In recent years, ISG (Integrated Starter and Generator) system receives a great attention for electric electrification of normal gasoline vehicle. As a cost-effect machine design, an ISG without a permanent magnet is considered. A 12slot-10pole field-excitation flux-switching synchronous machine (FEFSSM) is designed and analyzed via JMAG. The active parts such as the field excitation coil and armature coil are located on the stator. The rotor part consisting of single piece iron makes it more robust and suitable to apply for high speed motor drive system application coupled with reduction belt. The design target is the motor with a maximum torque of 40Nm, a maximum power of 10kW and a maximum speed of 14000 rpm. In this paper, design optimization method is proposed for high torque capability.

The rapid industrializing of China has helped the development of the industrial economy since 1980. However, the problem is some environmental pollution, such as SO$_2$, TSP, HOx, Dioxin etc, generated by the industrial facilities located in Northeastern China is moving to the Korean Peninsula through the cold air stream during the Asian dust season, This kind of air pollution worsens the environmental pollution of the Korean Peninsula year by year. Therefore, NGO suggests to China that the minimization of the environmental problems linked to both Korea and China has to be discussed. In fact, I would like to suggest that the activity of EMS(ISO14000) should help the environmentally sound '||'&'||' sustainnable development of both countries,

In today's competitive, market-driven world, a company's survival rests in its ability to provide quality performance products accompanied by total customer satisfaction. To satisfy the needs of customers, companies strive for defect free performances. This requires companies establish an integrated quality management system based on ISO 9000, ISO 14000, QS-9000, AS-9000, TL-9000, 100 PPM, and six sigma. This paper suggests that how to integrate implementation of quality certification systems and six sigma is an important approach in the continuous quality improvement, and six sigma efforts have become one of the key success approach. Through the various survey of total quality management system approach, it is intended to provide a chance to benchmark or give a cue on how to conduct the quality management innovation.

In Korea, the management and remedial system of the slope near national road and highway has been studied actively. But in case of the slopes exist at the residential area and local government, there is not exact record of them. So in this study, we carried out analysis about nearly 14000 slopes which were reported by local government as the dangerous area. and went to the field work some of them.

Gypsum has been known as a prominent material for improving alkali soil, and this material can be supplied easily in large scale by recycling waste gypsum plasterboard from construction and demolition sites in advanced countries. In April 2000, in the part of western Jilin Province in China, where alkali soil spread vastly, we conducted a cultivating experiment of corn and rice after treating with granule recycled waste gypsum at six alkali soil fields which total area were 14000$m^2$. We confirmed that pH of soil decreased in a short period and alkali soil changed soft a desirable condition for farm work, and furthermore, gypsum caused to accelerate the growth of a plant, both corn and rice.

High speed rotor test rig was developed for flexible rotor systems which have its bending critical speed at 14000 rpm. In designing the flexible rotor systems, operating speed have to be escaped from the critical speed, due to large vibration. In this paper, dynamic characteristics of the rotor systems were analyzed and compared with test results. And the effect of allison ring damper and rotor balancing were examined both theoretically and experimentally. Finally, the magnitude of vibration was largely reduced at the critical speed.

In order to have competitive advantage for the business firms, companies need to raise competitiveness through the effective distribution and practical use of management resources along with strategic management of integration of existing management systems such as quality and business environment. Upon resulting of questionnaires to expert group, it is definite to have an integration of quality and environment system for the better efficiency of firms, and also recommended to have either a mixture of two systems or build up new integration system through uniform of two systems. The effects of the integrated system can be summarized as an increase of company image, efficiency of system operation, simplification of system management, synergy effects on the integration.

Under WTO we are confronted with the upcoming of the infinite competition and the opening of education market. In order to meet such new changes, more and more university in education industry participate in the certification of ISO 14000. This paper presents an effective approach to obtain the ISO 14001 environmental management system, summarized as follows: First, the top manager should understand the environmental problems and motivate all personnels. Second, a systematized environmental management system should be constructed in accord with actual circumstances of firms, and should be improved continuously by means of effective operation, internal audit and management review. Third, an environmental policy should be published, the environmental programs should be established following an environmental objective, target and they should be monitored regularly.

E.U(Europe Union) and I.S.O(International Standard Organization) have promoted environmental problems from an individual enterprise level to international level. E.U have practiced E.M.A.S(Environment Management Audit Scheme), they have explained environmental information to local residents by an environmental statement and they have introduced verification system by identification person. One year later, I.S.O have published ISO 14000 series by environmental audit in 1996. Modem enterprise must go well with profitability and sociality. Environmental accounting was appeared in order to agree with profitability and sociality. Environmental accounting is to solve environmental problems, to protect natural resources, to measure effect of environment, and to transmit information of environment. Accountability's theory must be based social fairness and systemic legality. We need the accountability in order to system of Environmental accounting. But the conception of environmental accounting and accountability are not defined in our country. Therefore the purpose of this study is to established the relation of environmental accounting and accountability.

In these days, there is doubt about the effectiveness of ISO-9000 and ISO-14000 which are generally introduced in korean corporation by the consensus and even by corporations themselves. In order to find out the reason about the doubt, we should understand the present situation, and consider what countermeasure shall we take. It's obvious that if there is no doubt about the effectiveness and availability for quality system authenticated and verified by the international, then all the authentication can be made from that excellent system. In that case, it is necessary to find out whether it only exists in Korea or it generally exists internationally. This thesis considers the problems and try to search for a system management project and measure which is suitable for Korea.
