Lactic acid bacteria that accumulated ${\gamma}-aminobutyric$ acid (GABA) in culture medium were screened to identify strains with high GAB A-producing ability. One strain, MS, which was isolated from kimchi, showed the highest GABA-producing ability among the screened strains. MS was identified as Lactobacillus buchneri based on Gram-staining, metabolic characteristics, and 16S rDNA sequence determination, Optimum culture conditions for GABA production were determined: MRS broth containing 5% MSG, 1% NaCl, and 1% glucose, at an initial pH of 5.0, the incubation temperature at $30^{\circ}C$ for 36 h. Under these conditions, MS produced GABA at a concentration of 251 mM with a 94% GABA conversion rate. Moreover, culture extracts of Lb. buchneri MS partially or completely protected neuronal cells against neurotoxicantinduced cell death.

We describe here an efficient in vitro propagation method of Silene acaulis subsp. arctica (Caryophyllaceae), one of the higher arctic angiosperms, through the multiple shoot regeneration after callus induction from the radicle. The seeds of S. acaulis subsp. arctica collected from Svalbard, the Norwegian Arctic, were germinated and calli were induced from the radicle on solid MS media supplemented with 0.25mg/L 2,4-D and 1mg/L $GA_3$ at both $10{\pm}1^{\circ}C\;and\;23{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ Two weeks after callus induction, the multiple shoots were efficiently regenerated on the MS media supplemented with 0.25 g/L BA and 0.05mg/L HPh. The total biomass increment of regenerated shoots increased most efficiently of S. acaulis subsp. afctica was showed the maximum efficiency in at $23{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ on 1/2 MS salt strength. The multiple regenerated plantlets of S. acaulis subsp. arctics were grown to normal plants on soil.
Embryogenic callus was induced from the cultures of immature embryos of Camellia japonica L. on Murashige & Skoog's (MS) solid medium supplemented with 1 mg/L 2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid (2,4-D), and then the embryogenic callus was proliferated on same medium for 4 weeks over. The embryogenic callus was sub-cultured on MS basal medium without 2,4-D to produce coyledonary stage of somatic embryo. The frequency (%) of somatic embryogenesis was 25.1%, and the majority of somatic embryos formed had a abnormal morphology with cupshaped cotyledon (48.3%), one cotyledon (12.6%), three cotyledons (9.4%), four cotyledons (1.9%), whereas was only normal morphology with two cotyledon (27.5%). When the somatic embryos with normal or abnormal cotyledons transfer to MS basal medium or $\frac{1}{2}$ MS medium with/or without plant growth regulators ($GA_3$, IBA) for regeneration, the frequency (%) of two-cotyledon embryos regenerated into plantlets was higher 11.1% than one cotyledon (0.0~8.3 %), three cotyledons (0.0~5.8%), four cotyledons (0.0%), cup-shaped (0.3~4.2%). These results demonstrated that the anomalous cotyledons of somatic embryos could caused to decrease the rate of plant regeneration.

This paper deals with the physical properties and statistical analysis of waveform parameters of electric and magnetic folds radiated from lightning return strokes. The lightning electric and magnetic fields were detected by an plate-type electric field sensor and a loop-type magnetic field sensor respectively, and they were recorded by a data acquisition system having a resolution of 12bits, a sampling rate of 10[MS/s] and recording length of 10[ms]. As a result, a little difference between the parameters of electric and magnetic fields for positive and negative polarities was observed. The rise times of electric and magnetic fields were within the range of less than $13[{\mu}s]$ and the average values for positive and negative polarities were $4.1[{\mu}s]\;and\;4.2[{\mu}s]$, respectively. The average values of the zero-to zero crossing times were $65.2[{\mu}s]\;and\;67.0[{\mu}s]$, and the average depths of the dip to opposite polarity were 38.0[%] and 40.3[%], for positive and negative polarities, respectively.

Recently, the interest on walking assistances in order to assist aged people has increased due to the increase of the aged. However, most walking aid systems have a weakness for a slope because they don't have power. So, they have a weak point which makes users difficult to move when they are weak in the legs. That is why the interest on walking assistances with power has increased. The use of the walking aid systems should be easy because most users are old people. Thus, we produce module to grasp walking intent of users by using various sensors such as potentiometer, FSR(Force Sensing Resistance) Sensor and Stretch Sensor and calculate the response time to the module. Firstly, the response time of handlebar which is a kind of potentiometer is 420ms and Resilience of it is 140ms. Secondly, the response time of handlebar which use FSR Sensor is 320ms and Resilience of it is 220ms. Finally, the response time of the Stretch Sensor is 160ms and Resilience of it is 140ms. The performance of Stretch Sensor is the best among the three kind of sensors.
In order to survey anthraquinone productivity from in vitro root culture, transformed hairy roots of Rumex crispus were induced from leaf segments by infection with Agrobacterium rhizogenes strain $A_4$ and compared with adventitious roots. The optimum condition of adventitious root formation from leaf segments was 5 $\mu$M NAA added to MS medium. Mannopine was detected in the extract of hairy roots by paper electrophoresis, but not in adventitious roots. Secondary root tips of both adventitious roots and hairy roots elongated without lateral root branching in hormone free MS medium, but primary root tips showed more rapid growth with extensive lateral root branching. MS basal medium was the best for growth of the adventious roots and hairy roots for anthraquinone content. Adventitious root tips and hairy root tips cultured in liquid MS medium supplemented with 0.05 $\mu$M NAA and 0.1 $\mu$M kinetin (contained 5% sucrose) showed the maximal growth and anthraquinone content. Anthraquinone content of hairy roots was increased by the culture periods, but was reduced after 25 days of culture.

Speech discrimination is affected by the speed of speech. The speed of speech can be adjusted at the pause duration, the pause duration can take the resting time to avoid in overloading information. The study will be examine the effects of aging and audiological rehabilitation, and the auditory processing as basic research to investigate the normative data. 7 boys and 8 girls were participated. They have no problem with speech language pathologically and audiologically. There are 4 sets of test implement, and each test set was made out with 20 3-syllable words. Pause duration of all of these words are adjusted in normal(250 ms), slow(500 ms) and very slow(1000 ms). There are 4 words for a multiple-choice that including one word with written correctly and three words with written 1 phoneme wrong. Participant hear the word, and then have to choose one. Speech discrimination score in 250, 500, 1,000 ms of pause duration were $73{\pm}19.4%$, $84{\pm}12.2%$, $88{\pm}8.8%$, respectively.
The aim of the experiment was to study the changes in the activities of various rumen fibre degrading enzymes due to the feeding of chemically treated mustard (Brassica campestris) straw in sheep. Mustard straw (MS) (<5 cm particle size) was treated either with urea (4% (w/w), or with 2% sodium hydroxide (NaOH), or with alkaline hydrogen peroxide (2% NaOH and 1.5% hydrogen peroxide ($H_2O_2$)) and/or supplemented with 2% (w/w) urea. Seven maintenance type rations were prepared using MS (70 parts) with molasses (5 parts) and concentrate (25 parts). They were untreated MS (CMS), urea treated MS (UMS), urea supplemented MS (MSUS), alkali treated MS (AMS), alkali treated and urea supplemented MS (AMS-US), alkali $H_2O_2$ treated MS (AHMS) and alkali $H_2O_2$ treated and urea supplemented MS (AHMS-US). They were then compressed into a complete feed block with the help of block making machine. Forty two male hoggets of Malpura breed sheep were equally distributed into each treatment group and (were) offered feed and water ad libitum. At the end of 21 days of feeding trial, rumen liquor was collected through stomach tube from three animals in each group at 0 h, 4 h, 8 h, 12 h of post feeding. Results showed that the level of enzyme varied from 8.52 to 11.12, 40.85 to 50.37, 3.22 to 3.78, 2.09 to 2.77 and 31.44 to 44.24 units/100 ml SRL respectively for carboxymethyl cellulase (CMCase), $\alpha$-amylase, microcrystalline cellulase (MCCase), filter paper (FP) degrading enzyme and $\alpha$-glucosidase. Processing of MS affected the enzyme activities, in a way, that NaOH and AHP treatment significantly reduced CMCase and FP degrading enzyme. The effect of urea treatment showed an increase in the activity of MCCase and $\alpha$-glucosidase. But the supplementation of urea increased the activity of CMCase, FP degrading enzyme and $\alpha$-glucosidase. The CMCase, $\alpha$-amylase, $\alpha$-glucosidase activities were highest at 4hr whereas MCCase and FP degrading enzyme had maximum activities at 12 h post feeding Results suggested that MS might need longer time in the rumen for its effective degradation.
Perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) have recently been recognized as global environmental pollutants. This study was performed to develop an analytical method for determination of levels of PFCs in food by LC-MS/MS. One hundred and nine food products were divided into two groups based on their fat and protein contents (high and low), following which samples containing high fat and protein contents were pooled and subjected to pretreatment consisting of enzymatic degradation and hexane extraction. The limit of detection of 17 PFCs in the samples were in the range of 0.013-0.145 ng/g. The degrees of precision of detection for group 1 (samples with low fat and protein contents) and group 2 (samples with high fat and protein contents) were 0.8-21.1 and 1.7-28.2%, respectively, with an accuracy of 78.8-109.8% for group 1 and 80-114.5% for group 2. This study indicated that pretreatment of high fat and protein foods with enzymatic degradation and hexane extraction would improve the detection of PFCs in food.
This study purpose was to know the effects 30 aged females forehead ms by SUKI intervention(4weeks). Total tested group were 18 persons, It used for SUKI intervention of SUKI process C1, SUKI process C2, SUKI process C3, SUKI process C4 were adopted three times a week in 4 weeks. The research conclusion like this. EG was a significant difference in forehead ms. Therefore, to maintaining elasticity on forehead ms. showed as some research of SUKI intervention effects for the forehead ms(p<.05). In this study, even though limited, it was judged that wrinkles due to a decrease in elasticity of the forehead ms located on the upper surface of a woman's face in her 30s could have a profound effect on women's external appearance, so SUKI intervention was applied. In addition, the role of the elastic on the forehead ms was to suggest an alternative semester method that can effectively control the management of external appearance by managing which it suitable for the life cycle of women in their 30s. In conclusion, we hope that in the future, various experiments will be used as new research data on how to prevent females facial skin beauty and wrinkles and help improve elasticity of facial ms around the face.
