In general, the predator-prey model has been studied as a model of struggle for existence in a ecosystem. While conventional papers have focussed on the population change of the predator-prey, this paper focused on controlling the energy needed for the predator to pursue the prey. For simplification, assume the environment which there are only single predator and prey. Based on the environment, a certain amount of energy needed for a predator to pursue the prey was suggested on a basis of physical theories and also the used energy model was suggested on a basis of the simulation. From experiments, it was proven that the suggested energy models were appropriate for natural pursuit.

This paper analyzes the behaviour of a prey to avoid the pursuit of a predator at predator-prey relationship to be appeared in the collective behavior of animals. One of the methods to avoid the pursuit of a predator is to rotate quickly when a predator arrives near to it. At that moment, a critical distance and a rotating angular are very important for the prey in order to survive from the pursuit, where the critical distance is the distance between the predator and the prey just before rotation. In order to analyze the critical distance and the rotating angular, this paper introduces the energy for a predator which it has at starting point of the chase and consumes during the chase. Through simulations, we can know that the rotating angle for a prey to survive from the pursuit is increased when the critical distance is shorter and when the ratio of predator's mass and prey's mass is also decreased. The results of simulations are the similar phenomenon in nature and therefore it means that the method to analyze in this paper is correct.

웹 상에서 XML 로 기술된 데이터가 증가하고, 이를 이용하여 의미 있는 데이터를 검색하는 것의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 웹 상에서 더 좋은 검색 성능을 보이기 위해 XML 질의 결과를 캐쉬하는 방법에 관한 연구들과 캐쉬의 저장 공간과 다양한 질의를 캐쉬에 저장하는 것에 한계가 있기 때문에 캐쉬 교체 기법에 관한 연구들이 있었다. 기존의 XML 캐쉬 교체 정책에는 질의 결과를 교체 단위로 하는 방법과 질의 결과 내의 각 경로들을 교체 단위로 하는 방법이 있는데, 첫번째 방법은 효율이 상대적으로 낮고 두번째 방법은 높은 효율에 비해 교체 연산을 수행하는 부담(overhead)이 크다는 단점이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 위 두 방법의 단점을 해결하기 위해 2 단계로 교체 희생자를 선택하는 방법을 제시한다. 질의 결과들 중에서 교체 희생자를 찾고, 그 희생자 내의 모든 경로들 중에서 다시 교체 희생자를 찾는다. 이는 각 질의 내의 경로가 교체 희생자가 되어 캐쉬 효율을 향상 시키고, 질의 결과에 대해 먼저 교체 대상을 찾으므로 교체 희생자를 찾기 위한 연산을 수행하는 부담을 줄인다. 또한 캐쉬 적중률, 최근 접근 시간, 인출 지연 시간, 객체 크기를 고려하여 교체 희생자를 선택하는 교체 함수를 제시한다. 가상의 시맨틱 데이터에 대한 캐쉬 교체 시스템을 구현하여 본 논문에서 제시한 교체 기법과 교체 함수를 평가한 결과를 기술한다.

'지진의 나라' 일본에선 만명 이상 희생자를 낸 대형 지진만 7회나 발생해 지금까지 80여만명의 희생자를 냈다. 1880년 지진학회를 창립한 일본은 세계 최초로 지진계를 개발하는 등 지진예지방법과 대책수립에 최선을 다하고 있다. 우리나라도 지진 예외국은 아니다. 과학자들은 적극적인 연구체제를 구축하여 지진여지ㆍ지진대책에 힘을 모아야 하겠다.

The purpose of this study is to establish a classification system for the records of the Association for the Bereaved Families of the Hampyeong Massacre Victims. The content of the records is accordingly implemented through a functional source principle, and a classification table is presented in such a way that it reflects the characteristics by type and by production period so that the records can be used effectively. DIRKS, a methodology for the development of the functional classification system, is used to conduct a functional analysis of Hampyeong massacre victims' families to derive a task classification table that leads to task function-work activity-handling actions. The category is determined by taking into consideration the type and nature of the time of the production of the records of the Hampyeong massacre victims' families. The records are mapped according to the function classification system, which corresponds to the task classification table, and the multicategory system that drafts the type and period, which is used to classify the functions. The medical institution introduces a system for classifying records into task subjects, task activities, handling actions, types, and period.

본 논문에서는 스마트폰과 스마트폰이 블루투스로 연결할 때 페어링 진행을 최초 1회만 하는 것에 대한 위험성에 관하여 연구하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 구현한 트로이목마 어플리케이션은 희생자 스마트폰과 페어링이 되어 있을 경우, 실행과 동시에 공격자의 스마트폰과 블루투스로 연결되도록 하였다. 희생자 스마트폰의 어플리케이션은 스마트폰의 카메라를 작동시켜 사진을 촬영하고 스마트폰에 저장된 주소록 데이터를 추출하며, 촬영한 사진과 추출한 주소록 데이터를 공격자의 스마트폰으로 전송한다. 공격자는 희생자의 스마트폰에서 탈취한 정보를 확인할 수 있다.

The study on long-term change of natural and sediment disasters such as landslides and debris flows is not thoroughgoing enough in spite of increasing of concern for disaster. Therefore, the change of natural and sediment disasters was investigated with the number of victims caused by both disasters and the ratio of sediment disasters for natural disasters was compared. The number of victims by sediment and natural disasters has apparently been decreasing despite of the change of rainfall pattern. The number of victims was changed to 140 persons/year in the late 1990s from 250 persons/year in the 1970s of natural disaster and that of sediment disaster to 20 persons/year in the late 1990s from 60 persons/year in the late 1970s. Furthermore, the ratio of sediment disaster victims to natural disaster victims has decreased from 2/7 in the 1970s to 2/15 after 1980s. But, the system of sediment disaster management and new soil erosion control works tough introduction of watershed management concept are requested because of increased landslide area in recent years (206ha in 1981 $\rightarrow$ 688ha in 1999).

The purpose of this study is to understand suffering of torture for victims with suspicion of espionage under the military government in Korea by knowing meaning and structure of empirical phenomena. Methods is to applied to Phenomenological and heuristic Human Becoming Methodology, and the subjects of this study are text for three tortured victims. Results is the structure that the victims accepted their act of espionage under the torture and horror, living with retribution from heaven, surviving pressured times, and fighting for human rights upon release from prison. The conceptual integration of relationship issues were: valuing, imaging, languaging with powering and transforming under the process of revealing-concealing and enabling-limiting. Finally, discussion and practical meaning was reviewed.
