This study was to find out contemporary planning trends of rural houses in Na-po Munhwa village by analyzing their floor plan shapes and space relations & elements. There were built 240 houses in that village, but it were possible to collect housing data, floor plans & general building records of 120 houses, from house register. By analyzing those data, findings were as follows : 1) Floor plan shapes of rural houses had a tendency to 'ㅋ' shape type than simple box or transformed box types, and Room-Living-Room arrangement of centered living were very strong trends in those plans. 2) Public spaces, L.D.K
The study is to identify the status of the ward of public hospital for integrated nursing care service. Integrated nursing service has expanded nationwide from 2016 but 10 out of 34 public hospitals are currently unable to operate as nurses due to the shortage. Analyze each floor plan and space program of ward and provide the basic data for the construction of the architecture plans for Integrated nursing care service. For this study, selecting 14 wards of public hospital in Korea and then analyzes space organization, distance from NS to bedroom and NS to core(Elevator) and spatial hierarchy of them. Among the 14 public hospitals, there are 7 types of double-loaded corridor, 4 types of double corridor and 3 types of single corridor. If NS is placed centrally, the control of the outsider and the patient's control would be efficient, but most of NS are lean on one side of floor. the placement of NS should be independent of individual arrangements, but it should be smooth alignment with patient spaces, staff spaces, and public spaces. This study could serve as basic research for the architectural plan for future integrated nursing care in ward of public hospital.
Bed for elderly and disabled, including the United States developed the industry Americas, and European countries, mainly in the production of products has dominated the world market. Due to the increase in elderly population Elderly Hospital, which is installed in the elderly silver town Edition requires the dissemination of the mattress in the bedroom several times a day resting and sleeping, eating, etc. Designing a variety of actions are needed. Edition of the elderly in Korea developed the design of bed with bed design and the manufacturer and the Institute for Ergonomics, welfare agencies and to build organic cooperation system under the direction of a professional designer to develop and you need to configure the space and the results of such actions by the distribution of cheap materials, ergonomic mattress for optimal development of behavior analysis to the need to promote the convenience of the user.
This study was intended to grasp the research trends related to the spatial composition of nursing homes. The 43 research papers were collected and analyzed. They were analyzed to focus on the research methodology and research contents related to the spatial composition of nursing home. The researches on spatial composition of nursing home were categorized into 5 types ; 1) the researches on the overall spatial composition of nursing homes, 2) the ones on space planning of each room in nursing homes, 3) the ones on the space size of nursing home, 4) the ones on the spatial composition of nursing homes in foreign countries, 5) the ones on the usage conversion of small-sized hospital and closed school into nursing home. The size and layout of a bedroom and common space were the main issue. These studies have been consistently carried out since late 1990 and many researches used the method of the analysis of floor plan and the field study. However, the number of the subject nursing homes and the categorized space areas were different depending on studies. Therefore, it was difficult to synthesize these various results. In order to compare and synthesizing the various results of these many studies, the same criteria for dividing the spaces of nursing home needs to be applied. However, many results from these researches related to the space composition of nursing home would be the useful data for planning the nursing home.
Korea Furniture design development process is repeated a number of changes by the change of residence and type of market demand derived from the process of industrialization. The modernization process of industrialization advances by large-scale population moves to the city to urbanization proceeds rapidly. Housing problems are concentrated in cities and sparked the furniture industry, furniture design by changes in marketing concepts that appear in the industrialization phase, growth must necessarily accommodate the needs of consumers. Including kitchen furniture, living room furniture and master bedroom furniture has been sensitively adapted changes in the structure of these houses, particularly structural changes Apartments. The purpose of this research is to explore the best examples from Japan to derive spatial and institutional characteristics. This study used the field survey method for 6 elderly welfare facilities in Japan. The characteristics of local friendly facility are as follows; First of all, since elderly care facilities in South Korea are separated from local community and facility plans are large-scaled and unified which are disconnected from local area, this research set aging in community, multi-function, diversity, and intergeneration into the concept that is necessary for local friendly facilities. Secondly, residential environment plan's basic directions are 1) plan that minimizes facilities-like atmosphere, 2) spatial plan that focuses on the elderly dignity and privacy, 3) comfortable and enjoyable communal living space plan, 4) local friendly and communicating plan, 5)plan that minimizes staff's care giving burden. The purpose of this study is to analyze the typological characteristics of super high-rise housings in Hong Kong. The results are as follows; 1) The Plan types of the residential building in Hong Kong are mostly tower types and they show lots of curves on the external resident blocks so each resident families can face maximum open air. 2)Household arrangements or resident families form are shown as symmetrical and systematic type of structures that centers around the core. 3)The core types are mostly central core types and a portion of central core is planned to place void and alight garden for improving the lighting and ventilating problems. 4)If we review our room arrangements, they are arranged from entrance kitchen, livingroom bedroom to bathroom to the end. Livingrooms and dinning rooms are normally formed together. 5)If external resident blocks are facing the open air, one of the surface is on view axis, kitchen or bathroom are symmetrically located on the other side which faces the units for the purpose of ventilating.

This study is to analyze women's power in family to be related to Anbang, kitchen, dining room, and utility room planning in a unit plan of condominium apartment housing in rural area Data were collected 194 unit plans from 9 eastern regions of Kungi-Do. The results are as followed: 1) Anbang reflects the women's power on changing its space character into mater bedroom, the highest hierarchy in private zone, and planning a dress room in it. 2) Dining room and kitchen is openly centered on the unit plan, but kitchen is still only women's working space for family and agriculture depended on literature review. Dining space is not activated family interaction, so it is not different from urban apartment housing. However, its location and character are changed, and its hierarchy is relatively higher with women. Dining room and kitchen tend to plan visually separated after 2001, so its trend seems to establish women's territory at home. 3) Whole family can't be easy to access utility and back balcony close to kitchen, and these spaces are functionally separated for women's house work. This design trend seems to establish for women's area. 4) Finally, women's power seems to be effective in house working area including kitchen space depended on results. Also, these results from rural condominium apartment are similar to urban ones in previous study.

This paper compared vertical temperature distribution between the existing balcony model without ventilator facilities and the improved balcony model with ventilator facilities using differential equation. As the air inside of balcony is heated by solar radiation this heated air is not exhausted in the existing balcony, remaining stagnant. The air temperature distribution was $26.7{\sim}29.3^{\circ}C$ in balcony without natural ventilator system. This heated air affected the rising air temperature of adjacent spaces such as living room and bedroom in the existing balcony. But, as the heated air inside of the improved balcony model is exhausted through natural ventilator facilities in summer, the air temperature in balcony has fallen. The air temperature distribution in improved balcony was $24.8{\sim}26.7^{\circ}C$ for the inlet air speed of 1 m/s and $24.6{\sim}26.7^{\circ}C$ for the inlet air speed of 3 m/s. The energy consumption of the improved balcony is 2.5 times less than of the existing balcony. The improved balcony with the closed damper makes a roll as the existing balcony in the aspect of the heating effect. When the heated air in the improved balcony is supplied, the air temperature is raised and the ventilation effect in adjacent spaces was improved.
