Effects of packaging material and oxygen absorbant on physical and chemical properties of Yukwu were studied during storage to develop packaging conditions. The packaging materials used were PET/EVOH $(16\;{\mu}m)/PL$ : P1 and PET/EVOH $(24\;{\mu}m)/PL$ : P2 with or without oxygen absorbent (E1A : P1 and E2A : P2 for w/ $O_2$, absorbent, E1EA : P1 and E2EA : P2 for w/o $O_2$, absorbent). Color values for Yukwu indicated that L values of E1A, E1EA, E2A and E2EA were decreased during storage while those b values were increased. Hardness and chewiness of Yukwa were generally decreased, however those of E1A and E1EA were rather increased after 6 weeks of storage. Acid value of E2A had maintained less than 2.0 during 12 weeks of storage. E1A, E2A had the below of 20 in peroxide during 12 weeks. Aroma data by using electronic nose showed that there was no difference after 6 week storage time in different packaging materials. Sensory evaluation (Yukwa odor and rancid odor) showed very similar results with electronic nose one. E2A had the highest value of overall acceptability for sensory evaluation. Hardness and cheweness in physical measurement results had the highest correlation with hardness, crispness, overall-acceptability in sensory evaluation results.
RraA is a recently discovered protein inhibitor that regulates the enzymatic activity of RNase E, which plays a major role in the decay and processing of RNAs in Escherichia coli. It has also been shown to regulate the activity of RNase ES, a functional Streptomyces coelicolor ortholog of RNase E, which has 36% identity to the amino-terminal region of RNase E. There are two open reading frames in S. coelicolor genome that can potentially encode proteins having more than 35.4% similarity to the amino acid sequence of RraA. DNA fragment encoding one of these RraA orthologs, designated as RraAS2 here, was amplified and cloned in to E. coli vector to test whether it has ability to regulate RNase E activity in E. coli cells. Co-expression of RraAS2 partially rescued E. coli cells over-producing RNase E from growth arrest, although not as efficiently as RraA, induced by the increased ribonucleolytic activity in the cells. The copy number of ColEl-type plasmid in these cells was also decreased by 14% compared to that in cells over-producing RNase E only, indicating the ability of RraAS2 to inhibit RNase E action on RNA I. We observed that the expression level of RraAS2 was lower than that of RraA by 4.2 folds under the same culture condition, suggesting that because of inefficient expression of RraAS2 in E. coli cells, co-expression of RraAS2 was not efficiently able to inhibit RNase E activity to the level for proper processing and decay of all RNA species that is required to restore normal cellular growth to the cells over-producing RNase E.
A series of allylidenethiosemicarbazone compounds (2a~2e) were obtained in 45~85% by condensing (E)-3-(aryl)acrylaldehyde (1a~1e) with thiosemicarbazide. Theses compounds on treatment of 2,4'-dibromoacetophenone and 2,3-dichloroquinoxaline yielded 2,4-disubstituted thiazoles (3a~3e) and 2-[(E)-3-(aryl)allylidenehydrazono]thiazolo[5,4-b]quinoxaline (4a~4e) in good yield respectively. The structures of all the newly synthesized compounds were identified by IR and $^1H-NMR$ spectral data.
The growth inhibition of enteropathogenic Escheriohia coli $A_2$and Escherichia coli G$_7$, causing the diarrhea in piglets, by the organic acid producing bacteria was studied in vitro. The metabolites of the organic acid bacteria, such as lactic acid, acetic acid inhibited the growth of E. coli $A_2$and E. coli G$_7$ in BL medium. The more the organic acid producing bacteria have ability to produce the organic acids, the higher these bacteria excelled the inhibitory efficacy against enteropathogenic E. coli. Among the strains examined, Lactobacillus casei Y and Streptococcus faecium C showed relatively strong growth inhibition against enteropathogenic E. coli.. When the organic acid producing bacteria and the enteropathogenic E. coli were incubated simultaneously in BL medium, bacteriostasis of E. coli was observed when the pH of BL culture was lowered to 5.0, and bacteriocidal effect was observed when the pH became Bess than 4.5, E. coli. $A_2$was more resistant to the organic acid bacteria than E. coli G$_7$.
Steroid hormones control the expression of many cellular regulators, and a role thor estrogen in mouse oocytes has been well documented. The preovulatory $E_2$increment is generally accepted as the endocrine process regulating induction of in vivo oocyte maturation To address whether the activity of the T-type $Ca^{2+}$ channel is altered by 17 beta-estradiol ( $E_2$), we examined the actions of $E_2$on the calcium channel of mouse oocytes and early embryos. Oocrtes were collected from the oviduct of mice treated with pregnant mare's serum gonadotropin (PMSG) and human choronic gonadotropin (hCG). Whole cell voltage clamp technique and confocal microscopy were used to examine that $E_2$increase intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentration ([C $a^{2+}$]$_{i}$ ) via voltage dependent $Ca^{2+}$ channel (VDC) and estrogen receptor (FSR), and $E_2$concentration by the use of radioimmunoassay (RIA) were examined in mouse. The results obtained were as follows: The peak of $Ca^{2+}$ current induced by $E_2$increased 122% to 1.50$\pm$0.03 nA from 1.23$\pm$0.21 nA (n=15) in the presence of 5 mM extracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentration ([C $a^{2+}$]$_{o}$ ). The increased $Ca^{2+}$ current was temporally associated with $Ca^{2+}$ transients. The intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ level increased 207%~30 s following the addition of 1${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$$E_2$(relative fluorescence intensity: 836.4$\pm$131.2 for control, n=10, 1736.4$\pm$192.0 in the presence of $E_2$, n=10). $E_2$increased amplitude of $Ca^{2+}$ current and [C $a^{2+}$]$_{i}$ . $E_2$-induced $Ca^{2+}$ current and $E_2$concentration in blood were showed difference on the stage of embryo. These results suggest that $E_2$modulate $Ca^{2+}$ channel to increase $Ca^{2+}$ influx.$Ca^{2+}$ influx.
Structure-activity relationship studies of allylamine type of antimycotics were carried out to evaluate the effect of naphthyl and methyl portion of naftifine. Compounds with 2,4-difluorophenyl( 2a-5a), 2,5-difluorophenyl(2b-5b), 4-ethylphenyl(2c-5c), 2-hydroxyphenyl(2d-5d) and 2-methylnaphthyl(2e-5e) instead of naphthyl group with hydrogen(3a-3e), methyl(4a-4e), and ethyl(5a-5e) in the place of methyl in naftifine were synthesized and tested their in vitro anti-fungal activity against five different fungi. Eight compounds( 3a, 4a, 5a, 3d, 4d, 4d, 5d, 3e, and 4e) showed significant anti-fungal activity against T. mentagroPhytes. (E)-N-(3-Phenyl-2-propenyl)-2- hydroxy-benzenemethaneamine( 3d) displayed moderate antifungal activity against all five different fungi.
This study analyzed the pressure, subjective wearing comfort, and design preference of brassiere shoulder straps among women in their 20s and 40s. Experimental clothing was made by different shoulder strap designs on a brassiere. In the four designs (A-D), the front attachment points of the shoulder straps were the same, but the back attachment points were different. Three of them (E, E1, E2) were of a halter neck design, with different front attachment positions. The pressures of A-D were measured at the position passing through the shoulder line (P1), and E-E2 was measured at the back neck (P2) as well as at P1. Subjective wearing comfort and design preference were rated on a 7-point Likert scale. A was determined to exert the highest pressure at the neck side of the design in the pressure measurement analysis of A-E2, whereas E1 exerted the lowest. E was measured to have the highest pressure among the E-E2 designs, whereas E2 had the lowest. Participants preferred A the most and E the least in regards to the subjective wearing comfort of A-E. Thus, participants deem A to be the most comfortable despite the high strap pressure. However, E was the most favored design, despite its poor wearing comfort. Participants' subjective impressions of E-E2 were that E2 was the most uncomfortable, but its design was the most preferred. Consumers' design preferences and subjective impressions of wearing comfort did not match.

The transcription factor E2F1 is active during G1 to S transition and is involved in the cell cycle and progression. A recent study reported that increased E2F1 is associated with DNA damage and tumor development in several tissues using transgenic models. Here, we show that E2F1 expression is regulated by tristetraprolin (TTP) in prostate cancer. Overexpression of TTP decreased the stability of E2F1 mRNA and the expression level of E2F1. In contrast, inhibition of TTP using siRNA increased the E2F1 expression. E2F1 mRNA contains three AREs within the 3'UTR, and TTP destabilized a luciferase mRNA that contained the E2F1 mRNA 3'UTR. Analyses of point mutants of the E2F1 mRNA 3'UTR demonstrated that ARE2 was mostly responsible for the TTP-mediated destabilization of E2F1 mRNA. RNA EMSA revealed that TTP binds directly to the E2F1 mRNA 3'UTR of ARE2. Moreover, treatment with siRNA against TTP increased the proliferation of PC3 human prostate cancer cells. Taken together, these results demonstrate that E2F1 mRNA is a physiological target of TTP and suggests that TTP controls proliferation as well as migration and invasion through the regulation of E2F1 mRNA stability.
Nowadays, the spreading of electronic commerce using internet demands a lot of change in business environments, as it is called B2B. Especially, the B2B based EC have a majority rates over the 10% of whole EC markets. As the approach way and the core axis of e-Marketplace in B2B markets are changed more by the business section and industry section than by each company sections, all of the world leading company including Korea are trying to take a prior occupation in e-Marketplace market. In korea, B2B e-Marketplace are mainly leaded by ministry of commerce, industry and energy which choice the company, run a trial managed company. Above MOCIE efforts are now having a lot of trial and error. Accordingly, this thesis are focused on researching the construction trends of B2B e-Marketplace, the future prospects, and promotion plans.
