There are a lot of raw materials, work-in-processes and finished goods in manufacturing industry. Here, the less stock of materials and work-in-processes manufacturing industry has, the worse the rate of the production is. Inversely, the more manufacturing industry has, the more expensive the cost to support them is. Thus, it is important for us to balance them efficiently. In general, inventory problems are to decide appropriate times to produce goods and to determine appropriate quantities of goods. Therefore, inventory problems require as more useful information as possible. For example, there are demand, lead time, ordering point and so on. In this paper, we deal with an optimal ordering policy on both way substitutable two-commodity inventory control system. That is, there is a problem of how to allocate the produced two kinds of goods in a factory to m areas so as to minimize the total expected inventory cost. The demand of each area is probabilistic, and we adopt the exponential distribution as a probability density function of demand. Moreover, we provide numerical examples of the problem.

In this paper, An LQR controller is proposed for way-point tracking of AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle). The LQR controller aims at tracking a series of way-points which operator registers arbitrarily in advance. It consists of a depth controller and a steering controller and AUV's surge speed is assumed varying to consider the dynamic environment of the underwater. In order to show the performance, a conventional state feedback controller is compared with the proposed controller by the simulation using Matlab/Simulink. The parameters of AUV developed by the author's laboratory are used. In the simulation, we verify that the LQR controller can track all the way-points within 1 m error range under the varying surge speed, which proves the robustness of the LQR controller.

광대역 망에서 범용 TCP를 사용하는 경우 최대 전송 윈도우의 크기가 제한되어 가용한 망 자원이 낭비된다. 이를 해결하는 일반적인 방법은 윈도우 스케일 옵션을 사용하는 것인데 이 경우 송신측의 응용를 수정해야 하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 해결하기 위하여 송신측을 수정하지 않고 전송 윈도우의 크기를 증가시키는 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법에서는 송수신측 사이에 있는 Snoop 게이트웨이가 망의 상태와 수신측의 처리 능력을 동적으로 파악하여 최적의 윈도우 확대 계수를 결정하고, 이 계수에 상응하는 수의 응답 패킷을 송신측에 전송하여 전송 윈도우 크기가 확대된 효과를 얻는다. 특히, 이 방법은 서로 다른 특성을 갖는 망이 snoop 게이트웨이를 사용하여 2-way 세그먼트 방식으로 연동된 환경에서 부가적인 비용없이 단대단 시맨틱을 유지하면서 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.

A segmented scissors type switch has been developed for the urban transit maglev demonstration line to be commercialized near Incheon International Airport in 2013. Based on the design of the previous segmented 3-way switch, the scissors switch is composed of four segmented 2-way switches up/down and left/right and a turn table in the mid point. The main function of the scissors switch is to change the running direction of the train at end terminals. The developed scissors switch is planned to be installed in front of the 102 station, which has a side platform, of the demonstration line. The total length of the switch is 65m and the distance between the up and down track centerlines is 6m. The 2-way switches and turn table are made of steel box type beams, and have their own driving unit, locking unit, control unit, levitation and propulsion rails, and so on. Installed in the factory, a 100,000-cycle continuous operation test was carried out after manual and automatic test operations. The applicapability of the developed switch was verified through the measurements of the linearity of the track after repetitive operations, the mechanical operation noise, the load of the main driving motor, the safety of the control panel, the natural frequency of the girder, the deformation of the girder, and so on.

각종 정보기기들을 공유하여 일원적으로 통합 관리할 수 있는 광대역 정보망의 기술이 요구되고 있다. 이 기술은 여러 채널로 나누어 전송하기 때문에 Computer Network 뿐만 아니라, 화상회의, 원격조정, 원격검침, 2-way CATV 등으로 응용되고 있다 본 논문은 MAN(Metropolitan Area Network), WAN(Wide Area Network)의 핵심 기술로서 FA, OA의 근간이 되며 ISDN의 Subnet가 되는 광대역 지역 정보망의 기술 및 응용 사례를 소개한 것이다.

As an alternative of well-mixed storage tank with lower coil only, we have proposed a tank with lower and upper coils and verified a superior thermal stratification in a tank, which results in increased collector efficiency and solar fraction. But the phenomenon of temperature reversal was often experimentally observed in the tank, so a revised control was successfully applied which is to heat only lower coil using three way valve if temperature reversal occurs and to operate the collector with low flow rate when the condition of solar radiation is not good. In the present study, using TRNSYS we compared the existing lower heating and the proposed lower and upper heating with a control preventing temperature reversal. The results showed that the proposed method has an increase of collector efficiency by 5.1% and solar fraction by 3.2%.

최근 스마트폰, 블랙박스, EDR등에서 자동차 네트워크인 OBD-2를 이용하여 자동차 실시간 제어 데이터를 알 수 있게 되었다. 각각의 장치(스마트폰, 블랙박스, EDR등)에서는 OBD-2에서 자동차 데이터를 수신 받을 때 사용되는 통신은 각각 Wifi, 블루투스를 이용한다. 하지만 각각 통신 네트워크 방식이 달라 만약 사용자가 제품을 바꾸면 OBD-2 커넥터를 새로 사거나 바꾸어야 하는 단점이 존재한다. 본 논문은 이러한 단점을 보완 하고자 각 장치에서 대부분 사용되어 지는 Bluetooth와 Wifi 네트워크를 통합하여 사용자가 1개의 리더기 만으로도 어느 장치에서든지 OBD-2 네트워크에서 자동차 실시간 제어 데이터를 알 수 있는 OBD-2 네트워크의 송, 수신을 위한 통합 하드웨어를 설계 하였다.

Background: It is necessary to find and develop the effective way of intervention for patients with neck pain, since the neck pain is becoming increasingly common throughout the world. To identify the altered motor control in patient with neck pain would be informative to find and develop the effective way of intervention. Objects: The aim of this study was to review literature regarding the altered motor control in patients with neck pain, measured by using surface electromyography (sEMG), ultrasonography, and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and to suggest prospective research work on neck pain. Methods: Case-control (neck pain/healthy) studies published between 2004 and 2015 that investigated neck muscle activation, thickness, cross-sectional area, and fat infiltrate were searched in Scopus, PubMed, and ScienceDirect. Twenty-eight articles were included in this study. Results: sEMG, ultrasonography, and fMRI were used complementarily to investigate the altered superficial and deep neck muscle activation, thickness, cross-sectional area, and fat infiltrate in patients with neck pain. They showed the following altered motor control when compared retrospectively with healthy subjects or during specific functional tasks: (1) increased superficial muscle activation, (2) lesser deep muscle thickness, (3) smaller cross-sectional area of the deep muscle, and (4) greater fat infiltrate in deep muscles. In particular, among the women, the office workers showed higher muscle activation of superficial neck muscles during functional tasks, although they did not have neck pain, than those who were not office workers. Conclusion: Studies revealed that patients with neck pain showed an altered motor control when compared with healthy subjects by using various assessment modalities. Understanding this phenomenon would help researchers design an effective intervention for alleviating neck pain or to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. In addition, we recommend that female office workers take measures to care for their necks before developing neck pain.

The purpose of this study was to design the method of 3D space calibration to reduce RMSE by statistical analysis when using the DLT algorithm and control frame. Control frame for 3D space calibration was consist of $1{\times}3{\times}2m$ and 162 contort points adhere to it. For calculate of 3D coordination used two methods about 2D coordination on image frame, 2D coordinate on each image frame and mean coordination. The methods of statistical analysis used one-way ANOVA and T-test. Significant level was ${\alpha}=.05$. The compose of methods for reduce RMSE were as follow. 1. Use the control frame composed of 24-44 control points arranged equally. 2. When photographing, locate control frame to center of image plane(image frame) o. use the lens of a few distortion. 3. When calculate of 3D coordination, use mean of 2D coordinate obtainable from all image frames.

Dementia prevention is mainly aimed to the people who have various risk factors for developing dementia or who have mild cognitive impairments. The possible methods for this prevention may include the control of dementiarisk factors and the administration of drugs which may suppress the dementia progression. It is noteworthy that people with milc cognitive impairments (MCI) have 10 times higher risk for developing dementia compared to healthy aged people. Thus 25-50% of them may be progressed to dementia within 2-4 years. Here I describe various factors related to Alzheimer dementia, and possible way to control these factors.
