Al doped ZnO thin films have been deposited by a RF magnetron sputtering technique from a ZnO (2 wt.% $Al_2O_3$) target onto glass substrates heated at temperature ranging from RT to $400^{\circ}C$. X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the deposits have a preferential growth along the c-axis of a hexagonal structure. The full with at half maximum decreases from 0.45 to $0.43^{\circ}$ in the studied temperature range. The root main square surface roughness increases with substrate temperature from 1.89 to 2.67 nm. All films are transparent up to 80% in the visible wavelength range and the adsorption edge is red-shifted with substrate temperature from RT to $400^{\circ}C$. The sheet resistance increases from 92 ohm/sq to 419 ohm/sq when the deposition temperature increases from RT to $400^{\circ}C$. The increment of sheet resistance is caused by lowered carrier concentration resulting from an increase in surface roughness.
We have studied the role of ${\alpha}-Al_{2}O_{3}$ buffer layer as a diffusion barrier in the Ba-ferrite/$SiO_{2}$ magnetic thin films for high-density recording media. In the interface of amorphous Ba-ferrite $(1900-{\AA}-thick)/SiO_{2}$ thin film during annealing, the interfacial diffusion started to occur at ${\sim}700^{\circ}C$. As the annealing temperature increased up to $800^{\circ}C$, the interfacial diffusion abruptly proceeded resulting in the high interface roughness and the deterioration of the magnetic properties. In order to control the interfacial diffusion at the high temperature, we introduced ${\alpha}-Al_{2}O_{3}$ buffer layer ($110-{\AA}-thick$) in the interface of Ba-ferrite/$SiO_{2}$ thin film. During the annealing of Ba-ferrite/${\alpha}-Al_{2}O_{3}/SiO_{2}$ thin film even at ${\sim}800^{\circ}C$, the interface was very smooth. The magnetic properties, such as saturation magnetization and intrinsic coercivity, were also enhanced, due to the inhibition of interfacial diffusion by the ${\alpha}-Al_{2}O_{3}$ buffer layer. Our study suggests that the ${\alpha}-Al_{2}O_{3}$ buffer layer act as a useful interfacial diffusion barrier in the Ba-ferrite/$SiO_{2}$ magnetic thin films.

With the recent steady development of IoT technology, it is widely used in medical systems and smart TV watches. 66% of software development is developed through language C, which is vulnerable to memory attacks, and acts as a threat to IoT devices using language C. A stack-smashing overflow attack inserts a value larger than the user-defined buffer size, overwriting the area where the return address is stored, preventing the program from operating normally. IoT devices with low memory capacity are vulnerable to stack smashing overflow attacks. In addition, if the existing vaccine program is applied as it is, the IoT device will not operate normally. In order to defend against stack smashing overflow attacks on IoT devices, we used canaries among several detection methods to set conditions with random values, checksum, and DSLR (random storage locations), respectively. Two canaries were placed within the buffer, one in front of the return address, which is the end of the buffer, and the other was stored in a random location in-buffer. This makes it difficult for an attacker to guess the location of a canary stored in a fixed location by storing the canary in a random location because it is easy for an attacker to predict its location. After executing the detection program, after a stack smashing overflow attack occurs, if each condition is satisfied, the program is terminated. The set conditions were combined to create a number of eight cases and tested. Through this, it was found that it is more efficient to use a detection method using DSLR than a detection method using multiple conditions for IoT devices.
This paper is intended as an investigation of 5 sentence patterns which have exerted a strong influence on the English education in Korea. The 'learning grammar', which is defined as the grammar in learning materials, was compared with 'reference grammar' derived from linguistic grammar with theoretical accuracy and validity. Although the notion of 5 sentence patterns has been assumed to be vestiges of old Japan textbooks, the classification system was originally established in 1929 by C. T. Onions. Particularly, new explanations regarding 'obligatory adjuncts' and 'marked construction' were provided in the learning materials, which could be seen as examples of the reflection of linguistic grammar theories on sentence patterns. If reference grammarbooks and the fruits of linguistic grammar research are used actively, material writers can avoid the errors of grammar description and more correct learning grammar can be taught to advanced learners.
In this paper we have presented the results of thermodynamic, structural, and dynamic properties of model systems for liquid benzene, toluene and p-xylene in an isobaric-isothermal (NpT) ensemble at 283.15, 303.15, 323.15, and 343.15 K using molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. This work is initiated to compensate for our previous canonical (NVT) ensemble MD simulations [Bull. Kor. Chem. Soc. 2001, 23, 441] for the same systems in which the calculated pressures were too low. The calculated pressures in the NpT ensemble MD simulations are close to 1 atm and the volume of each system increases with increasing temperature. The first and second peaks in the center of mass g(r) diminish gradually and the minima increase as usual for the three liquids as the temperature increases. The three peaks of the site-site gC-C(r) at 283.15 K support the perpendicular structure of nearest neighbors in liquid benzene. Two self-diffusion coefficients of liquid benzene via the Einstein equation and via the Green-Kubo relation are in excellent agreement with the experimental measures. The self-diffusion coefficients of liquid toluene and p-xylene are in accord with the trend that the self-diffusion coefficient decreases with increasing number of methyl group. The friction constants calculated from the force auto-correlation (FAC) function with the assumption that the fast random force correlation ends at time which the FAC has the first negative value give a correct qualitative trends: decrease with increase of temperature and increase with the number of methyl group. The friction constants calculated from the FAC's are always less than those obtained from the friction-diffusion relation which reflects that the random FAC decays slower than the total FAC as described by Kubo [Rep. Prog. Phys. 1966, 29, 255].

(1-X)$(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3-XK_{5.4}Cu_{1.3}Ta_{10}O_{29}$ (NKN-KCT) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics have been synthesized by the conventional solid state sintering method, and their sinterability and piezoelectric properties were investigated. Typically, this material is sintered between 1,025 and $1,100^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours to achieve the required densification. Crystalline structures and Microstructures were analyzed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope. The density, dielectric constant (${\varepsilon}_r$), piezoelectric constant $d_{33}$, electromechanical coupling factor $k_p$ and mechanical quality factor $Q_m$ value of the NKN ceramics depended upon the KCT content and the sintering temperature. In particular, the KCT addition to NKN greatly improved the mechanical quality factor $Q_m$ value. The ceramic with X = 1.0 mol% sintered at $1,050^{\circ}C$ exhibited optimum properties (${\varepsilon}_r$=246, $d_{33}$=95, $k_p$=0.38 and $Q_m$=1,826). These results indicate that the ceramic is a promising candidate material for applications in lead free piezoelectric transformer and filter materials.
The pharmacokinetics of nifedipine was studied after oral coadministration of nifedipine (5 mg/kg) with quercetin (1.5, 7.5, 15 and 30 mg/kg, respectively) and 0.5 h or 3days pretreatment with quercetin (1.5 and 7.5mg/kg) in rabbits. Pretreatment of quercetin significantly (p<0.05, at 0.5 h; p<0.01, at 3 days) increased the plasma concentration of nifedipine, but not significant in coadministraiton. The area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) and the peak concentration $(C_{max})$ of nifedipine pretreated with quercetin were increased significantly (p<0.05, at 0.5 h; p<0.01, at 3 days) compared to the control. By coadministration of quercetin, only 7.5 mg/kg of quercetin increased plasma AUC and $C_{max}$ of nifedipine significantly (p<0.05) compared to the control. Plasma AUC of intravenous nifedipine (1 mg/kg) is $4235\;{\pm}\;1192\;ng/ml{\cdot}hr$. Pretreatment of quercetin significantly (p<0.05, at 0.5 h; p<0.01, at 3 days) increased the absolute bioavailability (AB%) of nifedipine to 23.9-29.2% compared to the control (17.8%). Coadministration of quercetin showed no significant effect on the AB% of nifedipine except for 7.5 mg/kg. It is suggested that quercetin alters disposition of nifedipine by inhibition of P-glycoprotein efflux pump and its first-pass metabolism. The dosage of nifedipine should be adjusted when it is administered chronically with quercetin in a clinical situation.
Environment-friendly composites reinforced with bagasse fiber (BF), a kind of natural fiber as the remains from squeezed sugarcane, were fabricated by injection molding and press molding. As appropriate matrices for injection molding and press molding, polypropylene (PP) and polycaprolactone-cornstarch (PCL-C) were selected, as a typical recyclable resin and biodegradable resin, respectively. The mechanical properties of BF/PP composites were investigated in view of fiber mass fraction and injection molding conditions. And the mechanical properties and the biodegradation of BF/PCL composites were also evaluated. In the case of injection molding, the flexural modulus increased with an increase in fiber mass fraction, and the mechanical properties decreased with an increase in cylinder temperature due to the thermal degradation of BF. The optimum conditions increasing the flexural properties and the impact strength were $90^{\circ}C$ mold temperature, 30 s injection interval, and in the range of 165 to $185^{\circ}C$ cylinder temperature. On the other hand, as to BF/PCL-C fully-green composites, both the flexural properties and the impact strength increased with an increase in fiber mass fraction. It is considered that the BF compressed during preparation could result in the enhancement in mechanical properties. The results of the biodegradability test showed the addition of BF caused the acceleration of weight loss, which increased further with increasing fiber content. This reveals that the addition and the quantities of BF could promote the biodegradation of fully-green composites.
The purpose of this study was to optimize carbonate suspension counting method for the measurements of high level activity of $^{14}C$ in a reactor stack effluent gases. Although it is less sensitive method, the carbonate suspension counting method has been found to be a suitable technique for the $^{14}C$ monitoring of samples with small amount but with high specific activity and to be relatively simple and fast.

This paper presents the straightness compensation system which is a device for improving the machining accuracy of ultra-precision machines by synchronizing the position of diamond tool tip with machine error motion. Sine it is actuated by piezoelectric actuator with highly nonlinear hysteresis characteristics, the feedback control schemes such as Proportional Integral(PI), are required and realized by measuring the displacements of diamond tool tip. for the better tracking performance, the controller was implemented using TMS320C32 32bit floating-point DSP which is fast so that the real-time control is possible. In addition, stand alone type DSP board was chosen fur the easy assembly into the ultra-precision machines. The experimental results show good command tracking performance and the motion error of the machine is satisfactorily compensated during the machining process.
