Fatigue crack propagation behaviors and life prediction for SUS 321 plate and its electron beam weld metal were investigated using compact tension specimens. The larger the stress ratio is, the faster the crack propagates, but the variation of crack propagation rate decreases. The effect of stress ratio is greater in the slow crack propagation area than in the faster one. The crack propagation rate of electron beam weld metal is faster than that of base metal because of hardening, weld defect and residual stress in welding area. The crack propagation rate of transverse weld metal has a lower than that of base metal due to the effect of residual stress, but in the time of passing through welding area, has a higher rate. The crack propagation rate using $\Delta$K$_{eff}$ can be well plotted regardless of stress ratio. The fatigue life prediction method of considering crack closure more exactly predicts fatigue life than conventional one. conventional one.e.

This paper presents a sliding mode controller based on variable structure for the tip position control of a single-link flexible manipulator. Dynamic equations of a single-link flexible manipulator are derived from the Euler-Lagrange equation using a Lagrangian assumed modes method based on Bernoulli-Euler Beam theory. Simulation results are presented to show the validity of the system modeling, controller design.

We introduce the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy weak congruence on a semiring and obtain the relation between intuitionistic fuzzy weak congruence and intuitionistic fuzzy ideal of a semiring. Also we define and investigate intuitionistic fuzzy quotient semiring of a semiring over an intuitionistic fuzzy ideal or over an intuitionistic fuzzy weak congruence.

In this paper we investigate a generalization of the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability for a functional equation of the form $f(\varphi(X))\;=\;\phi(X)f(X)$, where X lie in n-variables. As a consequence, we obtain a stability result in the sense of Hyers, Ulam, Rassias, and Gavruta for many other equations such as the gamma, beta, Schroder, iterative, and G-function type's equations.

Generic submanifolds of a Riemannian manifold endowed with a hypercosymplectic 3-structure are studied. Integrability conditions for certain distributions on the generic submanifold are discussed. Geometry of leaves of certain distributions are also studied.

We introduce a special class of structured frames having single generators in finite dimensional Hilbert spaces. We call them as pseudo B-Gabor like frames and present a characterisation of the frame operators associated with these frames. The concept of Gabor semi-frames is also introduced and some significant properties of the associated semi-frame operators are discussed.

Korean Bryocoris species, B. gracilis and B. montanus, were reviewed. Of these, B. gracilis Linnavuori, 1962 is first reported in Korea and diagnosed, based on a single female specimen collected from Mount Hwangmaesan, Gyeongsangnam-do province. A key to the Korean species and photographs on external features are given.

The purpose of this paper is to establish the common fixed point theorem in the intuitionistic fuzzy metric space in which it is a little revised in Park [11]. Our research are an extension of Jungck's common fixed point theorem [8] in the intuitionistic fuzzy metric space.
