Adaptive-Predictive Controller based on Continuous-Time Poisson-Laguerre Models for Induction Motor Speed Control Improvement

  • Induction Motor (IM) has several desirable features for high performance adjustablespeed operation. This paper presents the design of a robust controller for vector control induction motor drive performances improvement. Proposed predictive speed controller, which is aimed to guarantee the stability of the closed loop, is based on the Poisson-Laguerre (PL) models for the association vector control drive and the induction motor; without necessity of any mechanical parameter, and requires only two control parameters to ensure implicitly the integrator effect on the steady state error, load torque disturbances rejection and anti-windup effect. In order to improve robustness, insensitivity against external disturbances and preserve desired performance, adaptive control is added with the aim to ensure an online identification of controller parameters through an online PL models identification. The proposed control is compared with the conventional approach using PI controller. Simulation with MATLAB/SIMULINK software and experimental results for a 1kW induction motor using a dSPACE system with DS1104 controller board are carried out to show the improvement performance.

회생전력 제어용 인버터 시스템의 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Implementation of Inverter Systems for Regenerated Power Control)

  • 본 논문에서는 직류모선에서 교류모선으로 회생되는 전력을 제어할 수 있는 3상 전압원 인버터 시스템을 구현하였다. 전체 시스템은 선간접압 및 선전류용 센서, d-q 변환방식을 사용한 실제전력 연산기. PI제어기법을 적용한 복소전력 제어기, 수정 q도통방식을 구현하기 위한 게이팅신호 생성기, 주파수를 추종하기 위한 DPLL과 전력회로로 구성된다. 제어보드는 32비트 DSP인 TMS32C32, EFLD 2개, ACD 6개와 DAC로 구성하였다. 제안한 시스템의 성능을 검증하기 위해 교류 220V에서 5kVA 전력용량인 축소모델을 설계, 제작하였다. 실험결과, 회생 유효전력은 명령값으로 잘 제어되며 회생 무효전력은 운전동안 내내 거의 0의 값을 유지함을 확인하였다.

  • 달 탐사에서 발사체 상단은 주로 저궤도에 투입된 탐사선을 38만 km의 거리에 있는 달까지 투입해주는 역할을 한다. 국외의 경우 상단(Upper Stage)은 달 탐사선을 지구-달 전이궤적에 투입 후 탐사선과 분리되고, 달 탐사선은 그 이후 자체 추진제를 이용하여 중간 경로 수정 기동 및 달 궤도 진입을 수행한다. 본 연구는 새롭게 제시되는 소형 액체상단을 기술하였다. 습질량이 총 2.9톤인 액체상단을 이용할 경우 달 탐사선을 지구-달 전이궤적 투입뿐만 아니라 달 궤도 진입까지 수행할 수 있다. 본 연구는 나로 우주센터에서 발사할 경우를 기준으로 허용 가능한 달 탐사선의 질량 범위를 도출하고, 탐사선의 허용 가능한 임무 범위도 다양하게 기술하고자 한다.

디지털 고주파 메모리 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Implementation of Digital Radio Frequency Memory)

  • Digital radio frequency memory (이하 DRFM)은 입력되는 RF신호를 저장 후 필요한 시점에 입력된 RF신호로 복원하여 출력하는 기능을 가진 장치로써 Jammer, EW시뮬레이터, Target Echo Generator[1] 등 사용되는 분야가 광범위하다. 본 논문에서는 고주파 입/출력모듈, 국부 발진모듈로 구성된 고주파부와 디지털 처리부로 이루어진 DRFM의 하드웨어적 구현 방안을 제안한다. 그리고 펄스형태의 RF신호를 양자화하는 ADC(A/D conversion), 이 데이터를 저장하고 재생신호를 생산하는 FPGA와 RF 신호를 생산하는 DAC(D/A conversion)로 구성되는 디지털 처리부에서 복제된 신호 생성방안을 제안한다. 이렇게 제안된 방안을 적용하여 제작한 후 모의 신호를 입력하여 얻은 시험결과를 통하여 이 제안방안의 타당성을 확인한다.

실내 비행용 소형 충돌회피 멀티콥터 시스템 개발 (Development of small multi-copter system for indoor collision avoidance flight)

  • 최근 멀티콥터는 비행 안정성 향상을 위해 다양한 충돌회피 센서를 탑재하고 있다. LiDAR를 이용해 3차원 위치를 인식하거나 다수 카메라와 실시간 SLAM 기술을 이용해 장애물과의 상대 위치를 계산하기도 한다. 또한 소형 프로세스와 카메라로 구성된 3D 깊이 센서를 사용하기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 충돌회피 소프트웨어 기술 개발을 위한 플랫폼으로써 상용 부품을 활용해 실내 비행이 가능한 소형 충돌회피 멀티콥터 시스템을 개발하였다. 멀티콥터 시스템은 LiDAR, RealSense, GPU 보드를 탑재하였고, 비행시험을 통해 YOLO 알고리즘 기반의 사물 인식 및 충돌회피 기능을 검증하였다. 이 논문에서는 시스템 설계/제작 및 탑재 장비 선정과정, 비행시험 결과에 관해 기술하였다.

Hygroscopic Properties of Light-Frame Wall with Different Assemblies

  • On purpose to reduce accumulated moisture and to prevent moisture condensation in a light-frame wall, thermal characteristics and moisture behaviors were investigated for four different wall assemblies; a) typical wall, b) addition of vapor retarder between the insulation and the gypsum board, c) addition of air gap for natural ventilation behind the siding, d) composition with b) and c). Each wall was tested under two climate conditions; 1) $20^{\circ}C$, 50% RH (indoor) and $30^{\circ}C$, 85% RH (outdoor), 2) $30^{\circ}C$, 85% RH (indoor) and $20^{\circ}C$, 50% RH (outdoor).The results showed that the typical wall assembly had poor resistance against moisture intrusion from the inside of building. Outdoor and indoor humidity caused the moisture condensations on the inside of the siding and the back surface of the sheathing respectively. The addition of a vapor retarder did not give significant improvement in preventing the moisture intrusion.

A PANORAMIC VIEW OF THE ASTEROIDS IN THE INNER SOLAR SYSTEM WITH AKARI

  • We constructed an unbiased asteroid catalog from the mid-infrared part of the All-Sky Survey with the Infrared Camera (IRC) on board AKARI. About 20% of the point source events recorded in the IRC All-Sky Survey observations were not used for the IRC Point Source Catalog in its production process because of a lack of multiple detection by position. Asteroids, which are moving objects on the celestial sphere, are included in these "residual events" We identified asteroids out of the residual events by matching them with the positions of known asteroids. For the identified asteroids, we calculated the size and albedo based on the Standard Thermal Model. Finally we had a new brand of asteroid catalog, which contains 5,120 objects, about twice as many as the IRAS asteroid catalog.

Duct ANC 시스템에서 2차음원 방향별 소음감소효과 (An attenuation effect of noise according to the direction of secondary sound source in duct ANC system)

  • In this paper, we studied on an attenuation effect of automobile exhaust noise according to the direction of secondary sound source in duct ANC system. Automobile exhaust noise was recorded at 800rpm. 3500rpm and 5000rpm of a diesel engine. Directions of loudspeaker(second sound source) can be exchanged to $30^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$ and $150^{\circ}$ against the primary noise flow by acrylic ducts to be made for experimentation. DSP board with TMS320C6416 chip of Texas Instrument Co used to control adaptive ANC system. This ANC system is based on the single-channel FxLMS algorithm. In experiment result, when the loud speaker direction was $150^{\circ}$, the attenuation effect showed largely. In case of $90^{\circ}$ duct, the noise was a little increased. In case of $30^{\circ}$ duct, the noise was a little increased or decreased according to the frequency range and the sound pressure(dB) of exhaust noise to comply with engine rpm.

  • This paper is to investigate a defect for thermal barrier coating layers by acoustic emission method in 4-point bending test. The two-layer thermal barrier coating is composed of $150\mu{m}\;CoNiCrAlY\;bond\;coating\;by\;vacuum\;plasma\;spray(VPS)\;process\;and\;250\mu{m}\;ZrO_2-8wt%Y_2O_3$ ceramic coating layer by air plasma spray(APS) process on Inconel-718. The specimen prepared by cyclic thermal test(500, 1000, 2000cycle) at $1050^{\circ}C$ The AE monitoring system is composed of PICO type sensor, a wide band pre-amplifier(40dB), PC and AE DSP(16/32 PAC) board. The AE event, amplitude, Cumulative energy and count of coating specimens is evaluated according to cyclic thermal test.

RAINFALL ESTIMATION OVER THE TAIWAN ISLAND FROM TRMM/TMI DATA DURING THE TYPHOON SEASON

  • A new algorithm for satellite microwave rainfall retrievals over the land of Taiwan using TMI (TRMM Microwave Imager) data on board TRMM (Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission) satellite is described in this study. The scattering index method (Grody, 1991) was accepted to develop a rainfall estimation algorithm and the measurements from Automatic Rainfall and Meteorological Telemetry System (ARMTS) were employed to evaluate the satellite rainfall retrievals. Based on the standard products of 2A25 derived from TRMM/PR data, the rainfall areas over Taiwan were divided into convective rainfall area and stratiform rainfall areas with/without bright band. The results of rainfall estimation from the division of rain type are compared with those without the division of rain type. It is shown that the mean rainfall difference for the convective rain type is reduced from -6.2mm/hr to 1.7mm/hr and for the stratiform rain type with bright band is decreased from 10.7 mm/hr to 2.1mm/hr. But it seems not significant improvement for the stratiform rain type without bright band.
