Lymphocytic interstitial pneumonia (LIP) is a rare benign lymphoproliferative disorder characterized by diffuse infiltration of the pulmonary parenchymal interstitium by polyclonal lymphocytes and plasma cells. LIP has been associated with a variety of clinical conditions; such as connective tissue disorders and other immune system abnormalities. Treatment usually involves administration of corticosteroids and other immunosuppressants. We report on a 38-year-old female patient who complained of shortness of breath, dry mouth, and dry eyes for more than 1 month, and was positive for Raynaud's phenomenon. Based on surgical biopsy, she was diagnosed as having LIP accompanied by $Sj{\ddot{o}}gren^{\prime}s$ syndrome. The patient was treated with high-dose steroids followed by maintenance therapy for approximately 2 years, and her condition improved.

Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) is an acute, mostly self-limiting infection. Patients usually recover without any sequelae. However, a few cases are life threatening, especially those caused by enterovirus 71 (EV71). A 12-month-old boy was admitted to a primary hospital with high fever and vesicular lesions of the mouth, hands, and feet. After 3 days, he experienced 3 seizure episodes and was referred to our hospital. On admission, he was conscious and his chest radiograph was normal. However, 6 hours later, he suddenly lost consciousness and had developed a massive pulmonary hemorrhage that continued until his death. He experienced several more intermittent seizures, and diffuse infiltration of both lung fields was observed on chest radiography. Intravenous immunoglobulin, dexamethasone, cefotaxime, leukocyte-depleted red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma, inotropics, vitamin K, and endotracheal epinephrine were administered. The patient died 9 hours after intubation, within 3 days from fever onset. EV71 subgenotype C4a was isolated retrospectively from serum and nasopharyngeal swab by real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. Here, we report a fatal case of EV71-associated HFMD with sudden-onset massive pulmonary hemorrhage and suspected encephalitis.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effectiveness of Korean medical treatments on chronic glossitis using Yanggyeok-sangagam based on tutakbeop(透托法), and Ikgibohyeol-tanggagam based on botakbeop(補托法) and bobeop(補法). Methods : We treated a 83-year-old female patient who had glossitis by Korean medicine and acupuncture treatment. These treatments were performed from 2020.8.4. to 2021.3.4. We have confirmed the improvement of white plaque like a pseudomembranous pattern lesion and pain. We recorded images that include change of symptoms. Results : After the treatments were done, the scores of numeric rating scale(NRS), oral assessment guide(OAG) and oral health impact profile-14(OHIP-14) were decreased. The NRS score was decreased from 7 to 1. The OAG score was decreased from 20 to 9. The OHIP-14 score was decreased from 34 to 5. Conclusions : According to the result, Korean medical treatments such as Korean medicine and acupuncture treatment, followed by the cure rules- tutakbeop(透托法), botakbeop(補托法) and bobeop(補法) can be effective for the treatment of chronic glossitis.

본 연구는 재난주관방송사인 KBS의 코로나19 관련 보도의 '유형 및 형식', '전문성', '감염병 관련 사안'이 어떻게 나타나는지 '발각', '확산', '회복'이라는 세 시기를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 총 473개의 언론보도를 분석한 결과, 세 시기 모두 감염병 사실을 있는 그대로 알리는 '스트레이트 보도'와 '정보전달 프레임'이 높게 나타났으며 위험 상황을 전달함에 있어서도 '감정적 전달'보다는 '사실전달' 프레임의 비중이 높았다. 하지만 2기에서 감염병 원인을 특정 개인이나 집단에 귀인시키는 '도덕적 평가 프레임'의 비중이 상대적으로 높게 나타났으며, 여전히 전문기자보다 비전문 기자의 비율이 압도적으로 높은 것으로 드러났다. 한편 감염병 관련 사안은 '감염 관리'에 대한 내용이 가장 많았고, '대처'에 관한 정보는 상대적으로 적었다. 본 연구는 위 결과를 바탕으로 향후 감염병 보도를 함에 있어 '보도의 심층성 및 전문성 고양', '특정 주체에게 도덕적 책임을 귀인시키는 보도 행태의 지양', 그리고 '다양한 감염병 관련 정보의 종합적 제시'라는 함의를 제언하였다.

PTA, CS, PAS, SM (KM 또는 TUM) 4제 요법의 임상효과를 알고자 지난 5년동안 국립 공주 병원에 입원하였던 도말양성 환자중 추적 가능한 112명을 대상으로 한 조사에서 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 균 도말검사상 64%가 음전을 나타내었고 그 시기는 85%가 3개월 이내에 이루어졌다. 방사선 소견은 반응이 없는 경우가 약 반 정도이었으며, 세균학적 검사를 함께 고려하여 판단할 때 62% 정도만이 양호한 결과를 나타내었다. 양호한 결과는 병력이 짧고 내성정도가 적을수록 좋았다. 그리고 병력이 오래된 환자의 재치료 처방은 적어도 3제 이상의 감수성을 가진 약제를 선택해야 되며, 두가지 이하의 감수성이 있는 경우는 INH 단독 요법등의 고려가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

This report is briefly thied to introduce the kinds of clothes for the body of deceased and special features of remains in the era of the middle of Yidynasty found in Changheung IM's tomb, and some remarks related to the conservation treatment for shrouds as well. The contents of this report are summed up as follows:1. Included with the clothes of dead body of IM's clan were 2 pcs. Of woman's jacket, 2 pcs. of underpants, 1pcs. of single layered overcoat twithout cotton, 1pcs.of women's overcoat with a single layered thin cotton inside, women's socks, cushoned mattress, straw shoes and other hemp fabrics etc. By the observation of these remains, it is considered that they dressed the deceased with new cloth taken from the unsuals not prepared specially and stored beforehand for such as occasion as does it nowadays.2. As to the conservation treatment, the materials were comparatively good and so they employed general tank washing method with special neutrality liquid soap(made by Lab, of Household Products, Pacific R & D Center) for cleaning imbrued matrials on the clothes. After cleaning and drying naturally at a shade place, remains put into apaulowania tree box were fumigated by mixed gas (M. B. + E. O.) for prevention of damages from fungi and insects.3. Desirable environment control for scientific conservation of such kinds of cellulose textiles is to be illuminated at below 50Lux, temperature 16-18℃, relative humidity 45-60%($\pm$4%) and removed the dust. For the prevention of the damaging fungi and insects, it is desirable to fumigate by mixed gas (M.B.+E.O.) once a year.

Objectives : This study was performed to report the effect of oriental medical treatments on the 4 patients with lateral epicondylitis of the elbow. Methods : The 4 patients were treated by Bee Venom acupuncture, Dong-Qi acupuncture, acupuncture on tender points of the origin of the extensor carpi radialis and taping on the extensor carpi radialis. The state of patients was measured by visual analog scale(VAS), elbow range of motion(ROM) and patient's subjective symptom grade(PSSG). Results : After mean 9.5 times of treatments, the recovery of elbow ROM was measured and significant pain relief was seen as the average of VAS changed from 10 to 1.25 and average of PSSG changed from 2.75 to 0.5 grade. Conclusions : These results suggest that oriental medical treatments including Bee Venom acupuncture, Dong-Qi acupuncture, acupuncture, taping are effective to improve the lateral epicondylitis of the elbow.

This report evaluated the convenience and accessibility of a penile translocation surgery in the lateral recumbency of a calf using a tilt-up mobile compared with that of dorsal recumbency on the ground of a barn. One nine-month-old F-1 (Korean native sire x Holstein dam) calf was sedated with xylazine (0.03 mg/kg, IV) and restrained in the right lateral recumbency position on a tilt-up restraint mobile (90 cm high), whereas the other nine-month-old Korean native calf was administered xylazine (0.3 mg/kg, IV) and restrained in dorsal recumbency position on the ground of a barn, with assistance by one person. For the two calves, lidocaine was administered subcutaneously from the preputial orifice to the S-shaped penis. The preputial orifice was incised, and the preputial sheath and penis were separated bluntly, then laterally translocated to the site toward the left flank at a $40^{\circ}$ angle. Anti-inflammatory drug (ketoprofen) and antibiotics (penicillin) were administered following the surgery. The duration of surgery was 30 min shorter in the calf that received the surgery in lateral recumbency using the tilt-up mobile with operator's standing posture (60 min) than the one that underwent surgery in dorsal recumbency on the ground with operator's bending posture (90 min). One week after the surgery, the operation area, including the translocated preputial orifice, was healed without complications in both cases. The results detailed in this report demonstrate that penile translocation surgery in the lateral recumbency position using a tilt-up mobile might be used conveniently in calves due to the convenience of restraint, reduced surgery time, and reduced physical inconvenience for the surgeon.

Multicentric chondrosarcoma other than the mesenchymal subtype is rare separate entity. We experienced a case with nonmonomelic synchronous multicentric chondrosarcoma without any preexisting lesions of Oilier's disease or Maffucci's syndrome. To our knowledge, there was no report of synchronous nonmonomelic multicentric chondrosarcoma. A thirty-three year old man had right distal thigh pain of one and half year. Bone scan showed hot lesions on medial condyle of right femur and shaft of left femur. Plain X-ray showed osteolytic lesion on right femur and slight cortical thickening and calcific lesion was observed on left femoral shaft. Curettage and bone cement filling was done on both lesions. The pathology reports were grade I chondrosarcoma on both side of femur. At one month from operation, pathologic fracture of left femur occurred on bone cement-host bone junction. Conservative treatment and radiotherapy of 60Gy was done. At 8 months from operation, nonunion was evident. Segmental resection of left femur with contralateral fibula graft and second look operation on right condyle lesion were done. At 6 months from revision, fracture occurred at host-graft bone junction. We removed previous hardware and applied long DCP and massive autogenous bone graft. Afterwards, the patient looks good and union was progressing. But at 4 years from last operation, hypertrophic nonunion occurred. Another revision was done with condylar plate and bone graft and now he is well without any sign of local recurrence or metastasis.

Purpose: This study investigated the mediating effect of family support in the relationships of anxiety and depression with maternal-fetal attachment among pregnant women admitted to the maternal-fetal intensive care unit (MFICU) in Korea. Methods: The participants were high-risk pregnant women with a gestational age of at least 20 weeks who were admitted to MFICUs in Busan and Yangsan. The Korean versions of four measurement tools were used for the self-report questionnaire: Spielberger's State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, Cobb's family support measurement, and Cranley's maternal-fetal attachment scale. Data were collected from June 22 to September 20, 2020. Out of 124 participants, data from 123 respondents were analyzed. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis were done. Results: The average age of participants was 34.1 years. Their anxiety level was moderate (43.57±11.65 points out of 80) and 53.6% were identified as having moderate depression (average 10.13±5.48 points out of 30). Family support was somewhat high (average 43.30±5.03 points out of 55). The average score of maternal-fetal attachment was also somewhat high (73.37±12.14 points out of 96). Family support had a partial mediating effect in the relationships of anxiety and depression with maternal-fetal attachment among high-risk pregnant women admitted to the MFICU. Conclusion: Maintaining family support is challenging due to the nature of the MFICU. Considering the mediating effect of family support, establishing an intervention plan to strengthen family support can be helpful as a way to improve maternal-fetal attachment for high-risk pregnant women admitted to the MFICU.
