Prioritization for Water Storage Increase of Agricultural Reservoir using FAHP Method (FAHP 기법에 의한 농업용저수지의 추가저수량 확보사업 우선순위 결정)

  • This paper presents the application of fuzzy set theory in multi criteria decision making (MCDM). FAHP (Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process) method was used to rank alternatives to find the most reasonable and efficient way of agricultural reservoir water resources assessment. 6 criteria and 10 subcriteria had been identified and compared to secure agricultural water resources. Fuzzy numbers and linguistic variables were presented to address inherently uncertain or imprecise data. Comparison analysis of decision making method was also carried out to find a way of suitable decision making and validity of FAHP was discussed.

항만 자동화 게이트시스템 구축을 위한 최적 기술 대안 선정에 관한 연구

  • 세계 항만환경은 초대형 컨테이너선의 등장이후, 허브 & 스포크(Hub & Spoke)의 형태로 급속히 변화하고 있다. 이에 해외 선진항만들은 중심항만으로서 자리매김하기 위해 자동화 컨테이너터미널을 구축하는 등 생산성 향상을 위한 노력을 하고 있으나, 국내의 경우 자동화 컨테이너터미널에 관한 연구, 그중 자동화 게이트시스템에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 자동화 게이트시스템을 구축 시, 최적 기술 대안을 선정하기 위해 국내 외 게이트 운영현황과 관련 기술들의 분석함으로써 자동화 게이트시스템 구축 시 필요한 기술을 도출하다. 그 결과를 컨테이너터미널 운영사의 기술 담당자들을 대상으로 현재 게이트시스템의 만족도와 문제점 그리고 향후 게이트시스템 구축 시 사용하고자 하는 기술과 기대효과를 찾고자 하였다. 하지만 1차 설문결과 내용만으로는 어떤 요소 기술이 사용자가 요구하는 기대효과를 만족시킬 수 있는 최적 기술 대안인지 제시하기 힘들었다. 이를 보완하기 위한 방법으로 정성적인 주관적 평가요소를 객관화하여 각 평가기준에서 나타나는 적용상의 한계를 해결할 수 있는 방법인 AHP 기법을 활용하였으며, 최종적으로 생산성 보안성, 경제성 3가지 평가 기준을 고려하여 최적 기술 대안을 선정한 결과 RFID가 최적의 기술대안으로 평가되었다.

Mobility and Safety Evaluation Methodology for the Locations of Hi-PASS Lanes Using a Microscopic Traffic Simulation Tool (미시교통시뮬레이션모형을 이용한 하이패스 차로 위치별 이동성 및 안전성 평가방법 연구)

  • The number of Hi-Pass lanes became 793 lanes at 316 expressway tollgates in 2011 due to the increase in the Hi-Pass use. In spite of the increase in the number of Hi-Pass lanes, there have been increased potential risks in tollgates where vehicles using a Hi-Pass lane must weave with other vehicles using a TCS lane. Therefore, there is a need for study on the safety in tollgates. To this end, this study aims at developing a methodology to evaluate the performance measures of diverse location countermeasures of Hi-Pass lanes in an efficient and systematic way. This study measured the mobility, safety and the convenience of installation and operation of Hi-Pass lanes using a microscopic traffic simulation tool, the surrogate safety assessment model and survey. In addition, this study aggregated the above three performance indexes using weight factors estimated using the AHP technique. For the test site, Dongsuwon interchange was selected. After building the microscopic traffic simulation model for the test site, the location countermeasures of Hi-Pass lanes applicable to the test site were compared with each other in terms of the mobility, safety and installing and operating convenience. As a result, there has been no apparent difference in mobility index based on delays. However, the countermeasures where Hi-Pass lanes are located in inside lanes generally showed better safety performance based on the number of conflicts. In addition, countermeasures with neighboring Hi-Pass lanes were favorable in terms of the safety and the convenience of installation and operation. The methodology proposed in this study was found to be useful to support decision makings by providing critical and quantitative information regarding the mobility, safety and the convenience of installation and operation.

  • Rapidly increasing automobile supply rate according to improved economic level of life makes lack of parking space of apartments. Even though the initial design of parking space compiled with old regulations, it may not observe either new laws or requirement of inhabitants. Even if old apartments have no structural durability problem, outworn facilities and insufficient parking area may be a main reason for reconstruction. It causes waste of national resources and makes recycling issues. Additionally, irregularly parked cars make traffic obstruction to a fire engine and result in many fire accident victims. Parking problems of apartments are not only inconvenience but also serious safety issues. From these points of view, remodeling only for parking area expansion is necessary to avoid overall reconstruction of apartments. The purpose of this study is to suggest a retaining wall selection method for apartments underground parking lots expansion without evacuation of resident people. Effect factors to select retaining wall system are analyzed and weight values are calculated by applying AHP. One selection method of retaining wall is proposed by evaluating applicability and its sensitivity analysis is executed. This selection method is expected to help decision-making of retaining wall system selection.

Priority Decision of Small Hydropower Development using Spatial Multi-Criteria Decision Making (공간 다기준의사결정을 활용한 소수력 개발의 우선순위 결정)

  • Recently, it is expected that small hydropower (SHP) could potentially provide sufficient amounts of alternative energy in Korea where there is an abundance of potential sites and where social efforts are being made to reduce the emissions of green house gases. In the past, the resources survey for SHP development has been carried out using onsite surveys and paper maps, which incurred a great deal of time and cost. Furthermore, the tools for decision making such as determining development priorities or evaluating feasibility have been considered only economic aspect and focused on the performance characteristics of power generation. However, as the concept of sustainable development has been being advanced in recent years, especially focused on human-social, environmental and ecological in addition to economical sector; the consideration of these multiple criteria has become essential for sustainable SHP development. This study aims to propose the spatial multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) methodology for determining priorities among a number of locations on the planning stage of SHP development using AHP and GIS. The proposed methodology is applied for determining development priorities among the SHP locations in Cho River basin and this study presents the detailed spatial information data and the results of development priorities. As a fundamental work, this study will be beneficial to the future activation of SHP development and will help the decision making in evaluating the feasibility of SHP development.

A Study on the Indicator Development for the Target Technology Selection of Technology Assessment (기술영향평가 대상기술 선정 지표 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The social impact of science and technology is increasing, the meaning of technology assessment is not small in modern society, Specially, the technology assesment(TA) has been institutionalized and performed by Korean administration and its official results has reflected directly in the S&T policy. Therefore, the technology assesment is a device that prepare the negative effects of S&T and the social controversy in advance. To select the target technology of technology assessment will be done carefully in various perspective and concerned with the characteristics of technology assessment emphasizing social assessment, the institutional system of selecting one technology in each year and the contents and methods of evaluation that are determined in accordance with technology characteristics. However, the method of selecting target technology in TA is mostly peformed by qualitative discussion and vote rather than by reflecting various opinion and understanding TA until now. In this paper, we developed the indicator has to be considered to select target technology for TA by using factor analysis. Developed indicator is consist of five factor, such as the need for social consensus and the size of social/cultural impact etc., and we weight each factor by using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). Futhermore, we show the example how to applicate directly these indicator and weights to select target technology and suggest institutional application in TA. Though using developed indicator in this paper, we expect to select appropriate technology for institutional TA and the application of TA results in society and public policy can be strengthened.

  • 연안관리 정책을 결정하기 위해서는 다양한 정보의 수집과 이를 체계적으로 관리하고 분석할 수 있는 기법이 필요하다. 특히, 다양한 이해집단과 목적들이 상충하는 지역의 특성을 파악하기 위해서는 환경, 사회, 경제적인 기준 및 의사결정자의 가치체계가 반영될 수 있어야 하며, 선호도가 반영된 요소를 효율적으로 분석할 수 있어야 한다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 공간자료의 처리 및 분석이 용이한 GIS 환경에 다기준 분석법, 그 중에서도 AHP 모형을 결합하는 방법을 다루어 보았다. 분석과정을 살펴보면, 본 연구에서는 지역에 영향을 미치는 사회ㆍ경제적인 지표, 환경 지표를 정하였고, 이런 지표들의 데이터를 GIS라는 도구를 통하여 분석이 용이하도록 변환시켰다. 한편, 이 지역에 영향을 미치는 각 기준들의 중요성을 파악하여 의사결정자의 의견을 반영할 수 있도록 다기준 분석법의 하나인 AHP를 이용하여 가중치를 산정하였다. 다음으로, 다양한 출처의 자료를 표준화하여 GIS의 래스터 자료로 구축한 후, 가중치를 적용한 개별 레이어를 지도대수와 중첩분석을 이용하여 최종 결과 레이어를 생성하였다. 생성된 최종 결과 레이어 상의 공간의 대안인 각 셀 값을 비교ㆍ분석하였다. 이로 인한 결과는 연안의 유한한 자원과 공간의 다양한 이용상태를 관리하기 위한 해안과 육상의 정보를 제공할 수 있다. GIS와 다기준 분석을 통합함으로써 다양한 출처의 공간정보를 분석하고 연안의 현 상태를 밝힐 수 있다. 또한, 이것은 분석 결과가 단순하고 명확하게 설명되어 정책 결정자에게 유용한 정보를 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 이 정보를 이용하여 실질적인 연안관리계획을 수립하는데 도움이 된다.가능성 0.5이상의 면적은 59%를 차지하였다.퇴적이 우세한 것으로 관측되었다.보체계의 구축사업의 시각이 행정정보화, 생활정보화, 산업정보화 등 다양한 분야와 결합하여 보다 큰 시너지 효과와 사용자 중심의 서비스 개선을 창출할 수 있는 기반을 제공할 것을 기대해 본다.. 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때, ${\beta}$-glucan은 고용량일 때 직접적으로 또는 $IFN-{\gamma}$ 존재시에는 저용량에서도 복강 큰 포식세로를 활성화시킬 뿐 아니라, 탐식효율도 높임으로써 면역기능을 증진 시키는 것으로 나타났고, 그 효과는 crude ${\beta}$-glucan의 추출조건에 따라 달라지는 것을 알 수 있었다.eveloped. Decision Support Model for Selecting of Lifting Methods for Large Spatial Roof Construction (대공간 지붕철골공사 양중공법 선정을 위한 의사결정지원모델)

  • The purpose of this study was to propose a decision support model for selecting a lifting method of large spatial roof construction. First, we deducted influential factors consist of 6 factors and 19 sub-factors through literature reviews and expert's advices. Second, the relative importance of each factor was calculated by Analytic Hierarchy Process. As a result, 'site condition(0.237)' among 6 factors and 'available space of the site(0.118)' among 19 sub-factors were identified as the most important factor for selecting lifting method. In addition, methods and procedures were established for evaluating alternatives of lifting methods for each influential factor. A decision support model was completed by providing the Site Suitability Index(SSI) of each lifting method. Finally, we got advices form experts who were actually in charge of the works for large spatial construction project to validate the model. The model proposed in this study was analyzed to be useful in selecting the lifting method. The findings of this study are expected to support the decision making of on-site managers when they select the lifting method on the beginning of the project.

Evaluation Method of Green Construction Technologies Using Integrated LCC and LCA Analysis (LCC-LCA 통합 분석에 의한 친환경 건설기술 평가방법)

  • Green technologies of buildings are spreading for saving resource and energy consumption during life cycle of buildings. However, selection of optimized the technologies for applying projects is needed a lot of time and costs. Therefore prioritization is necessary to apply the technologies for buildings. An evaluation of economic value for the technologies is significant for prioritization of the technologies, however, the current evaluation system of economic value for technologies is not reflected the accurate features of the technologies. Green technologies have the objectives for reducing the emission of CO2 and saving the cost during the whole lifecycle of buildings. Thus the evaluation of economic feasibility for green technologies is needed to include the economic value from improving the environment. This paper developed the economic evaluation method integrated with LCC and LCA to accurately analyze the economic value for green technologies. Moreover, this paper drew the priority of the technologies by conducting case studies with the integrated method and analyzing the results with AHP. The conclusion of case studies, Green technologies is worth more if to include the economic value from improving the environment. Then in analysis of priority, Green intelligent component technologies were rated the highest. The conclusion of the study is able to utilize the supporting tool for making decision to select the optimized technologies for the projects and precedence study for developing future research of prioritization for green technologies. The future study for improving the developed method will supplement the various evaluation factors and apply the detailed weight to analyze the priority of green technologies.

The maximum limiting characteristic method-based land suitability assessment for peaches (Prunus persica) and grapes (Vitis vinifera L.) using rasterized data of soil and climate on agricultural land in South Korea (토양 및 기후정보 통합 최대저해인자법에 의한 복숭아와 포도의 적지 평가)

  • Land suitability assessments have been a crucial issue for enhancing productivity in agriculture and conserving agricultural lands. Based on soil and climate information, land suitability assessment for peaches (Prunus persica) and grapes (Vitis vinifera L.) were conducted using the maximum limiting characteristic method (MLCM) in South Korea. In peaches, S1 (highly suitable) exists on 2.21% of the land, S2 (moderately suitable) on 19.20%, N1 (currently not suitable) on 12.07%, and N2 (permanently not suitable) on the remaining 66.52%. In grapes, 3.65% of the land is classified as S1, 17.98% as S2, 11.85% as N1 and 66.52% as N2. In both fruit trees, the results acquired from soil and climatic information were similar to those from soil information alone. The data also suggest that the grades by soil information were relatively low over the land. With the assumption that the more suitable area a province has, the more will be cultivated for the fruit trees, we compared the percentages of area for peach and grape farming per province with the results by MLCM, and suggested that some provinces with a small percentage of farm can be encouraged to plant more in suitable areas as dictated by MLCM for the species. In the near future, we plan to use an advanced method such as analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to conduct similar tests, in which having reference data of yields or benefits per farm can efficiently increase the accuracy of the measurements.
