In mobile Internet banking service through wireless local area network, security is a most important factor to consider. We describe the development of mobile banking service using Personal Digatal Assistant (PDA). In order to increase the strength of encryption, we adopted hybrid approach where both of the public key algorithm and the secret key algorithm are used during the transaction among PDA, banking server and authentication server.

학급은 학생들이 주로 생활하는 곳이다. 이 곳에서의 경험은 삶의 질과 직접적으로 연관된다고 할 수 있다. 또한 학생들의 학업성취와 인격형성은 학급교사의 경영 방식에 따라 크게 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 학생의 사회성 발달에 영향을 미치는 교사의 학급경영에 도움을 주고자 항상 휴대가 가능한 PDA 의 장점을 이용하여 임베디드 리눅스를 이용한 학급경영 시스템을 구현하였다.

사회 전반에 걸친 디지털 혁명에 따라 IT를 기반으로 하는 다양한 정보화 터널시공기법이 개발되고 있으며 터널시공시 의사결정체계의 일환으로 적용되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 PDA를 이용한 터널시공의 정보화에 대하여 기술하였으며, 특히 시공중 발생하는 각종 막장면 데이터를 실시간으로 입 출력 및 저장하고 이를 기반으로 지보패턴을 결정할 수 있는 의사결정체계를 구축하였다. 이를 위하여 무선 네트워크, 이동식 컴퓨터, CDMA 및 디지털카메라 등 최근 정보통신을 바탕으로 한 막장면 매핑자료의 실시간 데이터 수집 및 해석, 디지털 매핑등이 가능한 PDA용 S/W를 개발하였으며 현장적용에 대하여 고려하였다. 향후에는 실제 시공시 사용된 지보방법 및 소요 지보량을 함께 저장할 수 있는 DB를 구축하는 한편 현장적용을 통한 feedback 결과에 대하여 연구가 지속될 예정이다.

A portable electronic tongue(E-Tongue) system using an array of ion-selective electrode(ISE) and personal digital assistants(PDA) for recognizing and analyzing food and drink have been designed. By the employment of PDA, the complex algorithm such as fuzzy c-means algorithm(FCMA) could be used in E-Tongue, FCMA could iteratively solve the cluster centers of pre-determined standard patterns. And the membership between the standard patterns and unknown pattern could be analyzed easily by the present E-Tongue combined with PDA.

We introduce Location PDA Program which is a mobile system to display current location on PDA. The current location is calculated based on collecting location through each fixed node. Each fixed node sends location information of mobile node to Cell Manager system. And then, Cell Manager calculates final location based on related information and sends it to every mobile system which is connected to server and displays current location.

Dynamic pile loading test using PDA was introduced in 1994. Because of its economy and relatively easy and simple procedure, the number of PDA application increased quite rapidly. It is assumed that more than 10,000 dynamic pile loading tests are done annually. While the number of testing increases sharply, the quality of the tests does not really improve but the number of serious problems due to improper testing increases. According to the limited experiences of the authors, the common problems found in most of the cases are caused by ignorance of the most basic and fundamental requirements. In this paper some case histories are explained and the proposed solution is introduced.

Diacetylene lipid monomers possess the capability to self-assemble into vesicles via polymerization under ultraviolet irradiation, resulting in the formation of polydiacetylene (PDA) liposomes. Exposure of the polymerized vesicles to external stimuli is known to induce a unique blue-to-red color transition. The cyclic oligosaccharide ${\alpha}$-cyclodextrin known for its use in many applications, such as drug delivery, purification, and stimulus sensing, is able to form an inclusion complex with poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) in aqueous solution. In this study, we prepared polymeric liposomes with PEG (PEG-PDA) with the aim of improving the stability of the vesicles and colorimetric response toward ${\alpha}$-cyclodextrin. We demonstrated that PEG-PDA liposome displays unique characteristics compared with native PDA liposome and it also shows apparent chromic properties of the inclusion complex formation with ${\alpha}$-cyclodextrin.

M-Commerce에서 안전한 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 보안 기능을 갖춘 결제 솔루션이 필수적이다. M-Commerce를 이용하기 위한 사용자의 이동 단말기는 핸드폰, PDA, 스마트폰 등으로 다양화 되어가고 있으며, 이 중에서도 PDA의 인터페이스와 이동 접속은 기존 핸드폰의 유선 인터넷의 정보 의존도가 높은 단점을 극복할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 타원곡선 암호를 이용하여 PDA 기반의 신용카드결제 시스템을 설계하였다. 제안된 시스템의 SECURE CARD모듈은 PDA 단말기 자체에 개인정보, 배송정보, 카드정보를 암호화하여 안전하게 저장함으로써 단말기의 정보입력시에 필요한 불편함을 제거하였다. 또한 프로토콜은 M-Commerce에서 인증, 기밀성, 무결성, 부인봉쇄 서비스 등의 보안기능을 제공하도록 설계되었다.
