This study was designed to know the change of housing values from 1960s to the present, for finding the directions of housing design and housing policy. The content analysis method was used for this study. Data were collected through advertisement about apartment in newspaper, and the sample consisted of 781 advertisements. Frequency, percentage and x2-test were used. The results showed that housing values were changed according to the times. Especially, the economic value, the convenience value, the family centrism value, the location value, and the educational environment value were changed.
The earlier studies have verified that brand values have significant impact on financial values such as stock return and stock price to justify marketing costs for brand building. Except for Mizik and Jacobson (2008), however, little research has addressed what kinds of brand components composing brand values have a significant relationship with financial values. As a follow-up research of Mizik and Jacobson (2008), this research focuses on what kinds of relationships exist between the unanticipated change of each brand asset component and stock return, one of the financial values. The authors selected six brand asset components from the Korea-Brand Power Index(K-BPI) data in which 'Top of Mind,' 'Unaided Awareness,' and 'Aided Awareness' are brand awareness measures and 'Image,' 'Purchase Intention,' and 'Preference' are brand loyalty measures. Out of those six brand components, they found that unanticipated changes of 'Top of Mind,' 'Unaided Awareness,' 'Image,' and 'Preference' have significantly positive effect on unexpected stock return change. Therefore, they conclude that these four brand asset components provide incremental information in explaining unanticipated stock return.

In this paper, we discuss the errors in selectivity estimation using the multilevel grid file (MLGF). We first demonstrate that the estimatio errors stem from the uniformity assumption that records are uniformly distributed in their belonging region represented by an entry in a level of an MLGF directory. Bsed on this demonstration, we then investigate five factors affecting the accuracy of estimation: (1) the data distribution in a region (2) the number of records stored in an MLFG (3) the page size, (4) the query region size, and (5) the level of an MLFG directory. Next we present the tendancy of estimation errors according to the change of values for each factor through experiments. The results show that the errors decrease when (1) the distribution of records in a region becomes closer to the uniform one, (2) the number of records in an MLFG increases, (3) the page size decreases, (4) the query region size increases, and (5) the level of an MLFG directory employed as data distribution information becomes lower. After the definition of the granule ratio, the core formula representing the basic relationship between the estimation errors and the above five factors, we finally examine the change of estimation errors according to the change of the values for the granule ratio through experiments. The results indicate that errors tend to be similar depending on the values for the granule ratio regardless of the various changes of the values for the five factors. factors affecting the accuracy of estimation:
Spirometry and regional function studies using 99m-Technetium were performed preoperatively to predict postoperative pulmonary function change in 34 patients who had various pulmonary resectional procedures at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Seoul National University Hospital. Between two months and fourteen months postoperation all the patients were reinvestigated with spirometry and clinical examination to evaluate their functional respiratory status. The postoperative obtained values, especially forced vital capacity [FVC] and forced expiratory volume in one second [FEV1] among the other parameters were compared with the postoperative predicted values. Estimated values of FVC and FEV1 derived from preoperative spirometry and quantitative perfusion lung scan correlated well with the measured postoperative values. The linear regression line derived from correlation between postoperative estimated[X] and postoperative measured[Y] values of FVC and FEV1 in all patients are as follows; 1. Y=0.76x + 0.39 in correlation of FVC [r=0.91] 2. Y=0.88x + 0.17 in correlation of FEV1 [r=0.96],br> This method of estimation was one of the best methods of predicting postoperative pulmonary function change and valuable in determining the extent of safe resection and postoperative prognosis to a poor risk patient with chronic obstructive lung disease.
This paper investigates factors underlying a decrease in trading values in KOSPI 200 futures/options market on the basis of the current state of the markets. Among the factors that could affect trading values in KOSPI 200 derivatives market, we focus on the market activity of underlying assets as it has an impact on the trading of financial derivatives. Trading value and volatility are designated as market activity and the empirical results confirm that the market activity of the underlying assets is significant in explaining the decrease in trading values in KOSPI 200 futures/options market. To figure out fundamental reasons of the decrease in trading values in this market, we examine mitigation of home bias and decrease in leverage incentives as they are presumed to have influence on KOSPI 200 index market. As the global and local financial environment is time-varying, the degree of home bias and the leverage demand also changes. It implies that institutional change and/or policy effort to promote the trading of KOSPI 200 financial derivatives should be made taking into account the fact that considerable portion of the change in trading values in financial derivatives market depends on the state of the market.

The studies on shrinkage and characteristics of the weft knitted fabrics were investigated under the various dry and wet treating conditions. Various relaxation values were found out according to treating conditions. The characteristics of knitted fabrics such as shrinkage rate, thickness, spirality, elongation and recovery were also measured. The used knitting yams were OE (open-end) cotton and POY (pre-oriented yarn)-DTY (draw textured yam) polyester. The conclusions obtained in this study are as follows. 1. In case of dry relaxation little change of Ks values was seen with increasing time after 48 hours. So it was found that relaxation shrinkage of dry relaxation reached its maximal state in about 48 hours. 2. In case of wet relaxation, higher Ks values were observed, in comparision with those of dry one and higher shrinkage rates were also observed. But when experimental temperature was constant, sudden marked increases in Ks values and shrinkage rates appeared through the initial 4 hours, and after that time little change was seen in them. 3. As Ks value increases, thickness also increased. But thickness showed to some degree stability around Ks value 23. 4. As Ks value increases, spirality values also increased gradually. But little change of spirality values was observed above a certain Ks values (cotton 22.5, polyester 21.5). 5. As Ks value increases, the elongation decreased under a certain load, and the recovery was random.
The purposes of this study were (1) to segment female college students' apparel shoppers into unique apparel buying decision-making style groups; and (2) to profile for each segment in terms of personal characteristics (material values, change seeking tendency and prestige sensitivity) and fashion information sources. Data were collected through questionnaires from convenient sample of 290 female college students. As a result of cluster analysis and univariate analysis of variance, distinctive consumer decision-making style groups of consumers were identified; Value-maximizing Recreational Shoppers, Brand-Maximizing Emotional Shoppers, and Apathetic Shoppers. These three groups were compared as to the effect of personal characteristics variables and fashion information sources through univariate analysis of variance and chi-square statistics. The result showed that personal characteristics (material values, change seeking tendency and prestige sensitivity) and fashion-information sources do influence the consumer decision-making styles and that these three groups were unique in their decision-making characteristics showing that consumer decision-making styles can be a good segmentation base for apparel market.
To study the NMR chemical shift arising from the 5f-electron orbital angular momentum and the 5f-electron spin dipolar-nuclear spin angular momentum interactions, the evaluation of the hyperfine integrals has been extended to any pairs of SCF type 5f orbitals adopting a general method which is applicable to a general vector R, pointing in any direction in space. From the electronic wavefunctions for 5f orbitals expressed in common coordinate system, the radial part of the hyperfine interaction integrals are derived by translating the exponential part, r2 exp(-2βr), in terms of R, rN and the modified Bessel functions. The radial integals for 5f orbitals are tabulated in analytical forms. When two of the hyperfine integrals along the (100), (010), (001), (110), and (111) axes are calculated using the derived radial integrals, the calculated values for the 5f system change sign for R-values larger than R 0.35 nm. But the calculated values for the 4f systems change sign for R-values larger than R 0.20 nm.
The focus of this research is the practice of journalism in relation to the Behavioural Change Journalism Fellowship (JFPP) during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Journalists and curators who are participants in the Behavioural Change Journalism Fellowship received fundings from the state. The Behavioural Change Journalism Fellowship is a unique model because it is the only one in the world in journalism practice that involves state's financial assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic. These fundings from the state for the media lead to dilemmas and controversies. This research uses a qualitative approach and a single holistic case study method. The Behavioural Change Journalism Fellowship was held from May to December 2021, involving 7,276 journalists from 857 media (print, television, radio, and online media) and 26 curators. This study found that during the Behavioural Change Journalism Fellowship, journalism experienced a crisis and lost its function as a control overpower. Giving cash to journalists and curators during the fellowship makes journalism lose its independence and objectivity. The Behavioural Change Journalism Fellowship has degraded or eliminated the function of the press as a watchdog. Incentives for journalists while participating in the Behavioural Change Journalism Fellowship is a long-term investment by the government to co-opt Indonesian media and journalists in the future. On the other hand, the Behavioural Change Journalism Fellowship raises another aspect; the crisis of journalism. Journalism work produced in the Behavioural Change Journalism Fellowship does not reflect the values and principles of journalism. Journalism values, such as independence and impartiality, are absent from the Behavioural Change Journalism Fellowship product.
