알지네이트를 이용한 체표면적 측정방법과 삼차원 스캐닝에 의한 체표면적 측정방법의 비교 (Comparison between Alginate Method and 3D Whole Body Scanning in Measuring Body Surface Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare two methods of measuring body surface area (BSA). The BSA of Korean adults was measured using both three-dimensional (3D) scanning and an alginate method. Two males (one overweight and one lean) and one overweight female participated as subjects. The results were as follows: First, the 3D scanned BSA of all three subjects was smaller than the BSA measured using the alginate method by as much as $6-14\%$. The difference in methods was greater in the overweight participants than in the lean subject. Second, the results comparing the BSA obtained using these two methods and the BSA estimated by 10 previously developed formulas, showed that the 3D scanned BSA was the smallest among the 12 BSAs. Third, in comparing the regional differences between these two methods, the regional BSA of the lean subject (male 2) did not show any significant difference, but the overweight subjects (male 1, female 1) showed a significant difference. Forth, the biggest difference in regional BSA obtained through these two methods was in the hand, for all three subjects. The 3D scanned hand surface area was smaller than the hand surface area measured by the alginate method by as much as $24-34\%$. Fifth, in the percentage of regional BSA, there was no significant difference in these two methods. The reasons for the underestimation in the 3D scanning might be because: 1) the 3D scanner can not recognize the folding and shading of body parts, such as the finger, toe, ear, armpit, crotch and breast, 2) 3D patching and smoothing processes depend on researchers. However, the 3D scanning method is applicable to the estimation of the entire BSA, if the surface area of the hands is known, and the participant is not overweight.

  • 본 연구에서는 기성복의 맞음새와 치수체계에 따른 문제점을 제시하기 위하여 현재 시판되고 있는 여성복 재킷을 중심으로 사이즈별 각 패턴의 치수 및 공극량 분석을 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 재킷에 대한 관능검사(self sensory test)결과, 패턴 B의 점수가 가장 낮았으며, 동일한 사이즈의 의복임에도 불구하고 재킷의 착용감은 유의적인 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 패턴 계측 결과 각 브랜드간의 패턴 그레이딩 량은 차이를 나타내어 동일한 사이즈임에도 불구하고 여유량이 서로 다르게 나타났으며, 수직방향보다는 수평방향의 증가량이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 3. 3D scanner를 이용하여 인체 및 착의인체를 스캔한 결과, 3차원 입체 형상으로 의복의 착의상태를 볼수 있으므로 2차원 정보를 얻을수 있는 사진촬영 결과에 비하여 활용성이 높으며 촬영거리에 따른 피사체의 왜곡이 없으므로 정확도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 4. 패턴별 평균공극길이에 대한 유의성 검증 결과, B88사이즈의 허리부위를 제외한 모든 부위에서 유의성이 인정되지 않았으며 사이즈별 평균공극길이에 대한 유의성 검증결과에서는 품, 배, 엉덩이부위에서 유의성이 인정되어 사이즈가 커질수록 이들 부분의 여유량 설정에 신중을 기하여야한다.

A Comprehensive Approach to Pattern Drafting for Women with Large Bust Cup Sizes through Advanced 3D Virtual Clothing Systems

  • This study presents a pattern drafting method for designing a slim-fit blouse for women in their twenties with a D cup bra size and various bust sizes within the standard body type range using the 3D virtual clothing system. Three participants were scanned using a body scanner, and three similar princess blouse patterns were selected. A total of nine virtual blouses were produced, with three sets made for each participant. In the initial evaluations, Pattern C received the highest score. The second pattern was designed by mending the flaws in Pattern C. However, in the eases of the front and back busts, back width and back waist were still insufficient and sleeve length was short. In the similarity evaluation between virtual and real blouses, the overall appearance was similar. Most of the corrected elements received significantly higher ratings in the third real blouse. However, the ease of the rear bust area was slightly large. In general, when drafting blouse patterns for women with large bust sizes, it is essential to increase the ease in the front bust, reduce the ease in the back bust, enlarge the waist dart, and decrease the armhole depth.

3D Scanner를 이용한 여성용 기성복 재킷의 착의적합성에 관한 비교평가연구 (A Study on the Comparative Evaluation of wearing Fitness of Women′s Ready-made Jackets Using 3D Scanner)

  • 본 연구 목적은 3차원 인체 스캐너를 이용하여 여자 기성복 재킷의 여유량을 비교, 분석하는 것으로, 2사이즈 7브랜드의 재킷의 공극량을 계측하여 분석하였다. 첫째, 재킷 단면둘레 분석 결과, B85(품), B8(허리)를 제외하고 브랜드간에 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않아, 전반적으로, 브랜드간 제품치수에는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인체와 재킷의 단면둘레 분석 결과, 재킷의 배둘레를 제외한 모든 항목에서 유의한 차이가 나타나 피험자, 재킷 모두 사이즈에 따라 유의적인 차이 가 있음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 기본사이즈 B85에서는 허리를 제외하고는 패턴 F가 가장 여유량이 많은 것으로 나타났으나, B88의 경우, 부위별로 각기 다른 패턴에서 여유량이 가장 많은 것으로 나타나, 각 부분마다 브랜드별로 그레이딩 룰이 다름을 알 수 있다. 넷째, 착의 단면은 인체와 의복간의 여유량 분포를 명백히 보여주며, 어깨, 가슴, 엉덩이처럼 몸에 밀착되는 부위는 다른 부위에 비해 패턴간, 각도별 변이가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 품, 허리, 배에서는 옆보다는 앞, 뒤로, 가슴에서는 앞뒤 좌우의 30$^{\circ}$방향, 엉덩이의 경우, 옆, 뒤보다는 앞쪽에 여유량이 집중되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 브랜드별 평균공극길이에 대한 분산분석 결과, 전반적으로 패턴 F가 가장 공극량이 많고, 패턴 D가 작은 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 사이즈별 평균공극길이에 대한 t-검정 결과, 품과 배 부분에서, B88이 B85보다 공극량이 적은 것으로 나타나, 기준부위인 가슴, 허리, 엉덩이 부분뿐만 아니라 품, 배둘레의 치수에 대응할 수 있도록 그레이딩 룰 값을 산정하여야 함을 알 수 있다.

  • The latest trends of vehicle technology development are fuel efficiency improvement, body designs declining air resistance and lightweight of materials. Especially, as lightened weight of materials makes engine efficient so that vehicles keep the best performance, it is the best way to protect the environment and reduce fuel consumption. In this study, we conducted laser welding by using 3-dimension remote scanner that is 5J32 aluminium alloy. Furthermore, conduction experiment that was 3 times repeated for changing factors such as observing angle, laser power and welding speed. we observed exterior and cross section of weled part and tensile strength. When increasing laser power and decreasing laser speed, tensile strength increased. In order to evaluate factors that affect tensile strength qualitatively we conducted ANOVA. We assumed that the factors are observing angle, laser power and welding speed. Then we found that laser power and laser speed affect tensile strength. We conducted evaluation of weldability of aluminium alloy by above ways.

  • 3D facial scanner for an accurate analysis is measured precisely a distance in straight, a distance in curved line, an angle in 3D data, the area of surface. We can easy acquire 3D data by the method of 0.8sec in each scan with easy handling, simple merge to whole face, harmless and fast process. In the HyungSang medicine, the inspection of the facial shape includes the Dam(gall bladder) - Bang Kwang(urinary bladder) body, the Jung${\cdot}$Gi${\cdot}$Shin${\cdot}$Hyul, the six merdian types etc. And we will collect the evidence based date verifing in the HyungSang clinical medicine. As we will analyze the facial whole form and the size${\cdot}$length${\cdot}$angle of the facial part, put the facial form's standardization on a solid foundation.

  • In the field of Virtual Reality, many studies have been reported. Especially, there are many studies on generating virtual creatures on computer systems. In this paper we propose an algorithm to automatically generate 3D fish models from 2D images which are printed in illustrated books, pictures or handwritings. At first, 2D fish images are captured by means of image scanner. Next, the fish image is separated from background and segmented to several parts such as body, anal fin, dorsal fin, ectoral fin and ventral fin using the proposed method“Active Balloon model”. After that, users choose front view model and top view model among six samples, respectively. 3D model is automatically generated from separated body, fins and the above two view models. The number of patches is decreased without any influence on the accuracy of the generated 3D model to reduce the time cost when texture mapping is applied. Finally, we can get any kinds of 3D fish models.

  • SPECT camera와 PET scanner 그리고 PET/CT 장치는 감마선을 검출하여 얻어진 자료(data)를 정보화 한다. 특히 PET/CT 장치는 PET영상에서 나타나는 해부학적 불선예함을 CT로 보완하여 선예한 해부학적 구조의 영상 묘출능력이 뛰어나 양질의 진단정보를 제공하고 있게 되었다. 신속 정확한 자료의 획득과 정보화를 위하여 우선적으로 검출기(detector)에서의 효율적인 감마선검출은 매우 예민하고 중요한 역할 중의 하나이다. 섬광체(scintillator)의 개발과 함께 data 처리를 위한 software의 발전은 영상재구성처리시간의 단축은 물론 영상의 질적인 향상을 초래하였다. PET scanner에서는 SPECT camera의 $100{\sim}200\;keV$와는 달리 511 keV의 고에너지 감마선을 검출한다. 섬광체 GSO, LSO는 PET scanner의 섬광체로 비교적 많이 이용되고 있다. 고에너지 감마선에너지를 빛으로 전환하여 여러 단계를 거쳐 정보화하는 과정은 결과적으로 고화질의 영상을 비롯한 정확하고 신속한 진단정보획득에 목적을 두고 있다. 화질의 질적향상은 획득한 정보량에 대한 영상의 재구성 방법과 기술에 따라 영향을 받는다. 본 연구는 PET/CT 장치에서 특히 PET부분에서 섬광체(scintillator)의 특성과 감마선의 검출과정에서부터 영상 재구성단계까지 문헌적 고찰을 통하여 요약 설명하였다.

A Study on Changes to the Upper Body Shape of Elderly Japanese Women -Analysis of the Transverse Plane by Age Group-

  • This study determined how the upper body shape of elderly women changes with age in order to improve the fit of clothing worn by elderly women. Thirty-nine healthy elderly Japanese women had their body measurements taken by measuring tape and a 3D body line scanner (Hamamatsu Model #C9036-02) from December 2011 to March 2012 at a university in Tokyo. It was found that the shoulder line shortens in women between the ages of 70 and 74, but that the upper arm lengthens in women between the ages of 75 and 79. It was also found that the upper part of the scapular area rolls forward in women between the ages of 70 and 74, and that the point of the back which protrudes the most-the lower scapular area-rolls forward in women between the ages of 75 and 79. The results will be helpful for designing clothes for elderly women as their body shape changes with age.

3차원 인체형상자료를 이용한 겨드랑둘레선의 형태특성 및 유형 (Characteristics and Classification of Armscye Circumference using 3D Scan Data)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of armscye circumference which will be used to develop total contents for the apparel industry. The subjects of this study were 16- to 49-year-old women whose 3D body shape data were analyzed. 72 length and length-ratio measurements were taken to each subject' armscye circumference. The used analysis methods are descriptive statistics, principal component analysis, and cluster analysis. The results are follows; 1. Considering the Length of armscye circumference, the result of principal component analysis were extracted 3 factors and those factors comprised 95% of total variance. As the result of the cluster analysis of factor scores, subjects were classified into 4 cluster by their size characteristic. 2. Considering the length-ratio of armscye circumference, the result of principal component analysis were extracted 5 factors and those factors comprised 96.45% of total variance. As the result of the cluster analysis of factor scores, subjects were classified into 5 cluster by their shape characteristic. So that, this research could be useful to manufacture garment which reflected 3D body figure and improved fitting.
