재난 대응 특수목적기계의 양팔작업기 제어전략 및 검증 (Control Strategy and Verification of Dual-Arm Manipulator for Disaster-Responding Special Purpose Machinery)

  • We are concerned with the dual-arm manipulation for disaster-responding special-purpose machinery. This paper presents a control strategy for performing complex work in an irregular environment, the control algorithm, the hydraulic circuit, and the master devices. The occurrence of collapse accidents at disaster sites such as natural disasters and building collapses is increasing, which is emerging as a social problem. In particular, for the initial response, various tasks must be performed in an irregular environment. The Marionette algorithm for intuitive control of 'as if the operator's arm is moving' was presented as a control strategy for dual-arm manipulators with attachments and the prototype. Next, the hydraulic circuit, control system, and wearable-type master device presented to implement the Marionette algorithm were explained and verified through an experiment in which rebar-cutting, drum-lifting, and lifting a bottle with one arm and pouring the water into the bucket with the other arm were tested.

Performance study of a simplified shape optimization strategy for blended-wing-body underwater gliders

  • Shape design optimization for Blended-wing-body Underwater Gliders (BWBUGs) is usually computationally expensive. In our previous work, a simplified shape optimization (SSO) strategy is proposed to alleviate the computational burden, which optimizes some of the Sectional Airfoils (SAs) instead of optimizing the 3-D shape of the BWBUG directly. Test results show that SSO can obtain a good result at a much smaller computational cost when three SAs are adopted. In this paper, the performance of SSO is investigated with a different number of SAs selected from the BWBUG, and the results are compared with that of the Direct Shape Optimization (DSO) strategy. Results indicate that SSO tends to perform better with more SAs or even outperforms the DSO strategy in some cases, and the amount of saved computational cost also increases when more SAs are adopted, which provides some reference significance and enlarges the applicability range of SSO.

Japan's Export Regulations and Korea's Investment Attraction Strategy: Focusing on the Parts and Materials Industry

  • Purpose - In this paper, we provide recommendations for Korea's long-term direction and strategic measures to attract inward foreign direct investment (FDI) in response to Japan's export regulations. In doing so, we analyze the current situation and characteristics of trade between Korea and Japan, focusing on the parts and materials industry, which is particularly affected by Japan's trade regulations. Design/methodology - Based on the analysis of five successful inward FDI cases (e.g. Toray, IGK, Delkor, GlobalWafers, DuPont) and statistic trend review in the parts and materials industry, we consider various factors pertaining to successful inward FDI in Korea and propose valuable investment attraction strategies. Findings - For a successful investment attraction strategy, we studied some statistical trends in the internal and external environments of the parts and materials industry and successful investment attraction cases in Korea. We have found that in order to increase the probability of success in attracting investment, we need a mid-to long-term strategy considering multiple factors such as "Production-oriented, Demand-linked, Global Value Chain (VGC) linked, and Policy-linked investment attraction." Originality/value - We suggest several specific measures and important strategic implications for the Korean government and firm's managers to attract inward FDI successfully.

아동 놀이의 국가적 정책화 : 영국의 사례 (Children's Play as a National Policy and Strategy : The Case of the UK)

  • This study reviews policies related to children's play which are being implemented by the UK at a national level from 2008 to 2020. The Department for Children, Schools, and Families, in cooperations with other central government departments and professional organizations, are developing and implementing the strategy. The purpose of the strategy is to improve play opportunities for all children and young people in England by raising the value and status of play in every community. This study examines the strategy by focusing on firstly, the purpose, vision, and steps to be undertaken; secondly, the methods used and the participating organizations; and thirdly, the legal, social, and academic basis upon which the strategy is founded. By way of conclusion, the researcher argues that we need to consider and learn from the case of the UK to come up with desirable polices for children's education and well-being.

지자체 생물다양성 관리전략 구축 (Developing Local Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans)

  • 세계적으로 인간의 활동에 따른 서식지 훼손 및 기후 변화에 의해 생물다양성이 감소하고 있다. 이에 따라, 생물 다양성의 감소를 막기 위해서 국제사회는 생물다양성 협약과 같은 협력 체제를 마련하는 등의 노력을 하고 있다. 지금까지 우리나라의 생물다양성 전략 및 계획은 주로 정부의 주도하에 정책적으로 진행되었으나, 국가에 의한 생물다양성전략은 보수적이며, 실행 계획이 구체적이지 않다는 단점을 가진다. 따라서 지자체 생물자원을 관리하기 위한 방법으로 지자체 생물다양성 관리전략을 제안하였다. 지자체 생물다양성 관리전략 수립을 위한 전략계획 및 세부계획을 제시하기 위해 생물다양성 협약, '2011~2020 생물다양성 전략계획', 우리나라 생물다양성 전략 및 이행계획과 해외 지자체 생물다양성 관리전략 우수 사례를 분석하였다. 결과적으로, 각각의 사례에서 중요하게 제시하고 있는 개별 생물종의 조사 및 보호, 보전지역의 지정 및 모니터링, 통합적 생태네트워크 관리, 생물다양성 전문기관의 설립과 전문가 양성방안, 지역의 인적 네트워크와 전통지식 활성화 방안, 생물산업 육성방안의 추진전략을 도출할 수 있었다. 이러한 지자체 생물다양성 관리전략의 이행은 '2011~2020 생물다양성 전략계획'의 목표를 달성하여 생물다양성을 보전하고 증진하는 데 큰 도움이 될 것이다.

A Study on Problem Analysis for Safe onLine Video Platform Use

  • 2020년 상반기에 코로나 바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 확산 여파로 전 세계적으로 바이러스의 확산을 예방하는 차원에서 학교에서는 비대면 으로 온라인 실시간 수업이 시작하였다. 대부분의 기업 및 학교에서는 온라인 화상 회의 플랫폼을 이용하여 주도적인 회의를 진행하였고, 학교에서도 온라인 수업이 진행되었다. 본 논문 연구는 화상회의에 대한 플랫폼 수요는 높아졌지만 온라인 화상 회의/수업 환경에서 다양하고 유용한 화상회의 프로그램을 이용할 때 제3자의 개입으로 개인정보 유출, 회의 자료 유출, 자료 공유에 대한 문제점을 검토하여 개선하고자 한다. 이 논문에서는 우리는 화상회의 보안 이슈에 대한 안전한 4가지 방법을 제안한다. 1장은 연구의 배경과 목적, 2장에서는 관련 연구로 기존의 온라인 회의 프로그램의 특징에 대해서 살펴보고 3장에서는 온라인 회의 프로그램이 안고 있는 장. 단점을 비교하여 문제점을 분석하였다. 특히, 온라인 화상회의에 대한 다양한 플랫폼 이용 시 관리적인 측면과 보안적인 측면에서 발생할 수 있는 보안 이슈에 대한 문제점을 살펴보고 안전한 대응방안을 제시하였고 4장에서 결론으로 마무리하였다.

국내 대학도서관 진흥을 위한 주요 정책과제 개발 연구 (Exploring Key Strategy Areas for Academic Library Development Planning in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 국내 대학도서관진흥종합계획 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있는 주요 정책과제 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 국내외 대학도서관 발전계획 관련 선행연구 분석을 통해 대학도서관의 비전 및 역할, 정보자원, 연구지원, 교수학습 및 서비스 등의 기본 요인을 도출하였다. 이러한 요인을 기반으로 14개 대학 도서관 사서를 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시한 결과 1계층 4개 분야, 2계층 12개 추진과제, 3계층 24개 세부과제가 도출되었다. 인터뷰에서 도출된 정책과제에 대한 중요도 및 우선순위를 파악하기 위하여 학계 및 현장 전문가 6명을 대상으로 계층적 분석 방법(AHP)을 실시하였다. 그 결과 중요도가 높은 분야 및 추진과제를 중심으로 '학술정보자원 확충 및 공동 활용', '학습·연구지원 큐레이션 서비스 확대', '이용자 중심의 스마트 도서관 서비스 강화', '법·제도적 기반 고도화' 등 4대 분야 및 대학도서관 진흥 및 가치 제고를 위한 분야별 11개 추진과제, 23개 세부과제가 도출되었다.

Does Strategy of Downward Stepping Stair Due to Load of Additional Weight Affect Lower Limb's Kinetic Mechanism?

  • This study measured the downward stepping movement relative to weight change (no load, and 10%, 20%, 30% of body weight respectively of adult male (n=10) from standardized stair (rise of 0.3 m, tread of 0.29 m, width of 1 m). The 3-dimensional cinematography and ground reaction force were also utilized for analysis of leg stiffness: Peak vertical force, change in stance phase leg length, Torque of whole body, kinematic variables. The strategy heightened the leg stiffness and standardized vertical ground reaction force relative to the added weights (p<.01). Torque showed rather larger rotational force in case of no load, but less in 10% of body weight (p<.05). Similarly angle of hip joint showed most extended in no-load, but most flexed in 10% of body weight (p<.05). Inclined angle of body trunk showed largest range in posterior direction in no-load, but in vertical line nearly relative to added weights (p<.001). Thus the result of the study proved that downward stepping strategy altered from height of 30 cm, regardless of added weight, did not affect velocity and length of lower leg. But added weight contributed to more vertical impulse force and increase of rigidity of whole body than forward rotational torque under condition of altered stepping strategy. In future study, the experimental on effect of weight change and alteration of downward stepping strategy using ankle joint may provide helpful information for development of enhanced program of prevention and rehabilitation on motor performance and injury.

An A2CL Algorithm based on Information Optimization Strategy for MMRS

  • Multiple Mobile Robots System (MMRS) has shown many attractive features in lots of real-world applications that motivate their rapid and wide diffusion. In MMRS, the Cooperative Localization (CL) is the basis and premise of its high-performance task. However, the statistical characteristics of the system noise should be already known in traditional CL algorithms, which is difficult to satisfy in actual MMRS because of the numerous of disturbances form the complex external environment. So the CL accuracy will be reduced. To solve this problem, an improved Adaptive Active Cooperative Localization (A2CL) algorithm based on information optimization strategy for MMRS is proposed in this manuscript. In this manuscript, an adaptive information fusion algorithm based on the variance component estimation under Extended Kalman filter (VCEKF) method for MMRS is introduced firstly to enhance the robustness and accuracy of information fusion by estimating the covariance matrix of the system noise or observation noise in real time. Besides, to decrease the effect of observation uncertainty on CL accuracy further, an observation optimization strategy based on information theory, the Model Predictive Control (MPC) strategy, is used here to maximize the information amount from observations. And semi-physical simulation experiments were carried out to verity the A2CL algorithm's performance finally. Results proved that the presented A2CL algorithm based on information optimization strategy for MMRS cannot only enhance the CL accuracy effectively but also have good robustness.
