This paper presents an algorithm simplifying the ESOP function by several rules. The algorithm is repeatedly performing operations based on the state of each terms by the product transformation operation of two functions and thus it is simplifying the ESOP function through the reduction of the product terms. Through the minimization of the product terms of the multi-valued input binary multi-output function, an optimization of the input has been done using EXOR PLA with input decoder. The algorithm when applied to four valued arithmetic circuit has been used for a EXOR logic circuit design and the two bits input decoder has been used for a EXOR-PLA design. It has been found from a computer simulation(IBM PC486) that the suggested algorithm can reduce the product terms of the output function remarkably regardless of the number of input variables when the variable AND-EXOR PLA is applied to the poperation circuit.

Laboratory information system (LIS) is a key tool to manage laboratory data in clinical pathology. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16 MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with two complete blood count analyzers (Sysmex WE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data transmission from analyzer to computer. The authors suggests that this system based on down-sized computer could provide a progressive approach to total LIS based on local area network, and the implemented system could serve as a model for other hospital's LIS for routine hematology.

We are developed out-patient order communication system using server/client architecture. We used Microsoft SQL server for relational database and Visual basic language for client. The configuration of system hardware is 486 DX servers and 200 node 486/SX PC and 10 base T network.

본 논문에서는 PC 또는 mobile phone에서 web server로 접속하여 모형 자동차를 무선 환경에서 원격으로 제어하는 기능을 Linux 기반의 embedded system을 이용하여 구현하였다. 본 system에는 IIS(Internet Information Service) 와 LODEK embedded system 및 ASP(Active Server Pages) 가 사용 되었으며 motor 제어 회로가 구현되었다.

A medical image workstation was developed using multimedia technique. The system based on PC-486DX was designed to acquire medical images produced by medical imaging instruments and related audio information, that is, doctors' reporting results. Input information was processed and analyzed, then the results were presented in the form of graph and animation. All the informations of the system were hierarchically related with the image as the apex. Processing and analysis algorithms were implemented so that the diagnostic accuracy could be improved. The diagnosed information can be transferred for patient diagnosis through LAN(local area network).

멱산연산 알고리듬에는 사전계산없이 g와 n이 주어지면$g_n$ 대해 서전 계산을 하여 그 결과를 메모리에 저장하여 두고 n이 주어지면$g_n$을 계산하는 알고리듬이 있다. Binary method, window method등의 알고리듬은 전자에 해당하는 것이고 BGMW method와 LL method등은 후자에 해당하는 것이다. 이러한 멱승연산 알고리듬을 PC486과 586에서 C언어로 구현하여 그 결과를 비교 분석하였다.

In this paper, a direct drive scalar robot manipulator is constructed and its mechanical machanism for operation is explained. Also, a motion controller board for the direct drive robot manipulator was developed where the IBM 486 computer is the main controller. For the developed direct drive robot, a force/motion control algorithm based on an active compliance scheme is developed. A preliminary experiment using the developed direct drive for a peg-in-hole job was done by implementing the control algorithm.

기존의 SVG 파일은 모바일 디바이스에 맞추어 제작하더라도, 디바이스에 따라 사이즈 조절이 되지 않아, 이미지가 전체적으로 보여지지 않는다. 그래서 각 SVG 파일을 해당 디바이스의 디스플레이에 맞춰서 다시 제작해야하는 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 위의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 SVG Trans-Gateway를 제안한다. 이 SVC Trans-Gateway는 모바일 디바이스 기준으로 데스크탑 PC에서 제작된 SVG 파일을 요청하는 해당 디바이스의 정보를 분석하여, 각 디바이스의 디스플레이에 맞추어 변환해주는 게이트웨이 이다. 그래서 이 시스템은 각 디바이스의 화면 해상도에 따라, 동일한 SVG 파일을 변환해주는 기능을 수행한다.

무선 인터넷은 현재까지는 주식. 연예뉴스 등 간단한 정보 서비스에 머물고 있지만, 곧 E-Commerce의 대표적인 거래 형태가 무선 인터넷의 영역으로 확장될 것이라 예상된다. 그러나 국ㆍ내의 무선 통신 업체들은 상품 정보를 활용하지 못하고, 별도의 무선 사이트를 구축하여 서비스하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷상의 상품정보를 모바일 폰상에 효과적으로 디스플레이하는 방법을 고려한다. 먼저. 모바일 폰은 데스크탑 PC에 비하여 처리능력이 상대적으로 크게 떨어진다는 사실을 고려하여, 모바일 폰상에서 XML 상품 정보에 대한 객체를 구성하는 여러 가지 방법들을 제시한다. 다음에, 제안된 방법들을 모바일 폰의 응답시간과 메모리 사용량의 관점에서 실험을 통해서 비교, 분석한다.

본 논문에서는 윈도우즈용 음성인식 software "voice access"를 개발하여 연구한 실시간 음성검출 알고리즘에 관해 소개한다. 이 음성검출 알고리즘은 200 sample 단위의 프레임 에너지, 프레임 영교차율, 음성의 길이를 음성검출의 파라메타로 사용한다. 각 파라메타의 문턱값은 신호의 평균값, 잡음의 표준편차, 미디안 표준편차와 한국어의 음성적 특성을 고려하여 설정하였으며 주변의 환경에 적응해 가며 문턱값을 조정하므로 주변 잡음환경의 변화에 대해서도 강인한 음성검출 결과를 보여준다. 또한 실시간으로 음성을 검출하므로 실용성이 높다. 음성의 검출은 일반사운드 카드를 통해 16-bit의 8KHz로 샘플링된 신호를 사용한다. 음성검출을 위한 분석은 200 sample 씩 하고 100 sample 씩 overlap 하면서 수행한다. 음성검출을 위한 모든 분석은 특별한 DSP의 도움없이 486D 이상에서 실시간으로 구현했다.시간으로 구현했다.
