참깨 시들음병(病) 발병(發病)과 재배기간중(栽培期間中) 온도(溫度)와의 관계(關係) (Incidence of Fusarium Wilt of Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) in Relation to Air Temperature)

  • 참깨 시들음병(病) 발병환경(發病環境)을 구명(究明)하기 위하여 1983년(年)과 1985년(年) 2 개년간(個年間) $2{\sim}3$년(年) 참깨 연작포장(連作圃場)에서 광산깨를 4월(月) 20일(日) 외(外) 5시기(時期) 직파재배(直播栽培)하여 파종시기(播種時期)에 따른 발병정도(發病程度)와 발병환경(發病環境) 요인중(要因)中 온도(溫度)와의 관계(關係)를 비교검토(比較檢討)하여 얻어진 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 참깨 생육(生育)에 부적당(不適當)한 $16{\sim}20^{\circ}C$의 비교적(比較的) 저온조건하(低溫條件下)에서 재배기간(栽培期間)이 55일(日) 경과(經過)된 구(區)에서 2개년(個年) 평균발병률(平均發病率) 83.7%, 40일(日)이 경과(經過)한 파종구(播種區)는 68.2%, 25일(日)이 경과(經過)한 파종구(播種區)는 59.4%로 저온(低溫)에 오래 재배(栽培)된 것일수록 발병(發病)이 심(甚)하였다. 2. 비교적(比較的) 고온(高溫)인 $20{\sim}25^{\circ}C$에 파종(播種), 재배(栽培)한 구(區)에서는 3% 미만으로 발병율(發病率)이 극(極)히 낮았고 6월(月) 15일(日) 파종구(播種區)에서는 적기(適期) 파종기(播種期)인 5월(月) 20일(日) 파종구(播種區)에 비(比)하여 수량(收量)이 13% 증수(增收)되었다. 3. 병원균(病原菌) 인위접종시(人爲接種時) $16{\sim}20^{\circ}C$의 저온하(低溫下)에서는 묘령(苗令)에 관계(關係)없이 100% 발병(發病)되었고 4. $20{\sim}25^{\circ}C$의 고온하(高溫下)에서는 묘령(苗令)이 어린 쪽이 발병(發病)이 적었고 많은 쪽이 발병(發病)이 심(甚)하였다.(新梢上端葉)과 2차생장(次生長) 신초(新梢)의 엽(葉)에 주(主)로 가해(加害)하였다. 4. 사과굴나방의 유충기생봉(幼蟲寄生蜂)으로는 깡충좀벌과(科)의 H. testaceipes, 좀벌과(科)의 수종(數種) 및 고치벌과(科)의 Apanteles sp.가 조사(調査)되었고, 깡충좀벌은 년(年) 4회(回) 발생(發生)하였으나, 좀벌류(類)는 사과굴나방과 비슷하게 년(年) 5회(回) 발생(發生)하였고, 고치벌은 단지 9월(月)에만 소량(少量)이 발생(發生)하였다., 엽당(葉當) $2{\sim}4$마리의 가해시(加害時) 피해엽(被害葉)에 대한 피해면적율(被害面積率)은 $6{\sim}8$ 정도(程度)였다.서 단백질을 추출하고 pH 5.0에서 침전시킬 때 평지종실단백질로부터 Phytate를 제거하는 효과가 가장 좋다는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 장수자의 대부분(87.3%)이 매일 또는 때때로 동물성 단백질을 섭취하고 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 4. 장수자(長壽者)의 과거(過去)와 현재(現在)의 중요 식품(食品)의 섭취상태(攝取狀態)를 주(週) $4{\sim}6$회(回)이상 섭취(攝取)로 비교(比較)하여 보면 육류(肉類), 어류(魚類), 난류(卵類) 및 두유제품(豆類製品)은 50.4%, 67.5%, 우유(牛乳) 및 유제품(乳製品)은 26.6%, 51.5%, 야채류(野菜類)는89.9%, 81.0%, 지방질(脂肪質) 식품(食品)은 58.9%, 64.0%, 해초류(海醮類)는 57.0%, 62.9%를 각각 섭취하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.다. 이들 장수자(長壽者)의 은퇴 후 취미(趣味) 및 오락활동(娛樂活動)의 내용(內容)을 보면 TV 시청(視聽)(79.2%), 손자(孫子)와의 대화(對話)(54.2%), 집안에서 잔손질(35.4%), 신앙생활(信仰生活)

여학생의 초경에 관한 조사 연구 (서울시내 여자중학생을 대상으로) (A study on the menarche of middle school girls in Seoul)

  • It is assumed that menarche is affected not only by the biological factors such as nutrition and genetic heritage, but also it is affected by other socio-cultural environmental factors including weather, geographic location, education and level of modernization. Also recent trend of menarche in Korea indicates that a lot of discussion are being generated to the need of sex education as a part of formal school education. The purpose of this study is to develop the school health education program by determine the age of menarche, the factors relavant to time of menarche and psycho-mental state of students at the time in menarche and investigate the present state of school health education relate to menarche of adolescents. The total number of 732 girls was drown from first, second and third grades of 4 middle schools in Seoul. For the data collection the survey was conducted during the period from May 1 to May 20, 1982 by using prepared questionair. The major results are summarized as follow; 1. Mean age at menarche and the percent distribution of menarche experienced. It was observed that about 68.7% of sampled students have been experienced menarche at the time interviewed. For the each group, age at menarche is revealed that among the students about 37.8% are experienced menarche for under 12 years old group, 62.1% for 13 year-old group, 80.6% for 14 year-old group and 95.5% for over 15 years old. In sum it was found that the mean age at menarche was 12.3 years old, ranged from age at 10 as earlist the age at 15 as latest. 2. Variables associated with age at menarche. 1) There was tendency those student who belong to upper class economic status have had menarche earlier than those student who belong to lower class. Therefore, economic status is closely related to age at menarche. 2) In time of mother's education level, it is also found that those students whose mother's education levels from high school and college are experienced menarche earlier than those students whose mother's education levels from primary school and no-education. 3) However, in connection with home discipline, there was no significant relationship between age at menarche and home disciplines which are being treated "Rigid", "Moderated ", "Indifferent". 4) Degree of communication between parents and daughter about sex matters was found to be associated each others in determination of age at menarche. 5) It was found that high association between mother's menarche age and their daughter's menarche age was observed. Mother's age at menarche earlier trend to be shown also as earlier of their daughters. 6) Those students belong to "D & E" of physical substantiality index are trend to be earlier in menarche than those students in the index "A & B". 3. Psycho-mental state at the time of menarche. Out of the total students 68.2% had at least one or more than one of subjective symptoms. Shyness was shown as most higher prevalent symptom and others are fear, emotional instability, unpleasant feeling, depression, radical behavior, inferior complex and satisfaction appeared. Very few cases are appeared be guilty and stealing feeling. 4. The present status of school health education program related to menarche. As to the source of information about menarche, teacher was a main source with average index 5.88 and the other informants were mother & family member, friends, books and magagines, movies, television, and radio. For the problem solving at menarche, mother & family members were subject to discussion with an average index 6.02 as high. The others for discuss and knowledge about menarche were books, magagine, friends, teachers, and self-learning based on own experienced. The time of learning about menarche, it was learned as highest percentage with 43.2% at a 6 grades of primary school, middle school with 34.4%, 5 grade of primary school with 18.2%, and 4 grade of primary school with 4.0% respectively.

외국인 모델의 매력도와 외국어 사용의 상호작용 효과 (The Interaction Effect of Foreign Model Attractiveness and Foreign Language Usage)

  • 현재 한국시장의 광고에는 외국인 모델과 외국어를 사용하는 것이 일반적이다. 그러나 그 효과에 대한 검증은 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다. 기존의 연구에 의하면 마케팅 커뮤니케이션과 소비자의 문화적 가치가 일치하게 될 때 커뮤니케이션의 효과가 높아진다고 한다. 즉, 광고에의 외국문화 사용은 기존 연구에서 주장하고 있는 바와는 반대의 현상인 것이다. 그러나 인터넷 등 글로벌 매체에 의해 글로벌 문화가 출현함에 따라 마케팅 커뮤니케이션과 소비자의 문화적 가치가 일치하는 것이 가장 바람직한 커뮤니케이션 방법이라 볼 수는 없다. 이에 본 연구는 외국인 모델을 사용하는 광고에 있어서 모델의 매력도와 외국어 사용이 소비자의 광고와 제품에 대한 태도, 구매의도 등에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보고 효과적인 광고 커뮤니케이션에 대한 제언을 하고자 했다. 연구결과, 광고에 사용된 언어와 광고의 시각적 단서인 모델 매력도는 광고의 효과에 상호작용 효과를 나타내는 것이 밝혀졌다. 광고에 사용된 모델 매력도가 높은 경우, 제품에 대한 태도, 구매의도가 사용된 언어에 대해 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 광고에 사용된 모델의 매력도가 낮은 경우에는 영어를 사용한 경우가 제품에 대한 태도, 구매의도가 높았다. 즉, 외국인 모델을 광고에 사용할 경우, 그 모델의 매력도의 높고 낮음에 따라 광고에 사용되는 언어를 선택함으로써 광고의 효과를 조절할 수 있다는 실무적 시사점을 제공한다.

특정 대상에 대한 개인 수준의 문화적 성향이 사용자 경험에 미치는 조절효과에 대한 실증적 연구: 미국, 독일, 러시아의 4개 디지털 기기 사용자를 대상으로 (An Empirical Study on How the Moderating Effects of Individual Cultural Characteristics towards a Specific Target Affects User Experience: Based on the Survey Results of Four Types of Digital Device Users in the US, Germany, and Russia)

  • Recently, due to the globalization of the IT(Information Technology) market, devices and systems designed in one country are used in other countries as well. This phenomenon is becoming the key factor for increased interest on cross-cultural, or cross-national, research within the IT area. However, as the IT market is becoming bigger and more globalized, a great number of IT practitioners are having difficulty in designing and developing devices or systems which can provide optimal experience. This is because not only tangible factors such as language and a country's economic or industrial power affect the user experience of a certain device or system but also invisible and intangible factors as well. Among such invisible and intangible factors, the cultural characteristics of users from different countries may affect the user experience of certain devices or systems because cultural characteristics affect how they understand and interpret the devices or systems. In other words, when users evaluate the quality of overall user experience, the cultural characteristics of each user act as a perceptual lens that leads the user to focus on a certain elements of experience. Therefore, there is a need within the IT field to consider cultural characteristics when designing or developing certain devices or systems and plan a strategy for localization. In such an environment, existing IS studies identify the culture with the country, emphasize the importance of culture in a national level perspective, and hypothesize that users within the same country have same cultural characteristics. Under such assumptions, these studies focus on the moderating effects of cultural characteristics on a national level within a certain theoretical framework. This has already been suggested by cross-cultural studies conducted by scholars such as Hofstede(1980) in providing numerical research results and measurement items for cultural characteristics and using such results or items as they increase the efficiency of studies. However, such national level culture has its limitations in forecasting and explaining individual-level behaviors such as voluntary device or system usage. This is because individual cultural characteristics are the outcome of not only the national culture but also the culture of a race, company, local area, family, and other groups that are formulated through interaction within the group. Therefore, national or nationally dominant cultural characteristics may have its limitations in forecasting and explaining the cultural characteristics of an individual. Moreover, past studies in psychology suggest a possibility that there exist different cultural characteristics within a single individual depending on the subject being measured or its context. For example, in relation to individual vs. collective characteristics, which is one of the major cultural characteristics, an individual may show collectivistic characteristics when he or she is with family or friends but show individualistic characteristics in his or her workplace. Therefore, this study acknowledged such limitations of past studies and conducted a research within the framework of 'theoretically integrated model of user satisfaction and emotional attachment', which was developed through a former study, on how the effects of different experience elements on emotional attachment or user satisfaction are differentiated depending on the individual cultural characteristics related to a system or device usage. In order to do this, this study hypothesized the moderating effects of four cultural dimensions (uncertainty avoidance, individualism vs, collectivism, masculinity vs. femininity, and power distance) as suggested by Hofstede(1980) within the theoretically integrated model of emotional attachment and user satisfaction. Statistical tests were then implemented on these moderating effects through conducting surveys with users of four digital devices (mobile phone, MP3 player, LCD TV, and refrigerator) in three countries (US, Germany, and Russia). In order to explain and forecast the behavior of personal device or system users, individual cultural characteristics must be measured, and depending on the target device or system, measurements must be measured independently. Through this suggestion, this study hopes to provide new and useful perspectives for future IS research.
