The field of stem cell research has been rapidly expanding. Although the clinical usefulness of research remains to be ascertained through human trials, the use of stem cells as a therapeutic option for currently disabling diseases holds fascinating potential. Many pediatric gastrointestinal tract diseases have defect in enterocytes, enteric nervous system cells, smooth muscles, and interstitial cells of Cajal. Various kinds of therapeutic trials using stem cells could be applied to these diseases. This review article focuses on the recent achievements in stem cell applications for pediatric gastrointestinal tract diseases.

일반적으로 전기기기는 사람의 스위칭조작으로 작동이 되고 있다. 이를 개선하기 위하여 본 연구는 전기기기의 자동 스위칭과 홈네트워킹을 위한 제어용 임베디드 시스템을 설계하고, 제작하였다. 설계 제작한 제어 시스템은 PIC16F84에서 접근 센서의 입력 신호를 이용하여 전원 단속, 기기의 on/off를 수행하였으며, 내부의 상태를 감지하여 기기의 상태 표시용LED구동, 솔레노이드 밸브의 open/close 기능을 부여하였다. 본 임베디드 시스템은 통신 모듈을 구성하여 PIC의 기능을 강화하면 홈네트워킹용 시스템으로 발전할 수 있다.

This paper proposes a 16-bit ${\times}$ 16-bit multiplier for 2 twos-complement binary numbers with tree-like structure and implements it on a FPGA. The space and time complexity analysis shows that the 16-bit Tree-like multiplier represents lower circuit complexity and computes more quickly than both Booth array multiplier md Modified array multiplier.

국내 고병원성 조류인플루엔자(HPAI, 이하 고병원성 AI)는 '03/'04년을 시작으로 '06/'07년과 '08년, '10/'11년 이후 그해 9월 고병원성 AI 청정국 지위를 회복했지만, 금년 1월 16일 종오리농장에서 또 다시 발생되면서 국내 5차례가 발생되었다. 정부의 발 빠른 방역활동으로 '11.5.16일을 끝으로 고병원성 AI가 종식되면서 정부는 연중 상시방역체계로 방역활동을 강화하고 AI 청정국가를 유지해 왔지만 금년 1월 16일 전북 고창 지역의 2만수 규모 종오리농장에서 고병원성 AI 발생으로 전국 단위로 이동제한 조치가 이뤄졌다. 다음은 과거 AI 발생현황 및 농가 대처방안에 대해 정리(2014.1.22일 기준)한 내용이다.

In this paper, we introduce Satellite Digital Multimedia Broadcasting(S-DMB) system and show the method increasing the channel capacity. To reduce the burden that has to change the existing system, the system has to be offered the Backward-compatibility. This paper show the method using hierarchical 16APSK modulation. And to obtain the reasonable BER performance between existing path(we call high priority) and additional path(we call low priority).

Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis was used to reveal the esterase isozyme patterns of a freshwater snail, Semisulcospira gottschei, in the lake Uiam. From the result with inhibitors, it is tentatively concluded that four types (arylesterase, carboxylesterase, acethylesterase, acethylcholinesterase)of the adult(means of allele per locus=1.16, %polymorphism=16.7, heterozygosity=0.082)was lower than the juveniles(A=1.7, %P=16.7, H$\sub$D/=0.2215).

A method for the determination of 16 residual pesticides in crude deugs was examined. Crude drug was extracted with acetonitrile/water solution and the extract was partitioned between hexane/CH$_{2}$Cl$_{2}$ and NaCl saturated water. The organic layer was passed through cleanup column and subjected to the GC/ECD or GC/NPD analysis. Essential oil components in crude drug interfere with the analysis, and sulfuric acid treatment was adapted to overcome this interference.

A high speed optic scanner capable of 16 frames/sec imaging has been developed for the realization of the infrared thermal Imaging system with a single element infrared sensor. The high speed optic scanner is composed of a rotating polygon mirror for horizontal scanning, a flat mirror mounted on a galvanometer for vertical scanning, and a spherical mirror. It has been experimentally found that the optic scanner is capable of 16 framesllsec imaging with the frame matrix size of 256 x 64.

The diastereoselectivity of addition reaction of crotylmetal reagents to cobalt-complexed acetylenic aldehydes and metal-free aldehydes was examined. The anti-diastereomer was the predominant product when the crotyl metallics were Cr, Sn, and Zr. In THF, the uncomplexed aldehydes normally gave higher anti-diastereoselectivity. However, the cobalt-complex of silicon-substituted propynals with three bulky substituents produced increased proportions of syn-diastereomer. In DMF, the selectivity shifted towards syn-isomer except in the case of dimethylphenylsilyl substituent. When tributylstannane was used in the presence of BF3 etherate, moderate syn- selectivity was observed with uncomplexed aldehydes, but only decomposed products from complexed aldehydes.
