Arylalkanoic acid derivatives are known as good non-steroidal antiinflamatory and antirheumatic agents. The new arylalkanoic acid derivatives were synthesized when 2-chloro-3-($\alpha$-cyano-$\alpha$-ethoxycarbonyl-methyl)-1, 4-naphthoquinone was reacted with some arylamines.
