Developing Programming Education Software with Generative AI (생성형 인공지능을 활용한 프로그래밍 교육 소프트웨어 개발)

  • Artificial intelligence(AI) is spurring advancements in EdTech, the merger of technology and education. This includes the creation of effective learning materials and personalized student experiences. Our study focuses on developing a programming education software that employs state-of-the-art generative AI. Our software also includes prompts optimized for programming code analysis, which are based on the well-known ChatGPT API. Furthermore, the necessary functions for acquiring programming skills were created with a user interface and developed as a question-and-answer template function based on an AI chatbot. The objective of this study is to guide the development of educational programmes that make use of generative AI.

A School-tailored High School Integrated Science Q&A Chatbot with Sentence-BERT: Development and One-Year Usage Analysis (인공지능 문장 분류 모델 Sentence-BERT 기반 학교 맞춤형 고등학교 통합과학 질문-답변 챗봇 -개발 및 1년간 사용 분석-)

  • This study developed a chatbot for first-year high school students, employing open-source software and the Korean Sentence-BERT model for AI-powered document classification. The chatbot utilizes the Sentence-BERT model to find the six most similar Q&A pairs to a student's query and presents them in a carousel format. The initial dataset, built from online resources, was refined and expanded based on student feedback and usability throughout over the operational period. By the end of the 2023 academic year, the chatbot integrated a total of 30,819 datasets and recorded 3,457 student interactions. Analysis revealed students' inclination to use the chatbot when prompted by teachers during classes and primarily during self-study sessions after school, with an average of 2.1 to 2.2 inquiries per session, mostly via mobile phones. Text mining identified student input terms encompassing not only science-related queries but also aspects of school life such as assessment scope. Topic modeling using BERTopic, based on Sentence-BERT, categorized 88% of student questions into 35 topics, shedding light on common student interests. A year-end survey confirmed the efficacy of the carousel format and the chatbot's role in addressing curiosities beyond integrated science learning objectives. This study underscores the importance of developing chatbots tailored for student use in public education and highlights their educational potential through long-term usage analysis.

  • 학교상담은 학생들의 학업 및 심리적 건강을 촉진하는 핵심 구성 요소 중 하나로 자리 잡고 있으며, 코로나 19 로 인한 언택트 시대로의 전환은 비대면 상담 방식의 혁신을 촉발하였다. 본 연구는 AI 챗봇을 활용한 상담 서비스를 통해 학교상담의 효과를 높이고, 학생들의 학업 및 심리적 건강에 대한 지원을 강화하는 데 주력한다. 이러한 연구는 미래의 학교 상담 서비스 분야에 크게 이바지할 것으로 기대된다.

  • This study aims to develop a framework of structural scenarios for chatbot docent that supports visitors' activities in science centers and museums, and to suggest the application examples. For this study, the author adapted Focus Group Interview. As a result, the frameworks of scenarios could be categorized into the Collection of Science and Technology(CST) and Inquiry-Based Exhibition(IBE). These frameworks had dimensions of the primary and storytelling in common. Especially, framework of IBE scenario was added the usage dimension considering the characteristics of interaction between exhibits and visitors. This study could be basic materials for AI chatbot to support exhibition descriptions using the built data, and is expected to be help develop a more visitor-oriented scenarios of activities.

  • In contemporary society, the expression of emotions and self-reflection are considered pivotal factors with a positive impact on stress management and mental well-being, thereby highlighting the significance of journaling. However, traditional journaling methods have posed challenges for many individuals due to constraints in terms of time and space. Recent rapid advancements in chatbot and emotion analysis technologies have garnered significant attention as essential tools to address these issues. This paper introduces an artificial intelligence chatbot that integrates the GPT-3 model and emotion analysis technology, detailing the development process of a system that automatically generates journals based on users' chat data. Through this system, users can engage in journaling more conveniently and efficiently, fostering a deeper understanding of their emotions and promoting positive emotional experiences.

  • 인공지능 기술이 발달하면서 챗봇 플랫폼이 주목받고 있다. 챗봇이란 규칙 또는 인공지능(AI)을 이용해 사용자와 상호작용을 하는 대화형 인터페이스다. 챗봇에서 대화를 처리하는 방법은 규칙기반 대화 시스템, 검색기능 대화 시스템, 생성기반 대화 시스템이 있다. 본 논문에서는 규칙 기반 대화 시스템을 바탕으로 하는 모바일 영화 챗봇 서비스를 개발하였다. 이를 통하여 사용자는 더 편리하게 영화 관련 정보를 제공받을 수 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of project learning using chatbots on artificial intelligence literacy. The subjects of the study were a total of 41 students from 1st to 3rd grade of general high school in Gyeonggi-do. Classes were held after school for a total of 6 hours, and the contents of the classes consisted of the concept and characteristics of artificial intelligence, the concept and expression of knowledge, OBT application for Kakao i open builder, guidance on how to create chatbots, and chatbot production practice. As a result of the pre- and post-test of the experimental group, the quantitative value of artificial intelligence literacy increased in all three grades. In the case of second-year students who set up a comparison group, when compared with the results of the comparison group, there was a significant positive effect on the AI literacy result, and female students were found to be more effective than male students.

  • 본 논문에서는 Microsoft Bot Framework와 Microsoft Azure Service, LUIS AI를 활용하여 쇼핑몰 이용에 도움을 주는 쇼핑 챗봇을 설계하고 구현한다. 이 챗봇은 쇼핑몰을 이용하는 사용자들에게 대화형 인터페이스를 통한 편의성을 제공하고 접근성을 증가시킨다. 또한 직접 찾는 방식이 아닌 AI의 선택이 중심이 되어 검색 시간 감소로 인한 시간 절약 효과를 얻을 수 있다.

  • 본 학술지는 기존의 공공 행정서비스에서의 복잡한 업무처리를 간단하게 처리할 수 있는 FAQ 형태의 챗봇서비스를 제안한다. 본 논문이 제안하는 주요 특징은 다음과 같다. 버튼, 대화, STT(Speech To Text)를 통한 사용자 기반 UI/UX를 제공한다. 딥러닝을 통한 Synonym, Typo를 검출하여 가장 높은 정확도의 Entity로 변환해준다. 이를 통해, 사용자는 해상물류 서비스를 이용하는데 있어 부담감을 해소하고 편리함을 얻을 수 있다.
