In this study, mesoporous titania/alumina membranes were prepared by sol-gel method. Pore structure and phase composition of titania/alumina membranes could be changed by calcination temperature. The addition of alumina into titania membranes retarded anatase-to-rutile phase transformation, resulting in stabilization of pore structures. The 5 time dip-coated membrane calcined at $450^{\circ}C$ is about $10.3{\mu}m$ in thickness with an average pore size of 5 nm. Hydrogen and nitrogen permeances through the membrane were $17.1{\times}10^{-7}mol/m^2{\cdot}s{\cdot}Pa$ and $4.7{\times}10^{-7}mol/m^2{\cdot}s{\cdot}Pa$, respectively. These data were explained by the Knudsen diffusion mechanism.

The structures of these compounds were identified based on the spectral and physicochemical data.

The molecular and crystal structure of Tricyclazole, C/sub9/H/sub7/N₃S, has been determined by single crystal x-ray diffraction study. Crystallographic data for title compound: Pca2₁, a=14.889(1) Å, b=7.444(1) Å, c=15.189(2) Å, V=1683.3(3) ų, Z= 8. The molecular structure model was solved by direct methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares. The final reliable factor, R, is 0.047 for 1533 independent reflections (F/sub o//sup 2/)). The asymmetry unit contains two molecules which are in plate conformation, parallel to each other and related by a pseudo four-fold screw on the b-direction.
An understanding of store patronage behavior is a critical issue for retail managers, especially when it comes to a new kind of retail store, as it enables them to identify and target potential customers. Reflecting this managerial need, this study is focused on the fashion multi-brand shop, specifically investigating its store attributes, customers' shopping orientation, and store patronage. Accepting the shifting marketing paradigm from 4P's marketing mix to 7P's marketing mix, the 7P's marketing mix is employed in this study to measure the store attributes, including people(sales oriented and customer oriented), price, place, promotion, physical environment, process, and product. The store attributes significantly influencing patronization are found as customer oriented sales people, product, physical environment, and process. The shopping orientations of the customers, 222 female adults aged from 20s to 40s are found as ostentatious, pleasant, fashion pursuant, rational, and addictive. The consumers who are ostentatious, pleasant, and fashion pursuant are highly likely to be patronize to the fashion multi-brand shops.
In order to investigate the velocity structure of the southern part of the Korean peninsula, exploded seismic signals were recorded for 120 s along a 294-km WNW-ESE line and 150 s along a 335-km NNW-SSE line in 2002 and 2004, respectively. Velocity tomograms were derived from inverting P-wave and S-wave first arrival times. The raypaths indicate several midcrust interfaces. The shallowest one is at the approximate depth of $2{\sim}3\;km$ with refraction velocities of approximately Vp=6.0 and Vs=3.5 km/s, respectively. The second one of $15{\sim}17\;km$ depth has refraction velocities of approximately Vp=7.1 and Vs=3.7 km/s, respectively. The deepest significant interface varies in depth from 30.8 km to 36.1 km. The critically refracting Vp of $7.8{\sim}8.1\;km/s$ and Vs of $4.2{\sim}4.6\;km/s$ along this interface which may correspond to the Moho discontinuity. The velocity tomograms show (1) existence of a low-velocity zone centered at $6{\sim}7\;km$ depth under the Okchon fold belt and the Yeongnam massif, (2) extension of the Yeongdon fault down to greater than 10 km, and (3) existence of high-velocity materials under the Gyeongsan basin less than 4.2 km thick.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data on hepatitis B infection control in the community through the results of the hepatitis B surface antigen and antibody tests conducted at the Cheongyang-County Health Medical Center. From 2012 to 2020, we retrospectively analyzed the HBsAg, HBsAb, HBeAg, HBeAb, and HBV DNA results of 7,329 hepatitis B-related testers. Among 7,329 subjects, the HBsAg positivity rate was 1.7%, and the positivity rate according to age was the highest at 4.4% in their 30s, 4.2% in their 40s, 4.1% in their 50s, 2.0% in their 60s, 1.9% in their 70s and over, and 10 it was shown in the order of 0.3% from less than large. The HBsAb positivity rate was 43.1% for men, 38.2% for men, and 46.7% for women (P<0.001). To summarize the above results, for infection control of hepatitis B in Cheongyang-County, hepatitis surface antigen proton management is required for those in their 30s or older, and it is thought that efforts to acquire immunity are necessary for those in their 20s or younger.
The structures of flavonoids, 2(S)-5,7-dihydroxy-8,2'-dimethoxyflavanone (1), wogonin (2), 2(S)-5,7, 2'-trihydroxy-8-methoxyflavanone (3), and 2(S)-5,2',5'-trihydroxy-7,8-dimethoxyflavanone (4), isolated from Scutellaria indica were revised on the basis of 2D NMR spectroscopy, including to gCOSY, gHSQC, and gHMBC. Compounds 1-4 were tested in vitro protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) inhibitory activity. Compounds 2 and 4 exhibited weak PTP1B inhibitory activity with $IC_{50}$ values of 208 and $337{\mu}M$, respectively.
Starting with the readily available p-tert-butyl-calix[4]arene 2, tert-butyl groups are removed by $AlCl_3$-catalyzed de-alkylation reaction, and the calix[4]arene 3 formed is converted to the tetraacetate 4. This compound undergoes Fries rearrangement to yield p-acetylcalix[4]arene 6, which seems to be an attractive starting material for the introduction of functional groups. As a preliminary experiment p-(1-hydroxyethyl)calix[4]arene 7 is prepared by LiAlH$_4$ reduction of 6.

In the screening of tropical medicinal plants using PAE receptor binding assay, the ether extract of Ardisia crispa showed the potent antagonistic activity. Ardisia crispa have been used to heal the scurf, earache, orchitis, fever and diarrhoea, cough and given to the mother after childbirth to ‘wash out dirty blood’ in Malaysia. By means of activity guided isolation, compound AC7-1 was isolated as the potent PAF antagonist. In this study, antiplatelet effects of compound AC7-1 were examined in vitro platelet aggregation assay using the chronolog aggregometer. Compound AC7-1 inhibited PAF-, collagen-, ADP-, thrombin-induced platelet aggregation in human, rabbit and rat platelet rich plasma. In vitro rabbit platelet aggregation, the IC$\_$50/ value of compound AC7-1 was 5 ${\times}$ 10$\^$-6/ M against PAF(5 ${\times}$ 10$\^$-7/M)-induced aggregation. The IC$\_$50/ values of AC7-1 on PAF-induced platelet aggregation increased with increase of the concentration of PAF used. This result suggested the competitive nature of the AC7-1 antagonism. In vitro rat platelet aggregation, the IC$\_$50/ values of AC7-1 on collagen-, ADP-induced platelet aggregation were 4 ${\times}$ 10$\^$-6/ M, 2 ${\times}$ 10$\^$-5/ M, respectively. Also in vitro human platelet aggregation, AC7-1 potently inhibited both the primary phase and secondary phase of thrombin-induced aggregation.
