  • The changes in the 4th industrial revolution era are not limited to specific sectors, but affect all sectors of industry. Thus all companies are required to respond effectively to changes. Some companies response by adopting cutting-edge ICT and some companies improve the organizational structure, or enhance the competence of individual employees. This study is based on the assumption that the responses to the change in the 4th industrial revolution era should not be uniform, and that the response strategies and priorities should vary according to the characteristics of the companies. The purpose of this study is to suggest both different response strategies and the priority of the responding factors(areas) to small and medium-sized enterprises. Data were collected through the semi-Delphi method. As a result of data analysis, the priorities of the medium-sized enterprises were as follows: introduction of IT-strengthening the competence of the individuals - establishing technology infrastructure-improving organizational structure - efficiency of work - improving organizational culture. While the priorities of the response factors(area) of the small-sized companies were as follows: strengthening the competence of the individuals - efficiency of work - introduction of IT - establishing technology infrastructure - improving organizational structure - improving organizational culture.

  • 오늘날 인터넷상에서 존재하는 않은 정보들은 다양한 사용자의 개인 특성에 안게 새로운 정보의 지식으로 제공되어지기를 원한다. 기존의 연구는 단일 학술 기법을 통해 정보를 추출했으나 사용자에게 보다 의미 있는 정보를 제공하기 위해 다중 전략 학습 기법인 PMSL(Personalized Multi-Strategy Learning) 모듈 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. PMSL 모듈은 인터넷의 정보를 여과하여 필터링하고, 사용자 개인화의 키워드를 중심으로 연관된 객체를 추출한다. 이때 연관된 객체 추출시 대용량 데이터에서 시간적, 공간적면에서 효율적인 연관 탐색 기법인 Fp-Tree와 Fp-Growth 알고리즘을 적용시킴으로 결과의 효율성을 높이고자 하였으며, 연관규칙의 문제점을 보완하기 위해 가중치 기법인 TF*IDF 학습 기법을 적용시켰다. PMSL 모듈을 실행한 결과 기존 학습 기법에 비해 보다 더 의미 있는 연관 지식을 추출하게 되었다.

  • Patent strategy research has focused on the efficiency of licensing for investigation, analysis and utilization of application management, product and development task in finding patent idea, to establish patent strategy linked with management strategy and technology strategy. However, it is difficult to find the research on patent strategy that reflects an adaptive culture to enhance the internalization and performance of the established strategy. As a result, companies have been striving to imitate patent strategies of advanced companies that do not consider their industry and organizational culture. This study proposes a method of defining a firm 's patent strategy according to the competing value model that analyzes organizational culture as four frameworks. This study verifies the classification method through case studies, suggests a suitable patent strategy for the patent strategy type. This study has contributions in that discussing from a new point of view based on organizational culture theory and providing a IP strategic model with high practicality.

  • With the advent of knowledge-based society where knowledge generates power, the importance of information is growing than ever before. However, it is not easy to find necessary information in time. Collecting, processing and disseminating valuable information is getting more and more important. If those information include scientific and technical issues, it is more difficult to connect the sender and receiver, provider and consumer and also creates various factors and situation. This study aims to provide an application method of IMC(Integrated Marketing Communication) Strategy for efficient information services of science and technology which is one of KISTI's major functions. An analysis was proceeded in 3 categories with provider and receiver, and medium and message. The current problem in system was reviewed through each analysis and a feasible plan for the realization of IMC Strategy in future is proposed.

  • Internet is changing all of the commercial practices and customs on international business transaction. So called e-Trade in global marketing is expected to dominate the global trade in 21st century and thus is being introduced as a major mission assignment for exporting countries. e-Trade has the potential to accelerated existing threads and introduce new ways of carrying out global trade. It is especially important in Korea, which has a high dependency rate on trade. Trade efficiency through the channel of e-Trade is an alternative to strengthen international competition of korean small and medium sized global trading firm.

  • One of the most important operational goals in container terminals is to maximize the quay side productivity by minimizing the turnaround times of the vessels, for which the operations of the quay cranes (QC) to load/unload containers onto/from the vessels should be conducted efficiently without delays. This paper suggests using a policy-based dispatching method for YTs (Yard Tractor) that deliver containers between QCs and the storage yard. The goal of using such a dispatching policy is to maximize the efficiency of the YT operation and accordingly to minimize the QC delays because of late arrivals of the YTs. In particular, in this paper, we modified the previously proposed policy for its application to real container terminal and verified the effect through simulation experiments using real terminal data.

  • Recently, most corporations in Korea need to construct new management system for overcoming economic crisis. Firstly, this paper suggests “Value Creation system”. Secondly, this paper suggests CALS as strategic substitute to achieve market efficiency, capital efficiency, personal efficiency, and operation efficiency, which are four critical factors of “Value Creation system”. Korean corporations should build new business model founded on cooperation by completing CALS system and reconstruct competitive management system by using knowledge and know-how accumulated in that process. Because most corporations keep exclusive corporate culture and little experience of cooperative relationship among businesses, strategic approaches are essential for construction of CALS. These are vertical integration, organization of CALS construction teams, concurrent development of product/process, CEO's iron will, Precise vision and strategies, and education/training of participant.
