In this paper, with the reference of the pulse wave acquired by the pulse-checking device, it is measured the impedance on the key measuring points of the 12 kyungmaks of the human body's left and right by using 24-channels Yangdorak machine. Then, based on the Fuzzy theory, this study diagnosed the each meridian's strength and weakness. After that, both the strengthening and weakening stimulus of magnetic fields are applied to the dominant direction to find out how the degree of strength and weakness of the meridian changed. Ultimately, the magnetic therapy that can stimulate the magnetic field at the time of diagnosis and thereby balancing the interactive of five-system(O-hang) have been materialized. For the stimulation of magnetic fields, a stimulating device which can change the direction and time on a specific part of the key measuring points of the limbs of 24 kyungmaks have been developed and used. The therapeutic methods are as follows. First, the strength and weakness of the meridian have been determined. Second, both the extremely weak meridian of Yin(Shade) and Yang(Shine), and the extremely strong meridian of Yin and Yang were adjusted by applying appropriate ascending and descending stimuli respectively. All these adjusting processes can now be carried out automatically on a personal computer(PC).

This paper considers the consturction of 24/25 I-NRZI (Interleaved - Non Return to Zero Inverse) modulator designs for DVCR (Digital Video Cassette Recorder), and size of validity bit in order to store the amplitude value of square-wave and the standard data ( sine and cosine coefficients) at ROM Table that to acceptable the spectrum standard. The validity bit size of the standard data and the amplitude value of square-wave that to store at ROM Table are affected the size of pilot signal on the output spectrum, and the hardware size of modulator. At the designable 24/25 I-NRZI modulator, we simulated using random pattern (F0,F1,F2) that to verification the output data of the spectrum. Moreover, the resultant of the spectrum analysis, at the optimizing value, is 0.065 on the amplitude value of square-wave, and 3bit on the size of bit in order to store the standared data at ROM Table. In order to verify the hardware of designable 24/25 I-NRZI modulator, we perform to modeling of C-language firstly, and coding to Verilog HDL (Cadence Verilog XL) and synthesized using Synopsys (Library "Samsung KG75") tool as a base of spectrum results. In a foundation of this result, we are considered the size of hardware. In this paper, a considerable 24/25 I-NRZI modulator designable less than 10,000 gates as that is improved consturction as regards the path method of pre-coder etc, and able to application digital camcorders as now practical use.
In order to evaluate cold tolerance and to counter measure the cold damage of newly released rice varieties, the effects of degree and duration of low temperature at the meiotic stage on the sterility and ripening of rice spikelets were investigated and the results were as follows: 1. As the temperature was lowered and the duration of low temperature was extended during the meiotic stage, the heading dates were delayed and the sterility were increased. The main factor for the low yield due to low temperature was due to the increased sterility, and under the below $15^{\circ}C$, the delayed heading was also responsible for the low yield. 2. The sterility and delayed kernel development of rice were increased when grown at $15^{\circ}C$ for six days. 3. The newly released rice varieties were highly sensitive te low temperature damage during the meiotic stage. The treatment of rice at $15^{\circ}C$ for four days might be used as a perameter to evaluate the low temperature tolerance of rice varieties.
Purpose: Developments in micro/macrostructures of implants and surgical techniques brought out stable outcomes of implant dentistry. The aim of this study was to evaluate the distributions of implant patients, the types of implanted sites, and the success or survival rates of various implant systems and to analyze the implant placement done at each specificintraoral site and situation. Materials and Methods: The data of dental implantations collected between 1992 and 2006 at the Department of Periodontology in 00000 University Hospital were analyzed. Results: 1. Largest part of the patients were at the age of 40s and 50s in bothgender who lost their teeth mostly by periodontaldiseases and caries at the posterior intraoral sites as major ones. Bone densities of type II(mandible) and III(maxilla) were likely to be seen with quantity of type B. Lengths of the implants between 10 and 15 mm and wide platform took the largest part. 2. Survival rates of $Implantium^{(R)}(98.8%)$, $Xive^{(R)}(100%)$ and ITI $TE^{(R)}(100%)$ were high when $Frialit-2^{(R)}$ showed 82%(poor bone density area) or 87.2%(combined with additional therapy). $IMZ^{(R)}$ had lowest cumulative survival(67.5%) and success rate(49.4%) amongst all. 3. Replacement with 2 wide or 3 regular platforms showed no significant differences in survival rate and marginal bone loss atmandibular posterior area. In single restoration of mandibular second molar, 5-year success rate of machined surface $Br{\aa}nemark^{(R)}(70.37%)$ was lower than that of rough surface $ITI^{(R)}$ SLA(100%). 4. Replacement of single tooth in anterior area showed high survival rate of 94.5%. 5. The success rates of $Br{\aa}nemark$ Ti-Unite and ITI SLA at posterior maxilla with poor bone density both showed stable outcomes. 6. 10-year cumulative survival rate of implants with maxillary sinus augmentation by lateral window approach appeared to be 96.60%. Low survival rate(75%) was shown when there were more than two complications combined. Height of grafted bone remained stable above the implant apex. Conclusions : Rough surfaced implants showed stable outcomes in most of the situation including poor bone density and additional therapy combined.
During the regrowth the process after mowing, NRA in the leaf was the highest activity from the 5th day to the 7th day. Before mowing, the NRA in the root was not almost detected. But, the NRA in root appeared a rapid increasing activity from the 3rd day to the 4th day after mowing ( Figs.27 ~ 32). During the regrowth process after mowing, a general tendency of AA in the aboveground parts appeared an increasing tendency from the 1st day to the 4th day, a rapid increasing tendency from the 7th day to the 8th day reaching its peak, and a decreasing rate on the 8th and 9th day reaching its peak, and a decreasing rate on the 8th and 9th day. But the AA in the root appeared rapid increasing rate from the 2nd day to the 7th day, the heginning of reagrowth, this tendency showed a similar figure in the case of Total Soluble Carbohydrate ( TSC) in the internode. Both AA and NRA were appeared recovery stage frorn the 8th day after mowing(Figs.15~20). During the regrowth process after mowing, changes of the maximum plant lengths were 18.27cm in the 6cm mowing plot on the 24th day after mowing, 18.83cm in the 3cm mowing plot on the 18th day after mowing, and 18.16cm in the 6cm mowing plot on the 14th day after mowing ( Fig.2). During the regrowth process after mowing. changes in Dry Matter (DM) contents in leaf and stem were a slow decreasing tendency from the 1st day to the 4th day. From the 5th day to the 8th day it appeared a rapid increasing tendency. And afterward until the 15th day. All treatments were reached at a steady state ( Figs.3 ~ 8). During the regrowth process after mowing, changes in the TSC contents of stem and crown were a slow decreasing tendency from the 1st day to the 5-6th day. Prom the 7th to the 8th day three was a rapid increasing tendency. And afterward until the 15th day there was a decreasing rate at a steadyv state. In root there was a similar tendency to that of leaf and stem organs. A general tendency in internode, the TSC content appeared a similar figure to increment of AA (Figs. 9 - 14). During the regrowth process after mowing, changes in te Crude Proem (CP) content of ahoveground parts appeared a slow increasing tendency from the 1st day to the 5-6th day, where it is peak. And afterward to the 15th day there was a decreasing rate at a steady state. But, in toot there were a contrary tendency to that of aboveground

We have tried to measure the anti-dandruff effect of the several kinds of formulations by determining the MIC values of the P. ovale which was determined by resazurin(alarmar Blue$^{TM}$). To get high reproducibility, it was suggested that about 2.6$\times$10$^{5}$ cfu/$m\ell$ of P ovate should be incubated with alarmar Blue$^{TM}$, optimum dilution ratio between alarmar Blue$^{TM}$ and PBS buffer should be 1:1 -1:4, and optimum incubation time should be 16 ~ 24 hours. Even though 1:1 diluted alarmar Blue$^{TM}$ was incubated with P ovale, the metabolic activity of if ovule was not inhibited by alarmar BlueTM. The Minimum Inhibitory Concentration(MIC) values of several kinds of anti-dandruff formulation which were the mixture system between Zinc pyrithione and Climbazole make it possible to determine the optimal anti-dandruff formulation, which show similar results with that of microscopic MIC determination and that of SDDM(Skin-Disk Diffusion Method). It is expected that the anti-dandruff test method which uses alarmar Blue$^{TM}$ could be used as an effective in vitro test method because it was not so much affected by the turbidity of the broth and samples, and it can afford the MIC values of many samples within relatively short time by using microplate reader.te reader.
In this paper, we have reported two interesting flow effects arising in the TRFGE sequence using water flow phantom. First, we have shown that the TRFGE sequence is indeed not affected by "in-flow" effect from the unsaturated spins flowing into the imaging slice. Second, the enhancement of "in-plane flow" signal in the readout gradient direction was observed when the TRFGE sequence was used without flow compensation. These two results have many interesting applications in MR imaging other than fMRI. Results obtained were also compared with the results obtained by the conventional gradient echo(CGE) imaging. Experiments were performed at 4.7T MRI/S animal system (Biospec, BRUKER, Switzerland). A cylindrical phantom was made using acryl and a vinyl tube was inserted at the center(Fig. 1). The whole cylinder was filled with water doped with $MnCl_2$ and the center tube was filled with saline which flows in parallel to the main magnetic field along the tube. Tailored RF pulse was designed to have quadratic ($z^2$) phase distribution in slice direction(z). Imaging parameters were TR/TE = 55~85/10msec, flip angle = $30^{\circ}$, slice thickness = 2mm, matrix size = 256${\times}$256, and FOV= 10cm. In-flow effect : Axial images were obtained with and without flow using the CGE and TRFGE sequences, respectively. The flow direction was perpendicular to the image slice. In-plane flow : Sagittal images were obtained with and without flow using the TRGE sequence. The readout gradient was applied in parallel to the flow direction. We have observed that the "in-flow" effect did not affect the TRFGE image, while "in-plane flow" running along the readout gradient direction enhanced the signal in the TRFGE sequence when flow compensation gradient scheme was not used.
In recent years the number of patients waiting for organ transplantation has greatly outpaced the supply of human organs available, which leads to a renewed interest in pig-to-human xenotransplantation as an alternative. However, one of the biggest barriers in the xenotransplantation is presence of porcine endogenous retroviruses(PERV) that can infect human cells. In this study, to present a possible solution for this problem we tried to inhibit expression of PERVs using shRNAs(short hairpin RNA) at the level of RNA synthesis and virus release. The shRNA targeting the sequence of PERV A, B type was cloned into pSIREN-RetroQ vector under the control of polymerase-III U6-RNA gene promoter. Quantitative real-time PCR was performed to detect my alterations in mRNA production of PERV A, B targeted by the shRNA in each done. Depending on the target sequence of the shRNA, the transcription of PERV was decreased to as much as 4% and the number of progeny viruses was reduced to less than 1/200,000. Transgenic pigs producing such shRNAs may result in a highly reduced PERV expression in cells and organs, which is a prerequisite for safe xenotransplantations.
Endogenous 84 amino acid parathyroid hormone(PTH) is synthesized as a pre-pro hormone by the chief cells of the parathyroid glands. Physiological actions of PTH include regulation of bone metabolism, renal tubular reabsorption of calcium and phosphate, and intestinal calcium absorption. In addition, PTH stimulates new bone formation by extraordinary stimulation of osteoblastic activity and decreasing calcium excretion by the kidney. In this study, we constructed and tested retrovirus vectors designed to express the human parathyroid hormone(hPTH) gene under the control of the tetracycline-inducible promoters. To increase the hPTH gene expression at turn-on state, woodchuck hepatitis virus posttranscriptional regulatory element(WPRE) sequence was also introduced into retrovirus vector at downstream region of either the hPTH gene or the sequence encoding reverse tetracycline-controlled transactivator(rtTA). Transformed primary culture cells(porcine fetal fibroblast, PFF, chicken embryonic fibroblast, CEF) were cultured in the medium supplemented with or without doxycycline(tetracycline derivative) for 48 hours, and induction efficiency was measured by comparing the hPTH gene expression level using two step RT-PCR and ELISA Higher hPTH expression($3{\tims}10^4\;pg/ml,\;5.3{\times}10^4\;pg/ml$) and tighter expression control(up to 8 fold) were observed from the vector in which the WPRE sequence was placed at downstream of the hPTH gene. The resulting tetracycline inducible vector system may be helpful in solving serious physiological disturbance problems which have been a major obstacle in successful production of transgenic animals.

In this study, the removal of Cs and Tc from a simulated fission products (FP) solution which were co-dissolved with U during the oxidative-dissolution of spent fuel in a mixed carbonate solution of $(Na_2CO_3-NaHCO_3)-H_2O_2$ was investigated by using a selective precipitation method. As Cs and Tc might cause an unstable behavior due to the high decay heat emission of Cs as well as the fast migration of Tc when disposed of underground, it is one of the important issues to removal them in views of the increase of disposal safety. The precipitation of Cs and Re (as a surrogate for Tc) was examined by introducing sodium tetraphenylborate (NaTPB) and tetraphenylphosponium chloride (TPPCl), respectively. Precipitation of Cs by NaTPB and that of Re by TPPCl were completed within 5 minutes. Their precipitation rates were not influenced so much by the temperature and stirring speed even if they were increased by up to $50^{\circ}C$ and 1,000 rpm. However, the pH of the solution was found to have a great influence on the precipitation with NaTPB and TPPCl. Since Mo tends to co-precipitate with Re at a lower pH, especially, it was effective that a selective precipitation of Re by TPPCl was carried out at pH of above 9 without co-precipitation of Mo and Re. Over 99% of Cs was precipitated when the ratio of [NaTPB]/[Cs]>1 and more than 99% of Re, likewise, was precipitated when the ratio of [TPPCl]/[Re]>1.
