Understanding molecular mechanisms that control embryonic stem cell (ESC) self-renewal and differentiation is important for the development of ESC-based therapies. Statins, inhibitors of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase (HMG-CoA reductase), potently reduce cholesterol level. As well as inhibiting cholesterol synthesis, statins inhibit other intermediates in the mevalonate pathway such as farnesyl pyrophosphate (FPP) and geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate (GGPP), major substrates for protein isoprenylation. Studies showed that pleiotropic effects of statins beyond cholesterol lowering property arise from inhibition of protein isoprenylation that is involved in various cellular functions including proliferation and differentiation. It has been determined that statins have inhibitory effect on ESC self-renewal and stimulatory effect on ESC differentiation into adipogenic/osteogenic lineages. Importantly, statins mediate downregulation of ESC self-renewal by inhibiting RhoA-dependent signaling, independently of their choresterol-lowering properties. Understanding statin's actions on ESCs may provide important insights into the molecular mechanisms that regulate self-renewal or differentiation of ESCs.

The purpose of this study is to shed light on the relationship between perceived value(PV), attitude toward the exhibition(ATYCSE), and behavioral intention toward the exhibition(BITYCSE) through literature review and quantitative research, focusing on <Yumi's Cells Special Exhibition (2020)> as an Instagrammable exhibition. The exhibition has strong entertainment experience quality, and taking pictures has a positive correlation with the satisfaction as well as the immersion, while sharing the viewing experience on Instagram does not influence on the ATYCSE in terms of the PV. Satisfaction also has meaningful correlations with the immersion and the detail factors of BITYCSE. In particular, it can be confirmed that the storytelling factor occupied a superiority over the exhibit factors or the exhibition environment of the Instagram-friendly exhibition, and through this, the importance of storytelling was confirmed. This research unveils implications for the influence of the interactivity and participatory features of the Instagrammable exhibition on the ATYCSE as a potential factor of PV, and the importance of storytelling in Instagrammable exhibitions.

The geotextile tube shall be sewen with geotextile longitudinally in the shape of hose and it shall be filled hydraulically through filling ports at the proper intervals to construct structure. Geotextile container shall be sewen after spreading of geotextile on the split barge and sealed shut after the filling soil, and then moved and positioned at the required position. And the geotextile container passes through the bottom of barge by opening split barge and drops to the seabed to form structure. This structure for the ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ project, UAE and we would propose that geotextile containment for core material of power plant breakwater to be constructed for lower bunds with containers up to -4.0m and do upper parts with the structures of tube up to 0.0m. For the application of proposed geotextile containment, review on stability of breakwaters and design consideration were adopted. The evaluation on stability of geotextile containment was classified by 3 items, internal design consideration for material selection, reviews on stability for individual and global structure. In this research, the geothermal analysis was performed to estimate the geothermal behavior of central breakwater. Central breakwater is located boundary of intake and outfall channel, it is mean that the central breakwater is thermal boundary of intake low temperature sea water and outfall high temperature sea water. Therefore, it is required to be designed a low permeability to ensure no mix of intake and outfall waters.

As Steiner minimum tree building belongs to NP-Complete problem domain, heuristics for the problem ask for immense amount execution time and computations in numerous inputs. In this paper, we propose an efficient mechanism of euclidean Steiner minimum tree construction for numerous inputs using combination of Delaunay triangulation and Prim's minimum spanning tree algorithm. Trees built by proposed mechanism are compared respectively with the Prim's minimum spanning tree and minimums spanning tree based Steiner minimum tree. For 30,000 input nodes, Steiner minimum tree by proposed mechanism shows about 2.1% tree length less and 138.2% execution time more than minimum spanning tree, and does about 0.013% tree length less and 18.9% execution time less than minimum spanning tree based Steiner minimum tree in experimental results. Therefore the proposed mechanism can work moderately well to many useful applications where execution time is not critical but reduction of tree length is a key factor.

Blends consisting of linear shape polylactic acid and star shape polylactic acid (L-PLLA/S-PLLA) have been prepared by melt and solution blending. The effect of blending method on the thermal properties and crystallization behavior of L-PLLA/S-PLLA blends has been investigated. The molecular weight decrease was revealed both in melt and solution blending. S-PLLA was found to be more stable than L-PLLA in the reduction of molecular weight during the course of blending due to its star shape structure. As a result, broad molecular weight distribution was obtained in solution blending. It was found that melting temperature and glass transition temperature decrease with increasing S-PLLA content. Blending method had large influence on the glass transition temperature of PLLA blends, while less effect on melting temperature. From DSC results, it can be noticed that solution blending is more effective blending method to obtain higher crystallinity than melt blending for S-PLLA and blend with higher S-PLLA content.

The main purpose of this study was to investigate K-pop stars' images in photos presented by social networks in China. In this study photos of K-pop stars were collected from a community site of Baidu as one of the biggest portal sites and were five idol groups (EXO, IKON, T-ara, Wonder Girls, and Girls' Generation) which have beeb getting famous in China. For this musical styles and backgrounds of the K-pop idol stars were scrutinized in brief and explored in respect with its images. The results of the study were follows: First, the overall pictorial images of K-pop boys' groups were characterized in masculine and stylish images emphasizing the western appearance. In case of K-pop girl groups, sexy, gorgeous, feminine and youthful images were identified. In conclusion, K-pop idol stars is contributing to expand Korean pop arts into Chinese public culture as Chinese people produced and circulated the pictorial images of K-pop stars and facilitated consumption activities of K-pop contents.

The fashion of the 19C had been through many diverse styles, i.e. Empire style, Romantic style, Crinoline style and the Bustle style. These styles had emphasized a certain figures, such as exaggerated hourglass silhouette of crinoline style or S silhouette of bustle style. Following the trends, corsets became more than underwears. Actually they supported the fashion of the 19C. Apparently, the corsets had been evolved in many aspects. Patterns, materials and trimmings were developed and refined to make torso figures desirable. The initial purpose of the research is to find out how they developed corset patterns to make such a diverse figures, so that the techniques can be adopted in contemporary pattern design. The 16 corsets and their patterns were quoted from books related the subject. The patterns were redrawn of same scale for the comparative study concerning cutting lines and measurements. Coming to the late, more curved lines and more segmented cutting were used to make body more of glamour and natural. Gussets were another key technique to make them work. Various sized and shaped gussets were used to follow the trends of ever changing.

This purpose of this study is to research on the influence on the creation of young generation's street fashion of pop stars focused on pop music given the fact that fashion can be created by popular culture in this multi-media era. Also, this study is to provide useful data for the activation of the creation of young fashion culture and the fashion industry through pop stars' fashion. The pop stars' fashion that has affected young street fashion is as follows : Elvis Presley's rock'n'roll style, Beatles' mods style, Janis Joplin's hippy style, Sex Pistols's punk style, Madonna's boy-toy and corset style, Michael Jackson's androgynous style, Puff Daddy and L.L Cool J's hip-hop style, Bob Marley's reggae style, Spice Girls, Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears's sexy style. The young street fashion culture of pop stars and its industrial meaning withdrawn from the above are as follows : Creation of a fashion icon, Creation of anti-fashion, Liberation of a sex role, Costume play culture, Activation of the young fashion industry through star marketing.

The goals of this study are to analyze how fashion professionals' attitudes toward Grunge style have changed since the 1990s and to compare aesthetic features of 1990s Grunge style and the style since 2000. By searching Vogue and Women's Wear Daily articles from 1992 to 2014 according to the keyword "Grunge", three collections from the 1990s and 59 collections since 2000 were selected for analysis. Although Grunge collections of the 1990s were harshly criticized by critics and retailers as ugly, the more recent collections have been highly praised for both design and profitability. The common aesthetic features of Grunge style in the 1990s and beyond include loose silhouettes, mix-and-match layerings, plaid patterns, floral prints, and striped patterns. However, Grunge style since 2000 has new features such as ornate fabrics, handcrafted details, a formal and dressy look, and faux plaid flannel shirts in chiffon or organza. These features give the style a more luxurious, feminine, and refined appearance. The results of this study indicate that Grunge style of the 1990s changed high fashion beauty standards and today's designers and consumers prefer to mix various styles to create new ones. They typically do not consider the original spirit or identities of the varied styles.

The purpose of this study analyzes the basic elements of film acting based on Stanislavsky Circles of Attention. This research also demonstrates the basic elements on how to become a good film actor. I attempt to interpret Stanislavsky Circles of Attention, in order to adapt the size of camera shots and the location of microphones. This Circles of Attention is an effective method utilized for actors to help them understand and be absorbed in the work of art both in film and stage. It is useful for building a character in realism drama as well as in film. I believe Stanislavsky Circles of Attention is certainly the most advanced acting style in film because it proposes the importance of physical action for actors.
