The Development of Interactive Ski-Simulation Motion Recognition System by Physics-Based Analysis (물리 모델 분석을 통한 상호 작용형 스키시뮬레이터 동작인식 시스템 개발)

  • In this research, we have developed a ski-simulation system based on a physics-based simulation model using Newton's second law of motion. Key parameters of the model, which estimates skier's trajectory, speed and acceleration change due to skier's control on ski plate and posture changes, were derived from a field test study performed on real ski slope. Skier's posture and motion were measured by motion capture system composed of 13 high speed IR camera, and skier's control and pressure distribution on ski plate were measured by acceleration and pressure sensors attached on ski plate and ski boots. Developed ski-simulation model analyzes user's full body and center of mass using a depth camera(Microsoft Kinect) device in real time and provides feedback about force, velocity and acceleration for user. As a result, through the development of interactive ski-simulation motion recognition system, we accumulated experience and skills based on physics models for development of sports simulator.

Three-dimensional Locomotion and Drilling Microrobot Using Electromagnetic Actuation System (전자기 구동 시스템을 이용한 마이크로로봇의 3차원 이동 및 드릴링)

  • In this study, a novel electromagnetic microrobot system with locomotion and drilling functions in threedimensional space was developed. Because of size limitations, the microrobot does not have actuator, battery, and controller. Therefore, an electromagnetic actuation (EMA) system was used to drive the robot. The proposed EMA system consists of three rectangular Helmholtz coil pairs in x-, y- and z-axes and a Maxwell coil pair in the z-axis. The magnetic field generated in the EMA coil system could be controlled by the input current of the EMA coil. Finally, through various experiments, the locomotion and drilling performances of the proposed EMA microrobot system were verified.

Picture Analysis of Motor Control's Property about the Motion of Stop-jirugi and Push-jirugi (끊어 지르기와 밀어 지르기 동작의 운동 제어적 특성에 대한 영상 분석)

  • This research differentiate the technique of Jungkwon-jirugi, one of the basic movements of Taekwondo, into two movements stop-jirugi and push-jirugi and gives analysis of the impulse, acceleration and velocity in the point of motor control. For this, we tried graphic analysis using an acceleration sensor and high speed camera which was made from USA in 2005 and took pictures at 250 frames per second. We reached the following conclusions. First, the acceleration wave of push-jirugi was a period longer than stop-jirugi, meaning that the push-jirugi motion asserts force for a longer time. Second, the acceleration and velocity graph shows that the highest velocity occurs on the point when the acceleration begins to decrease right after reaching its maximum. Third, according to the image analysis using the high speed camera, we could find out that the shoulder is pushed a little even in the stop-jirugi motion.

Fabrication of Ceramic Line Pattern by UV-Nanoimprint Lithography of Inorganic Polymers (무기고분자의 나노임프린트법에 의한 세라믹 선형 패턴의 제조)

  • The SiC-based ceramic nanopatterns were prepared by placing polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) mold from DVD master on the spincoated polyvinylsilaeane (PVS) or allylhydridopolycaybosilane (AHPCS) as ceramic precursors to fabricate line pattern via UV-nanoimprint lithography (UV-NIL), and subsequent pyrolysis at $800^{\circ}C$ in nitrogen atmosphere. As the dimensional change of polymeric and ceramic patterns was comparatively investigated by AFM and SEM, the shrinkage in height was 38.5% for PVS derived pattern and 24.1% for AHPCS derived pattern while the shrinkage in width was 18.8% for PVS and 16.7% for AHPCS. It indicates that higher ceramic yield of the ceramic precursor resulted in less shrinkage, and the strong adhesion between the substrate and the pattern caused anisotropic shrinkage. This preliminary work suggests that NIL is a promissing route for fabricating ceramic MEMS devices, with the development on the shrinkage control.

  • Initial shape analysis for cable-stayed bridges should be able to find optimizated initial cable forces and unstrained length that minimize deflection and bending moments of the deck and pylon. Comparison study of an improved initial force method and TCUD method for determination of initial cable forces in cable-stayed bridges is presented in this paper. For this purpose, an elastic catenary cable element and a nonlinear frame element are firstly described. And concepts and algorithm of two analysis methods are then presented. Finally to demonstrate the validity and the accuracy of two methods, numerical examples for initial state problems of cable-stayed bridges are given and compared based on these methods.

그래핀-탄소나노튜브 혼성 나노구조 합성

  • 그래핀은 저차원계 구조에서 기인하는 뛰어난 전기적, 물리적, 기계적 성질을 지니고 있어 실리콘 기반 기술을 대체할 전계 효과 트랜지스터 이외에도 투명전극, 초고용량 커패시터, 전계방출 디스플레이 등 다양한 응용분야에 적용 가능하다. 최근에는 이러한 응용 연구분야에서 그래핀과 탄소나노튜브 각각의 단점을 최소화하고 장점을 극대화하기 위한 그래핀-탄소나노튜브 혼성 나노구조에 대한 연구들이 진행되고 있는 추세이다. 이전 연구들에서 환원된 그래핀 산화물(Reduced Graphene Oxide, RGO)을 이용한 그래핀-탄소나노튜브 혼성 나노구조가 제작되었는데, 이는 RGO의 제작과정에서 복잡한 공정과 긴 합성과정이 요구될 뿐 아니라, 복합 물질에서 탄소나노튜브의 밀도 제어가 어렵다는 단점을 지닌다. 또한 현재까지 제작된 그래핀-탄소나노튜브 혼성 나노구조의 경우, 열 화학기상증착법으로 합성된 다층(few-layers)의 그래핀과 탄소나노튜브 혼성 나노구조를 제작하였다 [1-6]. 본 연구에서는 우수한 전기적 특성을 가진 단층(monolayer)의 그래핀을 열 화학기상증착법으로 합성한 후, 그래핀 위에 단일벽 탄소나노튜브를 성장시킴으로써 그래핀-탄소나노튜브 혼성 나노구조를 제작하였다. 합성된 그래핀-탄소나노튜브의 구조적 특징은 주사 전자 현미경과 라만 분광기 측정을 통해 확인하였고, 촉매의 표면 형상 및 화학적 상태는 원자힘 현미경과 X선 광전자 분광법을 통해 확인하였다. 또한 그래핀 기반의 전계 효과 트랜지스터의 경우, 상온에서 그래핀은 우수한 전하 이동도를 가지며 웨이퍼 스케일에서 제작하기 쉬우나 밴드 갭이 없으므로 높은 Ion/Ioff를 가지는 그래핀 기반의 트랜지스터를 만드는 것이 과제이다. 반면 탄소나노튜브는 큰 에너지 갭을 가지고 있으므로 높은 Ion/Ioff를 구현하는 소자 제작이 가능하다. 그리하여 제작된 그래핀-탄소나노튜브 혼성 나노구조의 소자 제작을 통해 전기적 특성을 조사하였다.

EXB 하전입자빔 에너지 필터의 광학 특성

  • 직선운동하는 하전입자의 진행방향에 수직한 평면상에 서로 직교하는 전기장과 자기장을 걸어주면, 하전입자에는 전기장에 의한 힘 $F_E$와 자기장과 속도 v에 의한 로렌츠력 $F_B=q(v{\times}B)$가 동시에 작용하게 된다. 이때 Wien 조건 $F_B=-F_E$를 만족하는 질량 $m_A$과, 에너지 $E_A$를 가지는 하전입자 A는 휘지 않고 직선운동을 계속하나, 하전입자 A와 다른 에너지 $E_B(=E_A+{\delta}E)$나 질량 $m_B$ $(=m_A+{\delta}m)$을 가지는 하전입자는 휘게 되며, 그 휘는 정도는 ${\delta}E$${\delta}m$에 비례하게 된다. 이 현상을 이용하여 다양한 종류의 에너지 또는 질량 분석기가 독일, 미국, 일본 등의 분석기기 선진국에서 개발되어 왔고, 전자현미경의 이미지 필터로도 활용되고 있으며, 통상 EXB 필터 또는 발명자의 이름을 딴 Wien 필터로 불리어지고 있다. $E{\times}B$ 필터는 일반적인 하전입자빔 렌즈와 다른 광학특성을 가진다. 예를 들면 3차 이상의 기하 수차만 가지는 일반 렌즈와는 달리 $F_B$, $F_E$ 전자기력에 의해 다양한 2차 기하 수차를 가지게 되며, 초점거리 등의 1차 광학 특성도 일반 렌즈와는 다른 경향을 보여준다. 본 발표에서는 $E{\times}B$ 필터의 전후로 각각 6극자+4극자를 조합시킨 보정기를 배치시켜 필터의 에너지 분해능의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있음을 빔 궤도 방정식을 분석적으로 계산하여 보여준다. 위 에너지 필터 구성에서 4극자는 1차 광학 특성을 조정하는 역할을 하며 6극자는 2차 수차를 줄여주는 역할을 한다. 수치해석을 통해서는 6극자+4극자를 조합시킨 보정기와 $E{\times}B$ 필터의 좀더 정확한 전극 전압 등의 제어 수치를 추출하고, 빔 궤도 방정식 분석을 통한 수차 보정 알고리즘이 유효함을 보여준다.

Influence of the Silver Line Dance Effects on the Elderly Balance During Static Standing (여성노인들의 라인댄스 활동이 정적 직립 균형성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of line dance activity on the balance factors during static standing to reveal the exercise intervention for fall prevention. A 15-week line dance programme was applied to 16 elderly females who aged more than 65 years in the community. Balance ability during static standing was evaluated by the range of center of pressure(cop), the velocity of cop, and sway area that calculated on the basis of ground reaction force data, forces, and moments. The range and velocity of cop in the anterio-posterior were significantly reduced after line dance(p<.01, p<.05, respectively), but change in those of cop in the medio-lateral was not found. It was demonstrated that 16-week line dance activities allow more effective in anterio-posterior stability and sway area of static standing. It was suggested that the effect of fall prevention exercise should be studied more associate with fall from vestibular and sensory system as future study.

  • The role of the turnouts installed on the points of railway branches and intersections is to safely switch the directions of trains. In case of abnormal forces applied to the turnouts due to extreme operating conditions, it is difficult in the current system to conduct accurate diagnosis and measuring. Moreover, the existing measurement devices for turnout switching power are mostly based on foreign technologies, which provide only limited information on the switching power; this information is insufficient for effective monitoring and maintenance. In this paper, through an analysis of the characteristics of the switching and locking function, the problems in turnout power measurements of current electrical point machines in Korea are examined. And based on the results, a new sensor-based method for measuring switching power is proposed.

  • With the development of game technology, the realistic game graphics, interface technology, and various content services with immersion are being required in the content area. NUI has been developed through CLI and GUI. Unlike the conventional methods, it is an interface that could be the intuitive and realistic interface for human as a natural action realized. we propose a boxing simulation game using leap motion of it. Providing a realistic 3D experimental environment through VR headsets game, we also propose a method that can be calculated the scores if the user-controlled interface (fist) could be to punch the target (sandbag) of the internal in accordance with changes of the angle of target impact with the physical characteristics.
