상단 추진 시스템에 적용을 위한 전기펌프 사이클의 국외 연구 동향 (Overseas Research Trends of an Electric-Pump Cycle for Application in Upper-Stage Propulsion Systems)

  • 전기모터를 이용하여 액체로켓 엔진의 펌프를 구동하는 추진제 공급 시스템인 전기펌프 사이클은 시스템 구성이 간단하고 공급 유량 및 압력 제어가 용이한 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 전기펌프 사이클의 국외 연구 동향을 조사하여 분석하였다. 또한 연구개발 국가, 수행기관, 적용 대상, 엔진 추력, 펌프 압력상승, 모터 동력, 회전수 등을 정리하였다. 그 중 0.445~2.2 kN의 추력 범위를 가지는 상단 추진 시스템에 적용한 국외 연구의 설계 변수들은 국내에서 유사한 전기펌프 사이클 연구 시 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

가스인젝션 기술을 적용한 공기열원 가변속 열펌프의 냉방성능 향상에 관한 연구 (The Cooling Performance Enhancement of a Variable Speed Heat Pump Using Gas Injection Technique)

  • In this study, the improvement of cooling capacity by applying gas injection technique in a two-stage heat pump using R410A was experimentally investigated. A twin rotary type compressor with gas injection was applied to the heat pump system. The optimum refrigerant charge for the injection and the non-injection cycles was selected to achieve the maximum COP at the cooling standard condition. The injection cycle showed less optimum refrigerant charge than that of the non-injection cycle. The cooling performances of the injection and the non-injection cycles were measured and compared by varying compressor frequency from 40 to 90 Hz. The cooling capacity of the gas injection cycle was 1.6% -11.3% higher than that of the non-injection cycle. The COP of the gas injection cycle was 13.7% to 28.9% higher than that of the non-injection cycle at the same cooling capacity. The heat pump system showed stable operation after 30% of the injection valve opening.

2단 압축 하이브리드 히트펌프의 특성 시뮬레이션 (Numerical Simulation of a Two-Stage Hybrid Heat Pump)

  • 기존의 증기압축식과 흡수식을 결합한 하이브리드 히트펌프는 $50^{\circ}C$정도의 저열원에서 $80{\sim}90^{\circ}C$의 온수를 효과적으로 생산할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 EES를 사용하여 2단 압축 하이브리드 히트펌프와 1단 압축 하이브리드 히트펌프의 성능을 비교하였다. 동일한 작동조건에서 2단 압축 하이브리드 히트펌프는 1단 압축 하이브리드 히트펌프보다 약간 높은 COP를 가지며 더 안정적인 상태에서 운전이 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 2단 압축 하이브리드 히트펌프에서 작동 유체의 최대 온도는 1단 압축 하이브리드 히트펌프보다 40K정도 낮게 나타났으며 이는 윤활유의 작동에 무리없는 운전상태를 가능하게 한다. 1단과 2단 하이브리드 히트펌프 모두 UA값이 증가할 때 COP는 감소하였으며 열출력은 증가하였다.

Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell 시스템의 환경 전과정평가 (Environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) System)

  • The environmental impacts of a 1 kW polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) system are quantitatively assessed by performing a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study. A PEMFC system produces electricity and heat simultaneously, so an appropriate allocation of associated inputs and outputs is performed between the electricity and heat produced. The environmental impacts of the PEMFC system on the impact categories such as global warming (GW), abiotic depletion (AD), acidification (AC), and eutrophication (EU) are assessed from the life cycle impact assessment. The impact indicator results of the impact assessment on these impact categories are obtained as $3.70E-01kg\;CO_2\;eq./kWh$, 1.86E-03 kg Sb eq./kWh, $4.09E-04kg\;SO_2\;eq./kWh$, and $1.88E-05kg\;PO_4{^{3-}}/kWh$, respectively. For all impact categories studied the most influential stage is the operation stage, which accounts for 98.8%, 98.7%, 70.3%, and 62.3% of the total impact on GW, AD, AC, and EU, respectively. For the impact categories of AD, AC, and EU, most of the environmental impacts during the operation stage is attributed to the production of city gas. However, for the impact category of GW, $CO_2$ emission from the reforming process of city gas is the main reason for the largest contribution of the operation stage to the total impact results.

해수열원 히트펌프 시스템의 냉난방 운전 특성에 관한 실증 연구 (Experimental Study on the Cooling and Heating Operation Characteristics of a Sea Water Source Heat Pump)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the field Operation Characteristics of a sea water heat source cascade heat pump system and system applicable to Building. Cascade heat pump system is composed R410A compressor, R134a compressor, EEV, cascade heat exchanger, Plate heat exchanger etc. Building area is $890m^2$ and has five floors above ground. R410A is used for a low-stage working fluid while R134a is for a high-stage. The system could runs at dual mode. One is mode of general R410A refrigeration cycle in summer and the other is cascade cycle. In order to gain a high temperature supply water in winter season, the system is designed to perform a cascade cycle. The filed test results show that the sea water heat source heat pump system exhibits a COP of about 5.5 in cooling mode along with a heating COP of about 4.0 in 1-stage heating mode. Cascade 2-stage heat pump system is enough to supply $60^{\circ}C$ water and heating COP is about 3.0

Even more important is to assess the environmental characteristics of processes across all stages of their lives. This paper presents a formalism for evaluating the environmental implications of processes at each life stage(a procedure termed "life-cycle assessment").

$CO_2$ 초임계 사이클을 위한 일체형 스크롤 팽창기-압축기 성능해석 (Performance Analysis of Scroll Expander-Compressor Unit for $CO_2$ Transcritical Cycles)

  • In a two-stage compression $CO_2$ transcritical cycle, application of a scroll expander-compressor unit has been considered in order to improve the cycle COP. For both expander and 1st stage compressor, scroll wrap profile which was originally designed for a R410A air-conditioning cycle mechanism was used with minor modifications: wrap height and involute end angle were adjusted for required displacement volume and built-in volume ratio. For pressure condition of 10 Mpa/3.5 MPa and expander inlet temperature of $35^{\circ}C$, 25% improvement in COP was obtained by using expander-compressor unit. As evaporator pressure increased, COP improvement was lowered mainly due to decreasing compressor peformance.

  • 한국 남해안 남해 연안에서 채집한 퇴조개 (Coecella chinensis) 를 대상으로 생식주기, 생식소지수, 비만도지수 및 성비를 조직학적 분석 및 형태 계량학적 자료에 의해 조사하였다. 생식소지수 및 비만도지수의 월별 변화는 생식주기의 월별 변화와 유사한 양상을 보였다. 암컷과 수컷 퇴조개의 생식주기는 초기활성기 (4월), 후기활성기 (5월), 완숙기 (6월), 부분산란기/방정기 (6-8월), 퇴화기 (8월) 및 비활성기 (9-3월) 의 연속적인 6기 (stages) 로 구분할 수 있었다. 본 종의 산란기는 6-8월 이었으나, 주산란기는 수온이 약 $24.5^{\circ}C$인 7-8월이었다. 난경모드 조사에서, 6월에는 특히 70 ${\mu}m$ 정도의 난모세포가 다수 출현하였으나, 7-8월에는 평균 50 ${\mu}m$ 전후의 난모세포가 약 80% 정도 출현하는 대신, 60-70 ${\mu}m$ 전후의 완숙 난모세포는 감소하였다. 암 수 개체들의 성비는 1:1로 유의하게 다르지 않았으며 (${\chi}^2$=1.20, p>0.05), 자웅동체는 발견되지 않았다.

전과정평가(LCA)에 기반한 터치스크린 모니터 스탠드의 친환경적 기구설계 (Eco-Friendly Mechanical Design of Touch-Screen Monitor Stand through Life-Cycle Assessment(LCA))

  • Recent years, many industries acknowledge that environmental substantiality of products must be an essential role and it is one of the major importances for industries to consider the environmental impacts of products at the early stages of product development. This study investigated eco-design parameters and $CO_2-eq$. emissions in each stage of raw material acquisition, manufacturing, transportation, use and disuse in life cycle of touch monitor stand based on Eco-Design. In this study, to fulfill of Eco-Design, the environmental impact assessment of through LCA(Life cycle assessment) was carried out with benchmarking monitor stand and we suggested the direction of new design of touch monitor stand mechanism based on eco-friendly considerations. New design based on LCT(Life Cycle Thinking) showed that the following eco-friendly considerations at the early stage of design to be helpful to reduce GWP(Global Warming Potential) [kg $CO_2-eq$.] in new monitor stand development and it is necessary for Eco-Design process of the product.
