지 한국, 미국, 유럽에서 출원된 생성형 AI 관련 특허 5,433건을 선별하고, 국가별, 기술 분야별, 연도별, 출원인별 데이터를 분석하고 시각적으로 제시함으로써 시사점을 찾고 기술 흐름을 확인하고자 한다. 분석 결과, 이미지 분야의 특허가 36.9%로 가장 많고 지속적으로 출원 건수가 상승하고 있지만, 문장/문서나 음악/음성 분야는 2019년 이후로 출원이 감소하거나 유지되고 있다. 가장 많은 특허를 출원한 기업은 한국 기업이지만 상위 5개 출원인 중 4개가 미국 기업이며 모든 기업이 미국에 가장 많은 특허를 출원하고 있어 생성형 AI는 미국 시장을 중심으로 성장하고 경쟁하고 있음을 확인하였다. 논문의 분석 결과는 향후 생성형 AI 연구 개발과 지식 재산 확보 전략을 수립하는 데 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

에듀테인먼트 휴머노이드 로봇의 지능적인 율동 서비스 연구 (Research of intelligent rhythm service of edutainment humanoid robot)

  • 정보통신기술의 발달과 함께 학습자에게 재미와 흥미를 통한 즐거운 교육환경을 제공하고자 다양한 방법이 시도 되고 있다. 에듀테인먼트와 게임기반학습 등에서 게임이나 로봇과 같은 기술을 교육에 활용하는 것은 좋은 예이다. 본 연구에서는 휴머노이드 로봇의 율동 생성을 위한 사용자 데이터 수집과 분석을 통한 지능형 율동 교육 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 사용자는 음악을 선택하고, 선택한 음악에 따라 율동 정보를 입력한다. 이러한 사용자의 로봇 활용 데이터는 분석을 통하여 지능화된 서비스를 위한 패턴의 역할을 한다. 분석 결과는 빈도에 기반을 두며, 과거 정보가 부족한 경우 FFT 유사도 비교 방법을 적용하였다. 제안하는 방법은 유치원 아이들을 대상으로 하는 실험을 통하여 유효함을 확인하였다.

A Case Study on Kakao's Resilience: Based on Five Levers of Resilience Theory

  • The purpose of this study is to prove the Korean Internet company, Kakao's resilience capacity. For it, this paper reviews the previous literatures regarding Kakao's business models and discusses 'resilience' theory. Then, it organizes the research questions based on the theoretical background and explains the research methodology. It investigates the case of Kakao's business and organization. The case analysis shows that five levers of resilience are a good indicator for a successful platform business evolution. The five levers are composed of coordination, cooperation, clout, capability, and connection: First lever, coordination that makes the company to restructure its silo governance in order to respond to actual business flow starting from the basic asset like game and music content; second lever, cooperation where the firm provides creative people with playground for startups such as KakaoPage; third lever, clout where the company shares its data by opening its API of AI and chatbot to $3^{rd}$ party developers; fourth lever, capability where the firm establishes AI R&D center, KakaoBrain as the function of multi-domain generalist for developing diverse platforms tackling customer needs; and the last fifth lever, connection where the firm continues to expand its platform business to the peripheries, O2O businesses such as KakaoTaxi, KakaoOrder, KakaoPay, and KakaoBank. In conclusion, this study proposes Internet companies to be a resilient platform utilizing those five levers of resilience in order to form successful platform. This study contributes to the agile innovation of Internet platform with ecological sense.

Automated Detection Technique for Suspected Copyright Infringement Sites

  • With the advances in Information Technology (IT), users can download or stream copyrighted works, such as videos, music, and webtoons, at their convenience. Thus, the frequency of use of copyrighted works has increased. Consequently, the number of unauthorized copies and sharing of copyrighted works has also increased. Monitoring is being conducted on sites suspected of conducting copyright infringement activities to reduce copyright holders' damage due to unauthorized sharing of copyrighted works. However, suspected copyright infringement sites respond by changing their domains or blocking access requests. Although research has been conducted for improving the effectiveness of suspected copyright infringement site detection by defining suspected copyright infringement sites' response techniques as a lifecycle step, there is a paucity of studies on automation techniques for lifecycle detection. This has reduced the accuracy of lifecycle step detection on suspected copyright infringement sites, which change domains and lifecycle steps in a short period of time. Thus, in this paper, an automated detection technique for suspected copyright infringement sites is proposed for efficient detection and response to suspected copyright infringement sites. Using our proposed technique, the response to each lifecycle step can be effectively conducted by automatically detecting the lifecycle step.

IoT를 기반한 편의 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Convenience System Based on IoT)

  • 본 논문에서는 사람들의 안전하고, 편리한 생활을 위한 스마트 홈을 목표로 ESP32와 RFID, 라즈베리 파이를 이용한 구글 클라우드, 네오픽셀 등을 이용해 문이 열림과 동시에 사용자에게 문자 메시지 전송, 스마트 AI를 이용한 다양한 정보제공 및 일정관리, 네오픽셀을 이용하여 음악 감상 등의 상황에서 분위기에 맞는 조명의 밝기 및 분위기의 제공같이 직관적이고 일상생활에서 간편한 활용이 가능한 스마트 홈 시스템을 설계하였다. 실험결과 전원이 재 연결 되도 Wi-Fi와 연결된 ESP32에서 RFID가 인식될 때 보안문자가 정상적으로 사용자에게 전송되는 것을 확인하였고, 주파수를 계산한 네오픽셀의 조명 및 라즈베리파이와 음성인식을 이용한 스마트 AI또한 거리에 따라 인식률의 변화가 있지만 작동됨을 확인하였다.
