자동차는 20세기 공업제품의 총아로 일상생활에 필수품이 되었으며 앞으로도 계속 그 위치를 지켜 나갈 것이다. 자동차의 역사는 19세기 말엽에 마차에 내연기관이 말을 대체하는 것으로 그 막을 열었고, 20세기 말엽에 전기전자제어 제품과의 통합으로 또 다른 자동차 세대의 막을 열고 있다. 본문은 자동차 메카트로닉스를 소개하고 그에 관한 21세기의 연구과제를 제시하겠다.

Korea huts been dramatically changed during the last century in many aspect of society, with the introduction of western culture in the beginning of 20th century. This study aims at understanding the changes in our traditional culture shown by costume as well as examining the aspects of the changes of traditional clothing according to age, by comparing the differences of our traditional dress Hanbok between ear1y and the late of the 20th century. Analysis of photographs showing Hanbok of both ages was used. 155 photographs of people wearing traditional Hanbok in the beginning of the 20th century were collected from the photo collection books portraying various living conditions of common people at that time. 748 Photographs of Hanbok worm today were obtained by taking pictures of various occasions like wedding ceremonies in 5 big cities during 1997. The process of analysis consists of 3 stages: setting standards, sorting, and grouping by positioning. The results showed that traditional Hanbok room in the early 20th century has maintained its basic silhouette and design during the century, but the methods of color coordination, ornamentation, construction have underdone many changes in detail. Consequently, traditional frame exits, but actually there are many variations of tradition produced by individual tastes and fashion trend. These changes show that continuing influx of the western culture which has made enormous social changes in Korea had an influence even on Hanbok.

This study describes the acceptance of Hae-Dong-Yu-Yo(海東遺謠), which is a book the 19th century to 20th century, into the genre of poetry. In chapter 2, I searched for lists, constructions and arrangement of poems in Hae-Dong-Yu-Yo(海東遺謠). The book has not only 39 poems (gasa) in Korean, but also more than 20 poems (hansi) in Chinese. I also found two new poems by the editor of the book. This shows that the receiver fully accepts the poetry and that he has equal consideration for Korean songs as well as hansi ones. In chapter 3, I focused on the red and blue points inside letters. When we read only the red and blue points within the poetry, I realized that Hae-Dong-Yu-Yo(海東遺謠) created these for poetry's literary value, not for music or songs. This reveals how the editor of Hae-Dong-Yu-Yo(海東遺謠) received the older famous poems as his own. This shows us the degree of acceptance of Korean classical poetry and songs, and therefore leads us to believe that this can be of use to present learners as well.

원래 촌락과 도시를 포함하는 취락지리학이 인문지리학에서 분화하여 체계화한 것은 19세기 말에서 20세기 초에 걸쳐서이고, 이어서 도시지리학의 발전에 따라서 자연히 취락지리학은 촌락만을 중요대상으로 삼게 되었다. 그래서 해방 30년간에 있어서 우리나라 학계에 있어서도 전반에서는 촌락.도시를 포함하는, 취락지리학 후반 즉 1960년대이후 도시발전기를 맞이하여 도시연구가 활발해짐에 따라서 도시지리학이 분화발달하게 되어, 각 대학의 지리학과에서도 도시지리학강좌가 취락지리학에서 분리신설하게 되었다.

20세기 초반과 중반에 걸쳐 전세계를 전쟁의 참화로 몰아 넣었던 1,2차의 세계 대전은 그 역사적 성격규정을 어떻게 논의하든간에 약육강식의 인위적 폐단을 지양하고 무모한 전쟁으로부터 인류를 보호해야 한다는 더 큰 공통의 명제 앞에 누구도 반론없이 순종했다. 하지만 20세기 말까지 적어도 지역적인 분쟁은 있었지만 국가대 국가간의 그리고 여러 국가가 편을 갈라 싸우는 전쟁을 회피하는데 성공했다.

향기로 치료할 수 있는 향기요법, 일명 아로마테라피. 웰빙이 화두가 되면서 새롭게 떠오른 건강법으로 인식되지만, 향기요법의 역사는 고대 이집트까지 올라간다. 19세기 말, 과학이 발달하면서 합성화학물질에 밀리다가 화학물질의 부작용이 새로운 문제가 되면서 20세기 말부터 다시 떠오르고 있는 건강법이다. 각종 향기가 건강에 미치는 영향은 다르다. 향기를 통해 질병을 잡고 향기로 건강한 생활을 하는 방법을 알아본다. 또한, 향기요법의 활용도를 알아본다.

The purpose of this study is to examine obstacles to progress for 20th century Korean mathematics. In 1945, shortly after Korea was liberated from Japan, there were no Korean mathematics Ph.D. holders, less than ten bachelor degree holders, and only one person with a master's degree in mathematics. We investigate the reasons for this. Korea has to overcome such an unforgiving condition and rebuild quality education programs in higher mathematics over the last several decades. These debilitating circumstances in higher mathematics were considerable obstacles in developing a higher level of mathematical research for the mainstream of 20th century world mathematics. We study policy and curriculums of Korean school mathematics in the late 19th and early 20th century, with some educational and socio-political background.
