미래 스마트시티 비전과 과제: 도시문제 대응을 중심으로 (Future Smart City Vision and Tasks: Responding to Urban Issues)

  • The smart city agenda aims to solve various problems arising in cities and promote the welfare and happiness of citizens by utilizing the new technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Smart city policies have been promoted at the national level, but until now, policy implementations have not been effective enough to fundamentally affect citizens. To realize a more realistic and practical smart city, it is necessary to examine the problems occurring in the city in depth and set the direction and tasks of the smart city accordingly. Therefore, this study specifies the issues and problems faced in 12 sectors, including manufacturing, logistics, medical care, and safety. Next, by referring to the existing literature, a future smart city integration model is proposed that can respond to these problems. That is, future smart cities should create detailed services with enhanced efficiency, sustainability, strong risk management, safety, and satisfaction as the main goals. This study is meaningful in that it suggests a vision and tasks of smart cities that can solve problems in various sectors in a form that can be felt by the citizens.

지면 평행 직선의 3차원 방향 추정에 의한 비전 기반 파렛트 측정 방법 (A Vision Based Pallet Measurement Method by Estimating 3D Direction of A Line Parallel to The Ground)

  • A line parallel to the ground is frequently shown in our daily life, which enables us to guess its direction. Especially, such a guess tends to become clear when a vanishing line of the ground is shown together. In this paper, a vision based pallet measurement method is suggested, which uses a technique for estimating three-dimensional direction of a line parallel to the ground. The technique computes actually a vector heading to intersection of a given imaged line parallel to the ground and the ground vanishing line determined previously on calibrating a measurement camera. Through an experiment of measuring a real commercial pallet with various orientation and distance, we found that the technique could measure the orientation of the pallet correctly and accurately. The technique worked well even though an edge line available on the front plane of a pallet was almost parallel to the ground vanishing line.

실데나필 복용 이후 발생한 청색시증에 대한 사례 (A Case Report of Cyanopsia after Taking Sildenafil)

  • The emergence of phosphodiesterase (PDE) 5 inhibitors gave rise to the solution for erectile dysfunction, starting with the development of sildenafil. Although their efficacy in treating erectile dysfunction has been shown, the side effects of PDE5 inhibitors, especially sildenafil, must be taken into consideration. A 64-year-old man received 100 mg of sildenafil and experienced blue vision in both eyes; however, after a day or so, his symptoms improved. The symptoms disappeared when he stopped administering sildenafil, but reappeared when the medication was re-administered. Therefore, he discontinued sildenafil treatment and was prescribed udenafil instead. After that, visual adverse events no longer occurred. Causality assessment showed that in this case, sildenafil-induced cyanopsia was "certain" under the World Health Organization-Uppsala Monitoring Center (WHO-UMC) criteria and Korean causality assessment algorithm (Ver.2), and was "probable" according to the Naranjo scale. In addition, sildenafil also led to abnormal visual reactions in other cases. Sildenafil can also inhibit PDE6, which is present in retinal cells, unlike other PDE5 inhibitors. Thus, visual adverse reactions, such as blue vision, are the unique results of sildenafil, and other PDE5 inhibitors may be used to prevent them.

편평어 자동선별시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on the development of automatic flatfish grading system)

  • In this study, the authors introduce a newly developed flatfish grading system. Owing to the features of flatfish with and wide body, the general types of grading system are not easy to apply for it. Furthermore, the flatfish to be graded is alive such that the existing measurement and grading systems cannot be used for it as well. This study gives a solution for measuring and grading the flatfish with high speed and good accuracy. For this object, the authors developed flatfish measurement and grading system. This system consist of the feeding, conveying, measurement part and sorting part. Especially, the measurement part is made by vision based measuring technique which satisfies the given specification. The result from the experiment shows that the developed system is applicable for measuring and grading the flatfish sizes in variety.

  • Recently, a 4-col 7-row LED Screen that provides various information of major roads and local governments has been installed and operated. However, due to deterioration due to changes in temperature and humidity, deterioration due to static electricity, and mechanical stress, partial module failure of the display may occur, which is a major cause of missing information of vitally given to citizens. However, there have been frequent cases where the 4-col and 7-row LED Screen that have failed due to reasons such as installed location where the signboards are installed on the road and outdoor, the lack of monitoring means at all times, and the lack of manpower is often neglected for a long time. Following this flow, this paper proposes a method to detect defective modules by analyzing the images collected through the camera fixed to the front part of the LED display.

텍스트 네트워크를 활용한 간호창업 연구동향 고찰 (Analysis of Nursing Start-up Trends Using Text Network Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 간호창업 관련 문헌에서 나타난 간호창업의 관심 주제 및 간호창업 경험의 속성, 간호창업의 방향성을 탐색하기 위해 시행되었다. MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane Library DB를 통해 55편의 간호창업 관련 문헌을 선정하여 덱스트 네트워크 분석 방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 단순출현 빈도와 연결중심성에서 공통적인 핵심키워드는 'business', 'care', 'nursing', 'healthcare', 'service'으로 나타났다. 연결중심성에서 높은 순위를 보이는 키워드는 'mission', 'vision', 'team'으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구결과가 체계적인 간호창업 교육프로그램과 간호창업 이론 개발의 기초 자료로 활용 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 용접기술은 두 가지 재료를 효율적으로 신뢰성 있게 접합시킬 수 있기 때문에 다른 어떤 기술보다 널리 사용되고 있으며, 높은 부가가치를 가져다 준다. 용접계에서는 용접이 국내 산업에 아주 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다고 생각하고 있으며, 이제 21세기에 접어들어서 우리 용접계의 현위치를 파악하고 새로운 장을 열어야 할 때이다. 미국에서도 이러한 준비의 일환으로 에너지성(Department of Energy)의 주도하에 Welding Vision 2020라는 명제를 걸 고 용접분야의 장래에 대한 심포지움과 토의를 하였다. 이 토의의 중심 주제는 20년 후의 용접계의 위상을 그려보며 장기적 연구 분야, 산학계의 정책 방향 등을 모색하였다 여기서 모아진 의견은, 용접계의 발전적인 진전을 위해서는 향후 2020년까지 다음과 같은 숙제들을 극복해야 된다는 것이었다 많은 산업분야에서 용접이 생산 분야의 주된 작업으로 인식시키는 것 - 용접이 용접 기능사의 재능에 의존도를 줄이고 과학적인 용접 기술 도입과 용접 기능사의 체계적 훈련 - 용접 작업환경 개선 - 용접을 과학적 고기술이라는 것으로 일반인들의 인식을 변화 시킴 - 신소재 개발연구시 용접이 같이 고려될 수 있는 환경 조성 - 훌륭한 인재 양성 및 재교육. 본고에서는 미국 용접계에서 분석한 자료들과 장래 연구되어져야 할 방향 및 분야들을 소개하고 현재 진행중인 자료 수집 및 분석의 진행 상황 및 용접계의 현 위치를 파악할 수 있는 몇 가지 자료들을 소개한다. 아울러, 용접계에서 리더쉽을 발휘해야 될 분야중의 하나이며 현재 많은 전문연구가 필요한 용접 역학(Welding Mechnics) 중의 용 접부의 안정성 평가(Integrity Assessment of Welded Joint)에 대한 과제와 연구 동향을 소개하고자 한다.

Experiment on Intermediate Feature Coding for Object Detection and Segmentation

  • With the recent development of deep learning, most computer vision-related tasks are being solved with deep learning-based network technologies such as CNN and RNN. Computer vision tasks such as object detection or object segmentation use intermediate features extracted from the same backbone such as Resnet or FPN for training and inference for object detection and segmentation. In this paper, an experiment was conducted to find out the compression efficiency and the effect of encoding on task inference performance when the features extracted in the intermediate stage of CNN are encoded. The feature map that combines the features of 256 channels into one image and the original image were encoded in HEVC to compare and analyze the inference performance for object detection and segmentation. Since the intermediate feature map encodes the five levels of feature maps (P2 to P6), the image size and resolution are increased compared to the original image. However, when the degree of compression is weakened, the use of feature maps yields similar or better inference results to the inference performance of the original image.

The Impact of Emotional Intelligence Orientation on Audit Sustainability: Empirical Evidence from Vietnam

  • The study investigates and measures the impact of the emotional intelligence orientation on audit sustainability in Vietnam. Survey data for this research were collected from 260 auditors (CPAs) currently working in auditing firms, for the period from April 2020 to July 2020. In this study, we have built a model with two dependent variables (Emotional intelligence orientation and Audit sustainability) and six independent variables (Proactive audit vision, Continuous audit development, Dynamic audit experience, Audit environmental change, Stakeholder expectation pressure, Advocacy culture). The research methods used include Cronbach's Alpha test, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmation factor analysis (CFA) and linear structural model analysis (SEM). The results showed that (1) Proactive audit vision, (2) Continuous audit development, (3) Dynamic audit experience, (4) Audit environmental change, (5) Stakeholder expectation pressure are positively related to emotional intelligence orientation. However, Advocacy culture is not positively related to Emotional intelligence orientation. The findings of this study suggest that emotional intelligence orientation positively impacts audit sustainability (similar to the findings by Thapayom, Ussahawanitchakit, & Boonlua, 2017, 2018 in Thailand). The results of this study provide a scientific basis for managers at auditing firms to make appropriate decisions to improve auditing activities in the coming years.

Generative Adversarial Networks: A Literature Review

  • The Generative Adversarial Networks, as one of the most creative deep learning models in recent years, has achieved great success in computer vision and natural language processing. It uses the game theory to generate the best sample in generator and discriminator. Recently, many deep learning models have been applied to the security field. Along with the idea of "generative" and "adversarial", researchers are trying to apply Generative Adversarial Networks to the security field. This paper presents the development of Generative Adversarial Networks. We review traditional generation models and typical Generative Adversarial Networks models, analyze the application of their models in natural language processing and computer vision. To emphasize that Generative Adversarial Networks models are feasible to be used in security, we separately review the contributions that their defenses in information security, cyber security and artificial intelligence security. Finally, drawing on the reviewed literature, we provide a broader outlook of this research direction.
