Analysis of ADS-B ground trajectory data using non-aviation approval public data (공공용 정보를 이용한 ADS-B 지상 항적 자료 분석)

  • In this study, we surveyed analysis of ADS-B ground trajectory data using non-aviation approval public data. For analysis used non-aviation public data and commercial ADS-B receiver. The study result is available using ADS-B ground trajectory data for airfield surveillance on limited range. Also, to confirmed of available using non-aviation public data for aviation research.

Comparison of Clustering Techniques in Flight Approach Phase using ADS-B Track Data (공항 근처 ADS-B 항적 자료에서의 클러스터링 기법 비교)

  • Deviation of route in aviation safety management is a dangerous factor that can lead to serious accidents. In this study, the anomaly score is calculated by classifying the tracks through clustering and calculating the distance from the cluster center. The study was conducted by extracting tracks within 100 km of the airport from the ADS-B track data received for one year. The wake was vectorized using linear interpolation. Latitude, longitude, and altitude 3D coordinates were used. Through PCA, the dimension was reduced to an axis representing more than 90% of the overall data distribution, and k-means clustering, hierarchical clustering, and PAM techniques were applied. The number of clusters was selected using the silhouette measure, and an abnormality score was calculated by calculating the distance from the cluster center. In this study, we compare the number of clusters for each cluster technique, and evaluate the clustering result through the silhouette measure.

The Deviation Distribution of Target on the ILS Final Approach Segment Using ADS-B Message (ADS-B 신호를 이용한 ILS 최종접근 구간의 항공기 항적 이격 분포 도출)

  • ADS-B can provide high accurate position information and faster update rate than Radar system and it is a technique that can supplement or replace the Radar. Recently ADS-B has been applied to the actual aircraft operation because to increase air transportation traffic and required to high accurate surveillance. In this study, we surveyed analysis of position deviation distribution analysis and received actual ADS-B trajectory data for conformed precise surveillance on the near airport area using ADS-B message. For that, we received the precision instrument approach ADS-B trajectory data using instrument landing system, and can analyse about target deviation distribution on the final approach segment about precision instrument approach. The result of analysis is mean distance of target deviation -0.04 m and standard deviation 6.71 m on between ADS-B target and extended runway centerline. Also that is to conformed the ADS-B message trajectory available to provide relatively exact surveillance information.

  • Runway and taxiway is base facilities for aircraft take off and landing and runway capacity is one of major factor for airport capacity. Runway occupancy time is affect on the runway capacity. The identification of aircraft using taxiway by analysis of airport ground surveillance data and the measurement of pass time on the points is general method for the confirmation of the runway occupancy time. This study is runway occupancy time analysis of landing airplane using ADS-B message, in this study we surveyed landing aircraft runway occupancy time and analysis of serviced record using taxiway include rapid exit taxiway. The result of analysis is to confirm the different of landing direction and aircraft category on the same runway caused by structure of airport. Also the result of runway occupancy time analyzed data, it is base input data for the air transportation simulation.
