지진하중을 받는 케이슨 방파제의 변위 특성분석 (Displacement Charateristics of Caisson-Type Breakwater under Earthquake Loadings)

  • Recently, the earthquakes activities are more of frequency occurred in the country. In case of nomal or large magnitude earthquakes, which cause a rising number of life loss or widespread loss of property. It must be considered how to cope with the situperty of dpmage in the country ty account of ay earthquake. Consequently, the public works have currently ensured against a lot of risk about seismism not only on large scale structures but also relatively small structures. Therefore, in this study, in order to make the seismic stability safe, it has been evaluated by the seismic performance for caisson-type breakwater. The seismic response analyses have conducted on the caisson-type breaker under long-period, short-period and artificial seismic wave. The liquefaction potential of the foundation, which is caisson-type, is also estimated by using the simplified assessment method. Finally, the result of the numerical analysis by PENTAGON 2D finite element method(FEM) program are presented for 3 cases with time-history seismic analysis under the seismic load.

3차원 유한요소분석에 의한 소형견의 견치와 열육치의 교합력 방향 분석 (Analysis of the direction of the canine and carnassial of small dog by 3D FEM)

  • Purpose: This study is for the prosthesis of dog. Observed the occlusal relation between the small dog canine and carnassial teeth. The direction of the bite force was analyzed by 3D FEM(finite element method). Methods: The mandibular canine and carnassial of dog were tested. The skull of dog was contact point confirmed by dental CAD. The skull of dog was scaned using CT and a 3D model was created. The 3D model was analyzed ABAQUS. Closing movement has been 100N, 200N, 300N, 500N, 1000N, 1500N. The Direction of bite force was confirmed. Results: As occlusal force increased, the direction of bite force appeared to (-y), (-x,-y,-z), (-x,-y), (-x,-y,+z), (-x,-y,+ z), (+x,-y) in mandibular left canine. And the direction was seen at (+x, -y), (+x,-y,-z), (+x,-y), (-x,-y,+z), (-x,-y,+z), (+x,-y). When the occlusal load is 100 N, 200 N, 300 N, 500 N, the direction of the mandibular carnassial appears as (-x, -y, -z), and when the occlusal load is 1000 N, 1500 N, the direction appears as (-x,-y). Conclusion: The mandibular canine showed irregularities in the coordinates of the direction of the bite force, and the mandibular carnassial showed regularity in the coordinates of the direction of the bite force.

  • In this paper, the estimation of Z-axis thrust ripple and vibration of BLDC motor with asymmetrical permanent magnet overhang is performed by 3-D Finite Element Method (3-D FEM) and vibration experimentation. The ripple of Z-axis thrust is due to armature reaction field in BLDC motor driven to squire wave. That is generating to Z-axis vibration. The analysis results of Z-axis thrust and the vibration by Z-axis thrust ripple is validated by comparison with experimental result.

  • The main advantages of Disk type Single-Phase Switched Reluctance Motor (DSPSRM) is the simple construction, rugged structure, low manufacturing cost and simple driving circuit. It is especially possible to make the short axial length of DSPSRM. Therefore, it is suitable to setup this motor in a narrow space. This paper presents the shape design to maximize the average torque of DSPSRM that is achieved by 3D Finite Element Method (3D FEM) considering the nonlinear of magnetic material. The characteristics of two different rotor shapes are compared. The design parameters, such as the rotor and stator pole arc, are selected to the parametric study. The effect of pole arc ratios on the torque performance is investigated. From these results, the optimal pole arc to produce the maximum torque is determined.

CPW 급전 방식을 이용한 UWB 모노폴 안테나 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of CPW-Fed UWB Monopole Antenna)

  • 본 논문에서는 UWB(Ultra Wide Band) 통신 시스템에서 사용할 수 있는 CPW(Coplanar Waveguide) 급전 방식을 이용한 새로운 UWB 안테나를 설계 제작하여 측정하였다. CPW-fed 평면 슬롯 안테나는 광대역, 저비용과 무선 주파수 프론트 엔드 회로와 함께 간단히 집적화 시킬 수 있는 이점들을 가지고 있다. 제안된 안테나의 전산 모의실험에는 Ansoft사의 FEM(Finite Element Method) 방식의 HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator)를 사용하였다. 두께 1.6 mm, 유전율 4.4의 FR-4 기판을 사용하여 제작하였다. 제안된 안테나는 UWB 통신 시스템에서 사용되는 3.1~10.6 GHz에서 VSWR(Voltage Standarding Wave Ratio)${\leq}2$임을 만족하였다. 측정된 최대 이득은 3 GHz에서 2.61 dBi, 6 GHz에서 4.95 dBi, 8 GHz에서 2.89 dBi, 11 GHz에서 7.35 dBi이다.

외부 하중에 대한 매설 폴리에틸렌 가스배관의 유한요소 해석 (Buried Polyethylene Gas Pipes Analysis using Finite Element Method under External Loadings)

  • 폴리에틸렌(PE) 배관은 시공이 편리하고 강관에 비해 가격이 저렴하기 때문에 저압 공급용으로 많이 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 유한요소 해석을 이용하여 매설한 PE 배관이 다양한 외부하중을 받는 경우에 발생하는 응력 및 변형에 대하여 알아보았다. 배관 직경이 $50{\sim}400mm$인 PE 배관에 대하여 매설 깊이를 $0.6{\sim}1.2m$로 달리하고 그리고 공급압력을 $0.4{\sim}4bar$로 변화시켰을 때 배관에 발생하는 응력을 유한요소를 이용하여 계산하였다. 결과적으로 매설 상태에서 각 하중 조건에 따른 응력 상태 그리고 복합적인 하중이 작용할 경우에 400호 배관에 발생하는 응력을 계산한 결과 매설 깊이가 1 m일 때 최대 원주방향 응력이 가장 작은 값을 나타내었다.

자동차패널 성형공정의 3차원 유한요소해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Forming Processes of an Automotive Panel)

  • Three-Dimensional finite element analysis is performed using PAM-STAMP for design evaluation of automotive back door inner panel die. Gravity process by blanks own weight, binder-wrap process, and drawing process in the forming operations are sequentially simulated with Virtual Manufacturing Method. The most valuable result in this research is that 3-D FEM analysis can be applied to the design evaluation of draw die in the die try-out, though effects of mesh size and drawbead resistance force on the numerical accuracy are much sensitive. For the intensive application to draw-die design and try-out, the experimental know-hows about the forming variables such as friction coefficient, punch velocity, drawbead force, etc are necessary.

결정소성 유한요소해석에 의한 극박 스테인리스강의 성형한계선도 예측 (Forming Limit Diagram Prediction for Ultra-Thin Ferritic Stainless Steel Using Crystal Plasticity Finite Element Method)

  • In order to characterize the macroscopic mechanical response of ultra-thin (0.1 mm thick) ferritic stainless steel sheet at various loading paths, a crystal plasticity finite element method (CP-FEM) was introduced. The accuracy of the prediction results was validated by comparing with the experimental data. Based on the results, the forming limit diagram (FLD) was predicted using a modified Marchinicak-Kuczinski model coupled to a non-quadratic anisotropic yield function, namely, Yld2000-2d. The predicted FLD was found to be in good agreement with the experimental data.

브러시없는 직류 선형 모터의 고정자 형상 최적 설계 (The optimum geometric design of stators for brush less DC linear motors)

  • We design and analyze two type stators for brushless DC linear motors by the experiment and the computational analysis. For a U-shape stator, the maximum manetic flux density by the finite element method(FEM) is large than that by the experiment by 1.0~2.2%. The result by the FEM is so accurate that it can be applied to the geometric design for the optimization. To increase the maximum magnetic flux density, we suggest an improved stator and analyze it by the 3-D and 2-D models. The maximum magnetic flux density of the improved stator is large than that of the U-Shape stator by 2.7%. Considering the size of the improved stator and maximum magnetic flux density, we determine that the optimized thickness is 5mm for a given specification.
