Validating DEVS based Traffic Simulation Model for Freeways (DEVS 기반의 연속 교통류 시뮬레이션 시스템 검증 ($I^3D^2$ 교통류 시뮬레이션 시스템을 중심으로))

  • 본 연구는 DEVS를 기반으로 개발된 교통류 시뮬레이션 시스템인 $\ulcorner$I$^3$D$^2$ 교통류 시뮬레이션 시스템$\lrcorner$(이하 I$^3$D$^2$)의 검증을 그 목적으로 한다. I$^3$D$^2$는 본 연구진이 DEVS를 기반으로 개발한 범용 시뮬레이션 도구로써, 이미 서울시 강남 신호교차로와 내부순환로를 대상으로 하여 개발된 내용을 발표한 바 있다. I$^3$D$^2$는 헌재 단속류에서의 최적신호 생성 및 대기행렬 예측 문제, 그리고 연속류 시설의 용량 산정 문제등을 시뮬레이션 할 수 있다. 하지만 아직 문헌자료나 현장 데이터를 토대로 한 충분한 검증이 수행되지 못한 문제가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 문헌자료를 토대로, I$^3$D$^2$를 검증한다. 이를 위하여 고속도로 또는 도시고속도로와 같은 연속 교통류의 대표적인 효과척도인 $\ulcorner$교통량 - 밀도 - 평균주행속도 (시간)$\lrcorner$ 간의 상관관계를 이용하여 미국 HCM과 우리나라의 도로용량편람에 정의되어 있는 기준을 토대로 I$^3$D$^2$ 검증을 수행하였다. 모델링은 서울시 올림픽대로의 양화대교 - 성산대교 - 가양대교 구간을 대상으로 했으며, 검증은 교통량에 따라 크게 3가지 교통류 상태(random, intermediate, constant)를 기준으로 시뮬레이션이 각각의 교통상태에서 예측한 평균주행시간의 정확도를 측정하면서 수행하였다. 검증 결과 random 상태에서는 문헌자료에 부합되는 예측결과를 보여주었으나, intermediate와 constant 상태에서는 문헌보다 다소 낮은 속도를 보여주었다 이러한 속도차는 추후 현장 데이터를 수집하여 보다 실질적인 검증을 통하여 조정되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

A Case Study on the Traffic Operational Guidance for Temporary Closure of Climbing Lane; Focusing on Nakdong JC at Jungbunaeryuk Expressway (오르막차로 일시 폐쇄를 위한 교통운영기준 사례연구 (중부내륙고속도로 낙동JC를 중심으로))

  • A climbing lane is installed to separate low-speed traffic from high-speed traffic if drastic traffic capacity reduction is expected due to a large number of vehicles that slow down in the upward section. Existing studies on climbing lanes have focused on the designation, location of starting and ending points, and installation method of climbing lane with regard to road design standards. However, in terms of traffic operation, it was known that the climbing lanes cause traffic congestion due to the increase of traffic volumes. In this regard, this study aims to establish traffic operational guidance as to how much effects temporary closure of climbing lanes can have on traffic improvement according to the volume-capacity ratio, grade, and composition of trucks. A test section of simulated climbing lane was selected in Nakdong JC bound for Masan(136.9K~133.3K, 3.6km, 3.7%) on Jungbunaeryuk expressway to conduct VISSIM analyses, microscopic traffic simulation based on such control variables as traffic volume(v/c), grade and the trucks ratio. As a result of the analyses, it has been found that v/c and the ratio of trucks are the key variables for efficient traffic management of climbing lanes in order to relieve traffic congestion via climbing lane. If ratio of trucks are more than 50% and when v/c would be 0.8, both climbing lane would be closed and non-operated regardless of grade and ratio of trucks when v/c is 1.0. With the increased traffic due to a five-day work week system, continued peak hours during the weekday, increased and various patterns of congestion on expressway, this study would be expected to contribute to facilitating researches on flexible operational standards for road facilities.

A Study on Relationships Between Nutritional Status and Psychological Functionings of Elementary School Children in Seoul (영양상태와 인지 및 인성 기능과의 상관성에 관한 연구-국민학교 아동을 대상으로-)

  • The relationships between nutritional status and psychological functionings in elementart school children were studied using dietary survey, physical and biochemical examinations and psychological measures of both cognitive and personality traits. The results obtained are as follows: (1) Performance of Y school (higher economic class) children on the tests of cognitive functionings, was generally higher than that of B school(lower economic class) children. The means of all anthropornetric measurements were also higher in Y than B school children. (2) Nutrient intakes were found to be positvely correlated with the psychological funtionings of the children to the varing degrees depending on the variables tested. However, the correlations between the physical measures and psychological functionings were low. (3) Most nutrient variables showed positive correlations with body size. (4) The functionings of both cognitive and personality traits are of utmost importance reflecting the positive effects of balanced diet on behavior.

Studies on the Estimation of Growth Pattern Cut-up Parts in Four Broiler Strain in Growing Body Weight (육용계에 있어서 계통간 산육능력 및 체중증가에 따른 각 부위별 증가양상 추정에 관한 연구)

  • The experiments were conducted to investigate the possibility of improving the effectiveness of the existing method to estimate the edible meat weight in the live broiler chicken. A total of 360 birds, five male and female chicks from each line were sacrificed at Trial 1 (body weight 900-1, 000g), Trial 2 (body weight 1.200-1, 400g), Trial 3(body weight 1, 600-1, 700), and Trial 4(body weight 2, 000g) in order to measure the body weight, edible meat weight of breast, thigh and drumsticks, and various components of body weight. Each line was reared at the Poultry Breeding Farm, Seoul National University from the second of july, 1987 to the thirteenth of September, 1987. The results obtained from this study were summarized as follows : 1. The average body weights of each line( H. T, M, A) were $2150.5\pm$34.9, $2133.0\pm$26.2, $1960.0\pm$23.1, and $2319.3\pm$27.9, respectively. at 7 weeks of age. The feed to body weight eain ratio for each line chicks was 2.55, 2.13, 2.08, and 2.03, respectively, for 0 to 7 weeks of age. The viability of each line was 99.7. 99.7, 100.0, and 100.0%, respectively, for 0 to 7 weeks of age.01 was noticed that A Line chicks grow significantly heavier than did T, H, M line chic ks from 0 to 7 weeks of age. The regression coefficients of growth curves from each line chicks were bA=1.015, bH=0.265, bM=0.950 and bT=0.242, respectively. 2. Among the body weight components, the feather. abdominal fat, breast, and thigh and drumsticks increased in their weight percentage as the birds grew older, while neck. head, giblets and inedible viscera decreased. No difference wat apparent in shank, wings and hack. 3. The weight percentages of breast in edible part for each line thicks were 19.2, 19.0, 19.9 and 19.0% at Trial 4, respectively. The weight percentages of thigh and drumsticks in edible part for each line chicks were 23.1, 23.3, 22.8, and 23.0% at Trial 4. respective1y. 4. The values for the percentage meat yield from breast were 77.2. 78.9 73.5 and 74.8% at Trial 4 in H, T, M and A Line chicks. respectively. For thigh and drumstick, the values of 80.3, 78.4. 79.7 and 80.2% were obtained. These data indicate that the percentage meat yield increase as the birds grow older. 5. The correlation coefficients between body weight and blood. head, shanks. breast. thigh-drumstick were high. The degree if correlation between abdominal fat(%) and percentage of edible meat were extremely low at all times, but those between abdominal fat (%) and inedible viscera were significantly high.

Tensorial Time Scales for Turbulent Gradient Transport of Reynolds Stresses (레이놀즈 응력의 난류구배수송을 위한 텐서시간척도)

  • On the notion that the Reynolds stresses are transported with different time scale depending on the transport direction, the third order velocity correlations are represented by a new turbulent gradient transport model with tonsorial Lagrangian time scale. In order to verify the proposed model, DNS data are first obtained in a turbulent channel flow at Re = 180 and tonsorial Lagrangian time scales are computed. The present model predictions are compared with DNS data and those predicted by the third-order turbulent transport model of Hanjalic and Launder that uses a scalar time scale. The result demonstrates that the Reynolds stresses are indeed transported with different time scale depending on the transport direction.

참깨의 수세 후 탈수 정도에 따른 참깨 볶음 조건과 참기름 품질 영향 비교

  • 우리나라와 일본에서 특유의 향미로 인해 오래 전부턴 조미식품으로 애용되었던 참기름은 최근 토코페롤과 세사몰류 항산화 성분의 인체 기능성으로 인해 유지시장에 서 더욱 증가일로에 있다. 지금까지 좋은 향미와 품질을 지닌 참기름을 얻기 위해 참깨의 roasting조건에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔으나, 가공 전처리인 이물질 제거를 위한 수세 작업 및 탈수 작업에 관한 연구는 아직까지 없었다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 이물질을 제거하는 수세 작업을 한 후 수분의 제거 정도 즉, 참깨가 roasting 과정으로 들어가기 직전의 수분 함량이 참기름의 제조와 품질에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 시료 350g을 수세 후 24 hr, 48 hr, 120 hr 실온에서 송풍 건조를 시켜 참깨 자체의 수분 함량을 각각 17.14%, 11.78%, 6.08%로 조절하여 착유하였다. 수분함량이 다른 세 군 시료를 각기 24$0^{\circ}C$, 26$0^{\circ}C$, 28$0^{\circ}C$에서 20분간 roasting하여 착유된 참기름에 대해 이화학적 품질 특성을 알기 위해 seed와 oil의 색도, 산가, 과산화물가, TBA가, 점도와 굴절률을 측정하였다. 또한, sample single test(5점 척도)를 이용한 관능검사를 행하여 benny, nutty, burnt flavor 및 전체적 만족도와 향의 강도 항목을 조사한 후 상관분석을 실시하였다. roasted sesame seed와 oil에 대해 색도를 측정하고 분산 분석을 실시한 결과, 참깨의 색도 중 L*가 R-suare=1로서 전체 자료가 모형을 잘 설명해줌을 의미하는데, 고수분 시료일수록 whiteness가 높게 나왔고(60이상), 고온일수록 미미한 감소가 나타났다. 이것은 수분함량이 시료의 건화속도에 요인자로 작용함을 말해준다. oil의 L*도 마찬가지 경향을 보이나 고수분 시료구의 경우(40 이상), 타 시료구(20이하)에 비해 백색도가 높은 것을 볼 수 있어 볶음에 더 많은 시간을 투자해야 함을 보여주었다. 그러나 a*와b*는 시료구간 뚜렷한 차이는 보이지 않았다. 참기름에 대하여 화학적 품질 평가로 산가는 수분함량 시료구별로 1.204, 3.28, 1.862가 측정되었고, 과산화물가는 0.493, 0.169, 0.315가 기록되었고, TBA가 또한 13.45, 10.27, 11.73로서 시료의 수분 함량과 상관없이 초기 산패 경향은 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 참기름의 물리적 품질요소로서 점도는 평균 85.57 cS, 굴절률은 평균 1.471로서 시험구간 이화학적 차이는 없는 것으로 드러났다. 관능검사결과의 상관분석에서는 beany와 burnt flavor간에 -0.9975(p<0.05)의 음상관을, nutty flavor와 전체favor간에 0.99662의 양상관(p$\leq$0.05)을 보였고, burnt와 향의 strength, 전체 favor와 nutty flavor간에도 상관성이 높았다. strength와 nutty 항목간에도 0.982의 높은 상관을 보였으나 전체 favor와 burnt 항목간에는 높은 음상관(-0.9862)을 보였다. 고수분 함량의 시료는 28$0^{\circ}C$의 고온 처리시 외에는 향미가 좋지 못한 것으로 나타났고, 수분량이 적은 실험구는 고온일수록 향과 고소함은 강해지나 수분 보유량이 적어 타 실험구에 비해 탄내가 많이 발생하였다. 향미 만족도는 중간 수분량, 26$0^{\circ}C$ 볶음 처리구가 가장 컸다. 결론적으로 수분함량을 10~12%로 조절한 시료로 26$0^{\circ}C$~28$0^{\circ}C$에서 20분 이내로 roasting할 때가 좋은 참기름을 얻을 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Uptake and Elimination of 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin(TCDD) and 3,3 ,4,4 ,5-pentachlorobiphenyl(PCB126) in Japanese Medaka(Oryzias latipes) (일본송사리에서 TCDD 및 PCB 126의 흡수 및 배설)

  • 초기생애단계의 일본송사리를 실험어류로 사용하여 TCDD와 PCB 126의 생물농축정도를 비교 측정하였고, TCDD와 PCB 126의 체외 배설에 대한 동태학적 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 생물농축실험은 초기생애단계의 새끼치어 및 어린 물고기에 TCDD와 PCB 126을 여러 농도로 물에 용해시켜 96시간 동안 정체된 상태로 폭로시킨 후 생물농축계수(BCF)와 지방-표준화한 생물농축계수(BCF$_{L}$)를 측정하였다. TCDD와 PCB 126의 일본송사리 초기생애단계의 새끼치어 및 어린 물고기에서 측정된 96-h BCF값 및 96-h BCF$_{L}$값은 폭로된 농도와 상관없이 비슷하게 나타나 반면, 생체크기가 클수록 그 값은 작게 나타났다. 일본송사리 새끼치어, 어린 물고기, 성어의 생체 내 총 지방함량은 각각 5.7, 4.2, 4.6%로 측정되었다. 체외배설 동태실험은 어린 물고기에 TCDD와 PCB 126을 3가지 농도롤 물에 용해시켜 96시간 동안 정체된 상태로 폭로시킨 후, flow-through장치로 공급되는 맑은 물로 옮겨 42일간 사양하면서 0, 7, 14, 21, 28, 42일에 생체 내 TCDD와 PCB 126 잔류량을 측정하여 분석하였다. 배설은 1차 반응속도론적으로 이루어졌으며 한 구획모형보다 두 구획모형이 더 적합한 것으로 분석되었다. 두 구획모형을 사용한 분석에서 TCDD와 PCB 126의 체외배설 반감기(t$\frac{1}{2}$) 및 배설속도상수($\beta$)는 각각 27.2일과 32.3일 및 0.025/d와 0.021/d로 측정되었다.

A Correlation between Axis-Rotation and Corneal Eccentricity in Toric Soft Contact Lens Fitting in With-the-rule Astigmatism (직난시안에서의 토릭소프트렌즈 피팅 시 축 회전과 각막이심률과의 상관관계)

  • Purpose: A correlation between the rotating direction and rotation amount according to the eccentricity was analyzed in the present study when fitting the toric soft contact lens. Methods: One hundred fourteen eyes of with-the-rule astigmatism in 20s and 30s were appropriately applied toric soft contact lens by the guideline of manufacturer and fitting evaluations and analyzed the rotating direction and rotation amount when fixating at primary position and 8 different directions of gaze. The speed of reorientation and the correlation between the rotation amount and cornea eccentricity were also analyzed when rotating $45^{\circ}$ each toward the temporal and nasal direction. Results: The cornea eccentricity and rotation amount was shown positive correlation. For the gaze of direction, it was identified that the gaze of directions other than the gaze of direction towards the nasal and temporal had correlation, and among them, the gaze of directions to superior and the superior-temporal showed the tendency of decreasing rotation amount as the cornea eccentricity increased. On the contrary, the gaze of direction towards the inferior, inferior-temporal, superior-nasal, and inferior-nasal showed tendency of increasing rotation amount as the cornea eccentricity increased thus, it was identified that the cornea eccentricity showed different correlation according to the gaze of direction. For the case of re-orientational speed, the speed of lens reorientation in the group having the smallest corneal eccentricity was fastest in both direction but was not significantly different. Conclusions: Considering cornea eccentricity to current method of prescribing toric soft contact lens which is based on total astigmatism, it will be helpful to establish the optimal axis stabilization.

A Study on Improvement of Doppler Frequency Estimation Method in a Weather Radar (기상 레이다에서의 도플러 주파수 추정 방법 개선에 관한 연구)

  • A wind velocity is measured in a weather radar as well as the strength of return echoes from rain clouds. These wind velocities are obtained through estimation of Doppler frequencies in return signals. This kind of Doppler frequency estimation method is called as a correlation method. It is widely used in most weather radars because of less computation time. However, it may cause serious errors if a spectrum is not symmetric. Therefore, in this paper, it is shown that the improved method using 3rd order phase estimation model yields the more accurate estimation of the average Doppler frequency using various simulated weather data.

Anaerobic Co-Digestion Characteristics of Food Waste Leachate and Sewage Sludge (BMP test를 통한 음폐수와 하수슬러지의 병합소화 특성 평가)

  • We mix food waste leachate and sewage sludge by the proportion of 1:9, 3:7 and 5:5. It turns out that they produced 233, 298 and 344 $CH_4{\cdot}mL/g{\cdot}VS$ of methane gas. The result suggests that as the mixing rate of food waste leachate rises, the methane gas productions increases as well. And more methane gas is made when co-digesting sewage sludge and food waste leachate based on the mixing ratio, rather than digesting only sewage sludge alone. Modified Gompertz and Exponential Model describe the BMP test results that show how methane gas are produced from organic waste. According to the test, higher the mixing rate of food waste leachate is, higher the methane gas productions is. The mixing ratio of food waste leachate that produces the largest volume of methane gas is 3:7. Modified Gompertz model and Exponential model describe the test results very well. The correlation values($R^2$) that show how the results of model prediction and experiment are close is 0.92 to 0.98.
