  • 시설원예의 궁극적인 목적은 인위적인 환경조절을 통해 주년생산과 단위면적당 생산성을 증대시키면서 품질향상을 극대화시키는 것이라 할 수 있다. 특히, 시설원예의 주년생산과 관련하여 냉ㆍ난방에너지의 절약에 관한 많은 연구가 수행되어 왔으며, 현재 많은 냉ㆍ난방장치들이 실용화되어지고 있다. 그 중에서, 여름철의 적극적인 냉방방법으로 증발냉각방식, 히터펌프, 에어컨 등이 농가에 보급되어 널리 이용되고 있으나 항상 경제성에 있어서 문제점으로 제기되고 있으며 이런 경제적인 부담을 줄이고자 냉방장치의 보조적 수단으로서 차광시스템이 널리 이용되고 있는 실정이다.   • 열공압 방식으로 동작하는 마이크로 펌프와 밸브가 집적된 (polydimethylsiloxane)PDMS 미 세 유체 시스템을 제작하였다. 본 실험에서 제안한 미세 유체 시스템은 PDMS 마이크로 채널, PDMS membrane, 열공압 챔버, indium tin oxide(ITO) 히터로 구성되어 있다. 마이크로 펌프의 경우 가해주는 펄스 전압의 변화를 통해 유속을 최적화 하였고 마이크로 밸브의 경우 가해주는 직류 전압을 변화시켜 유체의 흐름을 제어할 수 있었다. 미세 유체 시스템의 최적화된 조건은 마이크로 펌프의 경우 duty 4%와 주파수 4Hz에서 최대 pumping rate을 나타냈고 그때의 pumping rate 68nl/min이었다. 마이크로 밸브의 유체를 closing 전력은 450mW이었다.

  • The observation satellites which uses high heat-dissipating equipment such as synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites require a radiator to transmit heat from the equipment into outer space. However, during cold conditions it requires a heater to maintain the temperature of equipment within the allowable minimum limit when it is not in operation. In this study, we proposed a variable conductivity radiator that changes its thermal conductivity value through movement of the liquid metal between two reservoirs based on the temperature condition. This reduces the power consumption of the heater by limiting heat transfer path to the radiator in cold condition, while effectively transferring heat to the radiator during hot condition. The feasibility of the proposed radiator was validated through comparison of the thermal control performance with the conventional fixed conductivity radiator via a thermal analysis.

  • 초전도케이블의 기술적 경제적 타당성에 대한 논의가 계속 진행되고 있는 가운데 이를 검증하기 위한 실계통 시험이 미국, 중국 및 일본을 포함한 주요 선진국들에서 이루어지고 있다. (1) 대용량 송전 및 절연성능 측면에서 장점을 가지고 있는 초전도케이블이 실제계통에서 적용한 예가 지금까지 많지 않은 이유는 막대한 초기투자 비용과 함께 신기술 도입에 따른 기술적 신뢰성 확보를 꼽을 수 있다. 특히 케이블 자체의 전기적 특성과 함께 냉각시스템의 신뢰성은 초전도케이블 기술의 상용화를 위해서 반드시 확보되어야 하며 냉각시스템의 고효율와 함께 장기운전에 따른 냉각시스템의 안정성 및 기기적 특징들이 우선적으로 파악되어야 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 냉각시스템의 신뢰성을 검증하기 위한 실험의 일환으로 전류와 냉각시스템에 내장되어 있는 히터를 이용하여 열부하를 동시에 인가, 냉각시스템의 냉각용량 과부하 상태를 모의하여 냉각시스템의 반응성을 평가하였다.

Analyzing System of Fuel Filter Based on Temperature and Pressure Measurement for Diesel Cars (온도 및 압력 측정에 기반을 둔 디젤 차량의 연료필터 분석 시스템)

  • In this paper, temperature, pressure and flow analysis system for testing a fuel filter of a diesel engine at the low-temperature environment in winter, is proposed. The light oil of diesel engine below a specific temperature is changed to the waxing materials like paraffin, and it prevents engine to start easily because of reducing fluidity. Thus, built-in block heater should be installed with fuel filter in order to solve this problem. And it is necessary to design evaluation system that can analyze the performance according to temperature, pressure and flow characteristics near fuel filter at a very low temperature. In this paper, we measured a physical quantity related to the performance of around the fuel filter using the proposed system, and analyzed their characteristics. Also the measured data is transferred to remote user by using a web server of embedded systems, and analyzed their conditions in remote place via web browser in order to know the operating status of fuel filter. We installed the proposed system in a small test chamber to verify the performance and took an experiment in normal temperature and very low temperature, and could obtain temperature, pressure and flow of near the fuel filter. As a result, the fuel flow could be improved during operation of the fuel heater.

  • The work presented here provides a control of the supply duct outlet air temperature in PEM (personal environment module) using fuzzy PID controller. In previous work, PID control systems were used, but the result shows that the outlet air temperature and electric heater regulating voltage were oscillated. Fuzzy PID control systems are designed to improve the system response obtained using PID control and implemented experimentally Also, PID controller and fuzzy controller without PID logic are provided to compare the result with that of the fuzzy PID controller. Data obtained shows that the fuzzy PID control system satisfies the design criteria and works proper1y in controlling the supply air temperature. Also it has bettor performance than the previous result obtained using PID control.

  • In this work, it has been predicted the thermal performance of the engine cooling system in cases of stationary mode, constant speed mode, city-drive mode, and hill-climb mode by theoretical modeling of each component and numerical analysis. The modelling components are engine, radiator, heater, thermostat, water-pump, and cooling-fan. And also it has been developed the simulation program that can be used in case of design and system configuration changes. The comparison has not been made to verify the results of this work with experimental data, but the overall tendencies were agreed well with those of actual situation in four modes.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented mobile object automatic system based on senor networks for telematics. For developing this system, we gather the various sensing data through wireless communication method using zigbee sensor networks and analyze them in monitoring equipment. And we enable the driver to recognize the car state information on the whole by interfacing analyzed data to telematics unit. And, we implemented automatic controller that can control temperature and humidity in car automatically by actuating air conditioner based on the data that was monitored throughout temperature sensor, humidity sensor and brightness sensor based on sensor networks.

  • 본 논문에서는 한국전자통신연구원 언어처리연구팀에서 개발하고 있는 차량용 대화 시스템을 위한 Dialog Act 태깅 코퍼스 구축 방법에 대해 기술하는 것을 목표로 한다. 차량용 태깅 코퍼스 구축 방법은 크게 차량용 대화 코퍼스 수집과 수집된 대화 코퍼스에 Dialog Act를 반자동으로 태깅하는 방법으로 나눌 수 있다. 차량용 대화 코퍼스 수집은 1) 대화플랜 맵 구축, 2) 표준대화 구축, 3) 자유대화 구축, 4) 사용자 발화에 패러프래징 발화 구축의 순으로 구축되었다. Dialog Act 태깅은 수집된 대화코퍼스로부터 슬롯 후보를 추출하여 슬롯 체계를 구축한 후 반자동 슬롯 태깅을 실시하고, 슬롯 태깅 결과와 Dialog Act Type을 조합하여 Dialog Act 태깅 코퍼스를 구축하였다. 이렇게 구축된 Dialog Act 태깅 코퍼스는 차량 공조시스템(에어컨, 히터 등) 및 차량 응급 조치 정보 서비스와 같은 차량용 대화 시스템에 적용 중에 있다.

Effect of Heating by Nano-Carbon Fiber Infrared Lamps on Growth and Vase Life of Cut Roses and Heating Cost (나노탄소섬유 적외선등 난방이 절화장미의 생육과 수명 및 난방비에 미치는 영향)

  • The greatest and major cost for cut rose production during winter seasons in Korea is cost of heating the greenhouse. A study was conducted on a cost-efficient heating system to reduce expenses of cut rose growers in times of high energy prices. An infrared heating system utilizing radiant energy has an obvious advantage over other heating methods in that the energy is first used to raise temperatures of plants and other objects and subsequently that of the atmosphere, resulting in faster reaching to desired plant temperatures at a reduced heating cost. In this study the heating effect and heating cost saving of a nano-carbon fiber infrared heating system (NCFIHS) installed in cut rose greenhouses in Gimhae, Gyeongnam Province were analyzed comparatively. In addition growth, quality, and vase life of 'Orange Fresh' roses grown in greenhouses heated by NCFIHS against those grown in greenhouses heated by so called an electrical heating system. In greenhouses with a NCFlHS with a set point air temperature of $20^{\circ}C$, plant temperature was maintained at $1{\sim}2^{\circ}C$ higher than the air temperature, and temperatures of growing bed surface and root zone were maintained at $17{\sim}19^{\circ}C$ throughout cold winter nights. The cost for heating in NCFIHS was about 25 and 51% of that of an electrical heating system and a hot water heating system heated by petroleum, respectively. Growth of roses harvested in greenhouses with a NCFIHS was similar to those grown in greenhouses with an electrical heating system. However, cut roses with more intense petal and leaf colors and a longer vase life (fresh weight and amount of water uptake) were harvested in greenhouses with a NCFIHS as compared to those harvested in greenhouses with an electrical heating system.
