  • 1 차원 자성 포토닉 결정은 원하는 파장에서 큰 페러데이 회전각과 투과율을 얻을 수 있기에 아주 흥미롭다. 두 종류의 유전체 층(S: $SiO_2$, T:T $a_2$ $O_{5}$)을 주기적으로 적층한 구조에, Bi를 다량 치환한 가네트 박막(M:B $i_{1.07}$ $Y_{1.93}$F $e_{5}$ $O_{12}$)을 결함층으로 삽입한 (A/B)$_{k}$ M/(B/A)$_{k}$ 의 구조를 갖는 1차원 자성 포토닉 결정의 자기 광학 특성을 수치해석하였다. 가시광과 적외선 영역에서 1차원 자성 포토닉 결정의 자성체 층의 두께( $d_{M}$ )와 유전체 층의 적층수(k)를 변화시키며, 투과율(T)과 페러데이 회전각($ heta$$_{F}$ ) 및 성능지수(Q)를 조사하였다.   • Information can be visualized as information technology and computers have recently made dramatic improvements. Thanks to the brisk effects of providing information in 3D on the web with the technological developments of Web 3D and virtual reality implementation in the Internet, there has been the trend to present geographic information in images and 3D. In this study, the Web 3D GIS technique was adopted in analyzing the current state of urban landscape and examining and predicting the urban landscape affected by new urban development businesses. As a result, it was expected that the study would be able to help the government agencies to reduce their errors in making urban landscape plans and policies and implementing them to provide objective and visual data, and to come up with a simulation system that could be used to reflect the residents opinions in plans and policies.

  • 현재 상용으로 많이 사용되는 p-type 태양전지는 Dopant로 사용된 Boron이 $O_2$와 결합하면서 Light induced degradation이 발생하여 태양 전지 효율의 감소를 불러일으키는 단점이 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 여러 가지 방법들이 제시되었는데 일반적으로 n-type wafer를 이용함으로써 Light induced degradation을 해결하는 방법이 주로 사용된다. n-type 태양전지를 제조함에 있어서 보다 높은 효율을 달성하기 위하여 태양전지 후면 구조에 local contact 개념을 도입하여 rear local emitter를 형성함으로써 전체적인 효율 증가를 도모하였다. 이러한 local contact을 제조하기 위해서는 전기적으로 구조적으로 고려할 사항들이 여러 가지 존재한다. 따라서 우리는 이러한 고려 사항들을 실험적인 방법으로 결정하는 것이 아니라, 정교한 변수 통제를 이용한 시뮬레이션으로 최종적인 효율 상승을 가져오는 조건을 찾으려고 한다. 이때 사용될 수 있는 시뮬레이션은 여러 가지 종류가 존재하는데 우선 상용 태양전지의 해석에 가장 많이 사용되는 PC1D프로그램이 있다. 그러나 PC1D의 경우에는 1차원의 해석만 가능하기 때문에 local contact의 2차원 이상의 구조 변화에 따른 최종적인 효율을 계산하는데 무리가 따르게 된다. 따라서 2차원 이상의 형상에 대한 분석이 가능한 프로그램을 이용하여 실제 셀에서 일어나는 현상을 더 정밀하게 모사함으로써 local contact에서 일어나는 전기적, 구조적 변화가 최종적인 효율에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 파악해볼 것이며, 어떤 구조를 선택하였을 때 가장 높은 효율을 달성할 수 있는지 알아보려고 한다.

The Research about Map Model of 3D Road Network for Low-carbon Freight Transportation (저탄소 화물운송체계 구현을 위한 3차원 도로망도 모델에 관한 연구)

  • The low-carbon freight transportation system was introduced due to increase traffic congestion cost and carbon-dioxide for global climate change according to expanding city logistics demands. It is necessary to create 3D-based road network map for representing realistic road geometry with consideration of fuel consumption and carbon emissions. This study propose that 3D road network model expressed to realistic topography and road structure within trunk road for intercity freight through overlaying 2D-based transport-related thematic map and 1m-resolution DEM. The 3D-based road network map for the experimental road sections(Pyeongtaek harbor-Uiwang IC) was verified by GPS/INS survey and fuel consumption simulation. The results corresponded to effectively reflect realistic road geometry (RMSE=0.87m) except some complex structure such as overpass, and also actual fuel consumption. We expect that Green-based freight route planning and navigation system reflected on 3D geometry of complex road structure will be developed for effectively resolving energy and environmental problems.

  • 본 논문은 시뮬레이터 각 계통 모델을 개발하고, 개발된 각 모델링 실행파일을 실시간으로 실행하며, 각 계통 모델의 건전성 시험을 용이하게 수행하기 위해 개발중인 시뮬레이션 환경을 소개하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 개발중인 시뮬레이션 환경은 울진 표준형원전 시뮬레이터의 전 계통을 모델로 하고 있으며, 현재 각 계통 변수 데이터베이스 제어프로그램, 멈춤/실행 (Freeze/Run), 운전상태의 저장 (Snapshot), 임의의 변수에 대한 동적인 변수값 도시 (Display), 각 계통 실행파일들의 실시간 제어, 3차원 실시간 형상화 툴 등 여러 기능이 있으며, 영광1호기 최적운전분석기 등의 시스템에 이미 활용중이다. 본 시스템의 구축으로 모든 시뮬레이션 모델 및 각종 코드의 실시간 실행/빠른실행/느린실행 등의 개별 운전모드 시간조정도 가능해져 시뮬레이터 모델 이외에도 기존의 사용 프로그램의 통합등 다양한 응용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

  • Recent spatial information technology has brought innovative improvement in both efficiency and accuracy. Especially, airborne LiDAR system(ALS) is one of the practical sensors to obtain 3D spatial information. Constructing reliable 3D spatial data infrastructure is world wide issue and most of the significant tasks involved with modeling manmade objects. This study aims to create a test data set for developing automatic building modeling methods by simulating point cloud data. The data simulates various roof types including gable, pyramid, dome, and combined polyhedron shapes. In this study, a robust bottom-up method to segment surface patches was proposed for generating building models automatically by determining model key points of the objects. The results show that building roofs composed of the segmented patches could be modeled by appropriate mathematical functions and the model key points. Thus, 3D digitizing man made objects could be automated for digital mapping purpose.

A Study on the Extraction of Parasitic Capacitance for Multiple-level Interconnect Structures (다층배선 인터커넥트 구조의 기생 캐패시턴스 추출 연구)

  • This paper are reported a methodology and application for extracting parasitic capacitances in a multi-level interconnect semiconductor structure by a numerical technique. To calculate the parasitic capacitances between the interconnect lines, we employed finite element method (FEM) and calculated the distrubution of electric potential in the inter-metal layer dielecric(ILD) by solving the Laplace equation. The three-dimensional multi-level interconnect structure is generated directly from two-dimensional mask layout data by specifying process sequences and dimension. An exemplary structure comprising two metal lines with a dimension of 8.0$\times$8.0$\times$5.0$\mu\textrm{m}^3/TEX>, which is embedded in three dielectric layer, was simulated to extract the parasitic capacitances. In this calculation, 1960 nodes with 8892 tetrahedra were used in ULTRA SPARC 1 workstation. The total CPU time for the simulation was 28 seconds, while the memory size of 4.4MB was required.

  • Construction worker safety and safety training continue to be main issues in the construction industry. In order to promote safety awareness among workers, it is imperative to develop a more effective and efficient safety training. This study compared two methods in construction worker safety training: 1) a conventional lecture and 2) 3D simulation through Building Information Modeling. Both training methods included the same contents, a selection of safety standard and guide suggested by Occupational Safety and Health Agency and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency; the contents were then produced into two types of training methods. A survey was conducted targeting on safety managers, in which the managers evaluated lifelikeness, active learning and enjoyment that each of training methods can promote. The results of the survey showed that innovative method using 3D simulation was more effective than conventional lecture method in terms of its lifelikeness, active learning and enjoyment. This study will provide implications that innovative method using the virtual reality is more effective than conventional lecture method.

Effect of Dimension in Optimal Dimension Reduction Estimation for Conditional Mean Multivariate Regression (다변량회귀 조건부 평균모형에 대한 최적 차원축소 방법에서 차원수가 결과에 미치는 영향)

  • Yoo and Cook (2007) developed an optimal sufficient dimension reduction methodology for the conditional mean in multivariate regression and it is known that their method is asymptotically optimal and its test statistic has a chi-squared distribution asymptotically under the null hypothesis. To check the effect of dimension used in estimation on regression coefficients and the explanatory power of the conditional mean model in multivariate regression, we applied their method to several simulated data sets with various dimensions. A small simulation study showed that it is quite helpful to search for an appropriate dimension for a given data set if we use the asymptotic test for the dimension as well as results from the estimation with several dimensions simultaneously.

Analysis of the GPS Error Effect through Simulation (시뮬레이션을 통한 GPS 오차의 영향 분석)

  • The position accuracy is primarily dependent on the satellite position and signal delay caused by several elements. To know the effect of the delay on the estimated positions, we simulated GPS raw data (RINEX) with GPS errors using Bernese ver5.0. GPS errors used in this paper are Ionospheric delay, Cycle slip, Troposphere, DOP and Random error. If the baseline is short, the position error according to TEC is not large, since the ionospheric delay effect can be removed by ion-free combination. However, if the baseline is long, 3 dimensional position error up to 10cm is occurred. The 3D position error of coordinates with cycle slip is hardly ever changed up to 60% of cycle slip. Because the simulated cycle slips are equally distributed on satellites, the positioning was not seriously affected by the cycle slip. Also, if percentage of cycle slip is 60%, three dimensional error is sharply increased over 1m. The position error is calculated by using the observation data (2 hours) which was selected by DOP less than 3. And its accuracy is more improved about $3{\sim}4cm$.
