The demand of liquified natural gas is increasing due to environmental issues. This reason has resulted in increasing the capacity of liquified natural gas cargo tank. The Mark-III type primary barrier directly contacts liquified natural gas. Also, the primary barrier is under various loading conditions such as weight of liquified natural gas and sloshing loads. During a ship operation, various loads can cause fatigue failure. Therefore, the fatigue life prediction should be evaluated to prevent leakage of liquified natural gas. In the present study, the fatigue analysis of insulation system including primary barrier is performed using a finite element model. The fatigue life of primary barrier is carried out using a numerical study. The value of principle stress and the location of maximum principle stress range are calculated, and the fatigue life is evaluated. In addition, the effects on the insulation panel status and the arrangement of knot or corrugation are analyzed by comparing the fatigue life of various models. The insulation system which has best structural performance of primary barrier was selected to ensure structural integrity in fatigue assessment. These results can be used as a design guideline and a fundamental study for the fatigue assessment of primary barrier.

We have developed XeCl laser pumped double-resonator Dye laser and two-stage amplifier system, and generated simultaneously of alternatively two wavelengths suitable in DIAL system. The developed double-resonator is composed of 1st and 2nd diffraction orders on light incidence angle in grazing-incidence grating method with 1200 g/mm. We have obtained spectral linewidth below 10 pm and the total efficiency dependent on pump energy over 6%. The tuning ranges dependent on 1st and 2nd diffraction orders are 434~470 nm and 436~468 nm, respectively. The amplification gain and rine-450 dye laser by using the double-resonator laser system and measured the distribution of $NO_2$ concentration over Suwon as the result of transmission of laser output of 6 mJ in this DIAL system. Consequently, we have confirmed that the developed dye laser system is very useful as the tunable source for DIAL.

Cognitive radio (CR), which is proposed as a technology that utilizes the frequency resources effectively, has been studied to relive scarcity of the frequency resources. Also, FCC revises the regulation to reuse the TV white spaces for applying CR system and allows to use the TV white spaces by CR devices and use of CR device may be regularized after conversion by DTV in 2009. In order to reuse the TV bands without harmful interference to primary user, correct spectrum sensing should be needed to detect DTV signals that is the primary user in TV bands. In this paper, we detect the DTV signal using FFT-based pilot sensing and cooperative sensing scheme is applied for the reliability of the sensing performance and the accuracy of the detection probability. Also, in order to make the reliable decision, the majority rule is proposed.

최근 멀티미디어 기술의 발전으로 인해 영상을 효율적으로 검색할 수 있는 영상 데이터베이스 시스템이 정보화 사회의 중요한 핵심 기술로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 내용기반 영상 데이터 검색을 위한 영상 특징 추출 방법으로 색상 정보와 모양 정보를 고려하는 다단계 영상 검색 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템에서는 2단계로 이루어진다. 1단계에서는 색상 정보를 위해서 Striker 등이 제시한 색상 분포 특성을 이용한 색인 방법의 문제점을 보완하고 확장하여 지역 색상 분포 특성을 고려한 색인 방법을 사용하여 1차로 영상을 대 분류한다. 2단계에서는 1단계에서 대 분류된 집단 영상들에 대하여 2차로 모양 정보를 이용하여 사용자가 질의한 영상과 유사한 영상을 최종적으로 검색한다. 모양 정보를 위해서는 기존 불변 모멘트의 문제점인 많은 연산량과, Jain 등이 제시한 방향 히스토그램 인터섹션 방법에서 제기된 회전에 민감하다는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 물체의 윤곽선에 해당하는 화소들만을 대상으로 연산을 수행하는 향상된 불변 모멘트(Improved Moment Invariants: IMI)를 이용한다. 실험 영상으로 300개의 상표 영상을 사용하여 기존 방법들과의 비교 실험을 통해 향상된 검색 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

This paper presents the methods to acquire the Safety Certificate from Independent Safety Assessment based on the IEC or EN standard which is commonly applied to railway system for Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system in accordance with ERTMS/ETCS Level 1 system. This also shows approach methods and relative activities for project lifecycle to accomplish and ensure the system requirements of ATP system, RAMS and system quality activities. These kind of activities for quality assurance of ATP system to obtain Safety Certificate could improve the quality of domestic railway system based on On-Board system of ERTMS/ETCS Level 1 and also contribute to the growth of railway business.

한국산 동백나무겨우살이(Pseudixus japonicus) 추출물의 암치료를 위한 생약으로서 활성 유효성을 검증하기 위하여 메탄올, 석유에테르, 클로로포름, 초산 에틸 용매로 순차적으로 추출하여 겨우살이 추출물의 다섯 가지 분획을 얻어, 이에 대하여 in vitro로 1차와 2차 검색 시스템을 사용해 항암활성 성분을 체계적으로 검색하였다. 다섯 가지 분획 중 클로로포름 가용성 분획이 1차 검색 세포인 $P388D_1$에 대해 가장 높은 항암활성을 나타내어 MSB1, NIH/3T3, SNU-1, SNU-C2A 등 2차 검색 시스템에 대해 클로로포름 가용성 분획의 항암활성을 다양한 농도하에서 비교 검색하였다. 혈액암 세포중 특히 $P388D_1$의 생장이 클로로포름 추출물에 의해 강하게 저해되었으며, 형질전환된 생쥐의 태아 섬유아세포와 사람의 대장암, 위암세포들도 어느 정도의 생육저해를 나타내었다. 이 클로로포름 가용성 분획의 주성분은 원소분석, 발색시약과의 반응, IR, GC-MS, $^{13}C$-NMR의 스펙트럼의 결과로 세 종류의 알칼로이드 화합물로 확인되었고, 부성분으로는 지방산 메틸 에스테르와 프탈라이드 화합물이 MS 스펙트럼을 통해 동정되었다.

현재까지 연구되고 있던 정보보호관련분야의 계량화방법을 좀 더 다른 방법으로 접근하여, 정보시스템 환경 하에서 보안 및 관리 운영 평가 지수에 계량화하여 1차 집단과 2차 집단간의 차이를 연구하였다. 정보화 관련항목에 대하여 빈도 분석을 적용함으로서 군별, 항목별 분류를 통한 항목 비례 가중치법을 산출하였다. 또한, 선지정 가중치법을 이용하여, 보호지수와 관리운용지수에 따른 상관관계를 조사하여 안전관리 지수를 계량화 하였다.

1차부터 3차에 이르는 국가지리정보체계 사업을 추진해 오는 동안 가장 큰 결과물 중의 하나가 정부 부처들이 각기 구축한 산림, 지적, 토지이용 등과 같은 공간정보 데이터베이스들이다. 이들 데이터베이스의 공유를 통해 자원효율성을 높이기 위해서는 연계 통합 방안이 필요하다. 본 연구는 데이터베이스의 물리적 통합(강결합 방식)이 아니라, 약결합방식에 의한 데이터베이스 연계시스템을 통해 통합서비스를 제공하는 시스템을 소개한다. 이 시스템은 데이터베이스 연계 중요성이 증가하는 시점에서 다양한 요구에 대응하는 데이터를 생성 관리함으로서 정보의 재사용성을 증가시키고, 정보의 최신성을 유지시킨다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
