A series of pentacyclic triterpenoids similar to glycyrrhetinic acid were designed and synthesized via the combination of chemical modification and microbial catalysis. All products were screened for the glycogen phosphorylases inhibitory activities in vitro. Within this series of derivatives, compound 5 displayed good inhibitory activities with $IC_{50}$ value of $27.7{\mu}M$, which is better than that of the other derivatives and glycyrrhetinic acid. Structure-activity relationship (SAR) analysis of these inhibitors was also discussed.

표준형 원자력발전소에서는 원자로 내의 핵연료 봉으로부터 발생하는 열에너지를 열교환기인 증기발생기로 전달하는 원자로냉각재 계통이 있다. 핵연료 봉을 적절한 냉각 상태로 유지하기 위하여 원자로냉각재의 온도와 압력뿐만 아니라 체적을 제어하고 있다. 원자로냉각재 체적은 용량이 큰 반면에 제어하는 밸브의 크기는 작아서 제어 응답이 길어서 현장에서 경험적으로 튜닝하는 것은 매우 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 체적제어루프의 수학적인 모델링을 통하여 오프라인으로 최적 제어 파라미터를 찾고, 실제 적용한 결과를 보여준다. 제어루프 모델링을 위하여 일반화 프로세서 모델 식으로부터 실제 운전 데이터로 모델 파라미터를 결정하는 경험적 방법을 사용하였다. 이로부터 구한 제어 파라미터를 실제 적용한 결과, 적절한 제어 응답을 얻었으며 모델링 과정이 적절하였음을 확인하였다.

본 논문에서는 불리언 모델을 지원하는 정보검색 시스템에서 사용자로부터 입력받은 불리언 질의를 효율적으로 연산하기 위한 3 가지 방법을 제안한다. 첫째, 불리언 대수를 사용하여 형태적으로 불필요한 노드를 제거한다. 둘째 색인어 출현 빈도 정보를 사용함으로써 빈도 0 을 가지는 노드와 이를 포함하는 노드의 연산 제외 여부를 결정하고, 연산 수행 시 시간이 적게 걸리는 순으로 피 연산자와 연산자의 순서를 재배열한다. 셋째, 불리언 질의 내에 복합 명사가 포함되어 있을 경우 구성 명사와 연산자의 조합을 이용한 질의 확장을 실시한다. 처음 두 가지 방법은 검색 속도의 향상을, 세 번째 방법은 정확도의 향상을 목표로 한다.

사실감있는 인체 모델과 동작제어 기술은 컴퓨터 그래픽스와 가상현실감 및 시뮬레이션등의 다양한 응용 분야에서 이용되고 있다. 인체의 모델링과 이의 동작을 제어하는 기술은 관절 구조의 인체를 뼈대와 관절 그리고 이를 둘러싸고 있는 피부로 모델링하고 운동학에 기반하여 각 관절을 제어하여 인체의 동작을 생성한다. 본 논문에서는 인체의 모델링을 위한 스킨-스켈레턴 바인딩 알고리즘을 제안한다. 인체의 골격구조를 관리하기 위한 일반적인 계층적 다관절체 데이터 구조를 설계하고, 골격 데이터에 피부를 입히기 위한 스킨-tm켈레던 바인딩 알고리즘을 설계한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 전처리, 세그멘테이션과 바인딩의 세기능 모듈로 구성된다. 바인딩 가능한 요소들의 효율적인 탐색을 위하여 분할해결 방식을 적용한 후보 테이블을 이용하였다. 20개의 관절로 이루어진 인체 골격 데이터와 Inventor 포맷의 인체 피부 데이터로 알고리즘을 실험하였다.

In this paper, an integrated system for dynamic analysis and optimal design of engine mount systems is presented. The system can simulate static and dynamic behaviors of engine mount systems and optimize design parameters such as mount stiffness, mounting locations with desired design targets of frequency or displacement. A FF-engine with an automatic transmission is used to demonstrate the analysis and optimal design capabilities of the proposed design system.

This paper deals with the lightning surge counter. In order to install the effective surge protective devices, it is important to find the parameters of incident surges. For the purpose of observing the occurrence frequency as a parameter of the amplitude of surge, two type surge counters were designed and fabricated. One is operated by surge currents, and the other is operated by surge voltages. The former consists of current sensor, metal oxide varister (MOV), rectifier, capacitor and electromagnetic counter. The latter consists of rectifier, voltage divider, comparator, photo coupler and counter circuit, and is useful for detecting the surge voltages.

글로벌시대 '세계는 사이버 전쟁중이다'. 사이버냉전이 시작된 것이다. 해커들의 공격에 각국 정부 당국들이 전전긍긍하면서 대응책 마련에 부심하고 있다. 그런 가운데에서도 미 국방부와 국무부가 해커들에 뚫리는가 하면 영국, 독일, 프랑스의 정부 및 주요기간 전산망들을 해커들이 휘젓고 다니고 있어 보안에 빨간 불이 켜진 상태다. 더욱이 우리나라는 유럽 등으로부터 받는 공격도 적지 않지만 중국, 미국이 연습 상대나 놀이터쯤으로 여기고 있는 상대”라고 한다. 인터넷 보급률 세계 1위 명성에 걸 막게 네트워크 구성, 주요 전산망 연결이 얼마나 잘되어 있는가? 충분이 세계 해커들의 시험대상이 되기 충분하다. 이러한 상태에서 사이버 역기능에 대한 해결방안은 주기적 분석.대응 활동을 통해 보안대책을 신속히 추진하는 길만이 사이버안전을 지키는 일이다.

The response surface method (RSM) became one of famous meta modeling techniques, however its approximation errors give designers several restrictions. Classical RSM uses the least squares method (LSM) to find the best fitting approximation models from the all given data. This paper discusses how to construct RSM efficiently and accurately using moving least squares method (MLSM) with sensitivity information. In this method, several parameters should be determined during the construction of RSM. Parametric study and optimization for these parameters are performed. Several difficulties during approximation processes are described and numerical examples are demonstrated to verify the efficiency of this method.

Seoul Bochun Medical Clinic Examined Patient Table' is a statistical data that Kim Young-Boon [1882-1974] put together himself. A total of 59353 cases from 1914 to 1935 were classified according to year and month of examination, and gender. Of the cases 26497 (${\fallingdotseq}$45%) were women and the remaining 32856 (${\fallingdotseq}$55%) cases were men. The most frequent disease examined was cold, followed by diarrhea and stomachache. Of the 639 different kinds of diseases ever examined, 71 had occurred on more than 100 occasions. The percentage that these 71 diseases occupies is an overwhelming 88.75%.
