Enhancements in Performance and Manufacturing Efficiencies of GFRP Rebar (GFRP 보강근의 성능 및 제작 효율화 방안)

  • Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcing rebar with non-corrosive property is suggested as an alternative replacement to steel reinforcing rebar due to its enhanced durability and non-corrosive characteristics. Currently, a limited number of glass fiber reinforced polymer rebar (GFRP) are sold commercially due to their high cost, relatively low performances, and brittle failure characteristics. Therefore, the performance enhancements and cost reduction of GFRP rebar are needed to increase its applications in construction fields. The intent of this study is to develop high performance GFRP rebar by improving its tensile and shear properties. Also, in order to reduce manufacturing costs, factors such as material composition and manufacturing process were evaluated to improve manufacturing efficiency. Finally a GFRP rebar with enhanced material properties and less expensive than the GFRP rebar currently sold in the market was manufactured and evaluated for its application possibility in construction fields.

  • 최근 국내외에서 기상이변에 따른 물 부족에 대응하고 먹는 물의 생산과 공급 효율성 향상을 위하여 스마트워터그리드에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 경향으로 이는 상수도 인프라시설의 운영오류, 자연재해, 사이버를 통한 의도적 공격 등에 대해 안전하고 신뢰성이 높은 시스템을 구축하기 위한 것이다. 또한 상수도 분야에서는 스마트 미터링 개념을 도입하여 상수관망에서 발생되는 각종 사고나 물 손실을 저감하기 위한 노력이 시도되고 있는 실정이다. 일반적으로 누수량이 많을 경우에는 누수의 징후가 지표면에서 확인이 가능하나 미세한 경우 탐사장비의 운영이나 인력의 투입을 통해 가능하다. 물 공급계통인 상수관망에서 물 손실을 저감시키기 위한 방법중 하나로서 수도미터로부터 기록되는 물 사용량 데이터를 이용하여 누수패턴을 추출함으로써 누수감시가 가능하도록 하는 모형을 개발하고자 하였다. 이는 탐사장비에 의한 누수감지와 상호 보완적을 활용할 수 있는 것으로서 사용량 자료를 분석하여 사전에 처리된 자료의 노이즈와 결함 있는 계측값을 필터링시키는 기법이 도입된 것이며 신속한 감지를 통해 누수 지속시간을 감소시킴으로서 누수량의 저감을 목표로 한다. 물 공급 네트워크를 보다 더 효율적 만들 수 있는 누수 감시모형은 상수관망의 운영에 필요한 정보를 도출하기 위하여 보다 정확하고 다양한 수학적 및 통계적 분석을 기반으로 구성되어 누수 외에도 각종 결함을 찾아내는 역할을 수행할 수 있다. 향후 다양한 지역을 이러한 수용가의 물 사용량 미터링 결과를 토대로 실제 사용량과 누수량을 분리하여 분석함으로써 국내 실정에 적합한 누수감시 기술배발 토대를 마련할 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 누수저감을 위한 실질적인 상수관망의 운영관리 효율향상의 정보로서 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

A Study on improving manufacturing environment using IoT technology in small business environment (중소기업 환경에서 IoT 기술을 이용한 제조 환경 개선에 관한 분석 연구)

  • To launch the product recently attached to IoT consumer electronics, smart phones and healthcare products around the large companies is a trend that is growing interest in the IoT. However, the country's small business environment is what the environmental improvement process that is easily accessible to the small business environment because the IoT technologies are difficult to apply the IoT technologies than any other country environment than desperate situation. In this paper, we propose a service operating model to improve production efficiency when the fusion manufacturing process is currently operating in the country SMEs and IoT technology. Proposed model using the manufacturing product information and sensor / dabayiseu information in the entire manufacturing process has as its object to utilize the IoT technology. Performance evaluation, the proposed model is more efficient than the previous model and 23.1% of the manufacturing process. In addition, it is increasing the manufacturing process was reduced by 17.3%, the average processing time as compared to the previous model. Finally, the personnel cost to be used in the manufacturing process was found to be an average decrease of 19.8% than previous model.

Health Monitoring of Livestock using Neck Sensor based on Machine Learning (목걸이형 센서를 이용한 머신러닝 기반 가축상태 모니터링)

  • Due to the rapid development of Internet-of-Things technology, different types of smart sensors are now devised and deployed widely. These smart sensors are now used in animal husbandry which was traditionally managed by the experience of farmers, such that wearable sensors for livestock, and the smart farm which is equipped with multiple sensors are utilized to increase the efficiency of livestock management. Herein, we consider a scheme in which the body temperature and the level of activity are measured by smart sensor which is attached to the neck of dairy cattle and the health condition is monitored based on collected data. Especially, we find that the estrous of dairy cattle which is one of most important metric in milk production, can be predicted with high precision using various machine learning techniques. By utilizing the proposed prediction scheme, estrous of cattle can be detected immediately and this can improve the efficiency of cattle management.

Buckling Formation on Steel-Based Solar Cell Induced by Silicone Resin Coat and Its Improvement on Performance Efficiency (실리콘 고분자 수지의 버클링을 통한 스틸기반 태양전지의 효율 향상)

  • Even though stainless steel foil is not a highly efficient material for film-type solar cell, it has strong passivation capability without additional process. In this study, silicone resin was employed during a-Si:H thin film solar cell fabrication for the purpose of planarization and electrical insulation. In the first stage of process, silicone resin was coat onto the stainless steel (STS) using spin coater with thickness of $2{\sim}3{\mu}m$ and followed by aluminum deposition using ion beam application. Unexpectedly buckling was formed during aluminum deposition process. After subsequent fabrication processes, solar cell performance was evaluated. In voltage-current data, slight increase of cell performance was obtained and interpreted by the increase of light scattering.

Real-time Path Replanning for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles: Considering Environmental Changes using RRT* and LOSPO (무인 항공기를 위한 실시간 경로 재계획 기법: RRT*와 LOSPO를 활용한 환경 변화 고려)

  • Unmanned aerial vehicles are widely used in various fields, and real-time path replanning is a critical factor in enhancing the safety and efficiency of these devices. In this paper, we propose a real-time path replanning technique based on RRT* and LOSPO. The proposed technique first generates an initial path using the RRT* algorithm and then optimizes the path using LOSPO. Additionally, the optimized path can be converted into a trajectory that considers actual time and the dynamic limits of the aircraft. In this process, environmental changes and collision risks are detected in real-time, and the path is replanned as needed to maintain safe operation. This method has been verified through simulation-based experiments. The results of this paper make a significant contribution to the research on real-time path replanning for UAVs, and by applying this technique to various situations, the safety and efficiency of UAVs can be improved.

Maritime Cyber Security Issues and Risk Management Trends (해양 사이버 보안사고 및 위험 관리 사항 동향)

  • The International Maritime Organization, which is in charge of the international maritime environment and ship safety, has rapidly promoted cyber systems for international dimension agreement and efficiency improvement and improved nautical efficiency. Nevertheless, maritime cyber system attacks still occur every year, and in particular, the number of international maritime cyber security incidents in 2021 appeared to increase sharply compared to 2020. This paper discusses the areas that should be taken into account in order to reduce the increasing sophistication of maritime cyber security. To this end, we will look at typical cases of cyber attacks that have increased sharply in 2021 and analyze the causes of the continuous occurrence of maritime cyber security incidents. In addition, we present several cyber system proposals regarding the current state of maritime cyber systems and the solutions to the problems they face, as well as the matters to be addressed for future maritime cyber systems that will be advanced.

The Coordinated Development of New Urbanization Quality and Green Economy Efficiency in Jiangsu Province (중국 강소성 신도시화의 질적향상과 녹색경제효율성의 연계 발전에 관한 연구)

  • This article uses panel data of thirteen prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu Province from 2007 to 2021, and adopts entropy method, SBM model, and coupling coordination degree model to empirically study the development level of new model of urbanization and green economic efficiency in Jiangsu Province and the coupling coordination relationship between them. The results show that: the coupling coordination was in a moderate disorder and on the verge of disorder in 2008 and 2009. However, it steadily improved after 2010, and even witnessed a significant increase from 2018 to 2021. After that, it shows a high-quality coordination in 2021, indicating that the level of coordination between urbanization and green economic efficiency in Jiangsu province is steadily improving. Analyzed from a spatial perspective, the overall development of the regions in the province is sound and the coordination is growing at a significant rate, but there are still certain gaps in the coordinated development between the regions.

Quantitative Safety Assessment and Effectiveness Analysis for Duplication of ATS Routes (복선 항공로에 대한 정량적 안전평가 및 효과에 관한 분석)

  • The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport duplicated a section of ATS Route Y579 connecting Jeju and Busan in 2022 to enhance aviation safety and operational efficiency. Before duplication, an offset procedure was applied to separate aircraft flying in opposite direction by deviating them to the right of their intended flight paths. However, on December 1, 2022, this offset procedure was abolished and replaced with two parallel route, Y571(towards Busan) and Y572(towards Jeju), to improve safety and efficiency. The duplication of ATS Routes has significant implications in various aspects. This study analyzes the safety of the newly established ATS Routes and compares their safety with the previously applied offset procedure to evaluate the effectiveness of the duplication. Additionally, it presents the significance from the perspective of airspace operation. A safety assessment has conducted using a modified version of the Reich CRM (collision risk model). The analysis results confirms that the level of safety improves after the duplication and that there were benefits in terms of airspace utilization.

  • 히토류 불화물인 SmF$_3$, PrF$_3$, 및 TbF$_3$를 ZnS 모체에 첨가한 박막 EL소자를 Fig.1과 같이 제작하고 발광중심의 농도변화, 열철, 증착시의 기판온도, 증착되는 막의 두께 등의 조건을 변화시켜서 각 조건에 의존하는 소자의 특성을 X-선회절분석과 분광 스펙트럼 분석으르 바탕으로 해석했다. 광학적 스펙트럼은 발광중심과 모체에 의존하며 기판온도의 변화는 발광층의 결정성 향상에 기여한다는 것을 알았다. 기판 온도의 변화에 의한 막의 결정성 향상과 열처리에 의한 발광중신의 모체내 열확산에 따른 재결정화나 비 방사성이완(non-radiative relaxation)을 일으키는 격자결함의 감소는 EL소자의 발광층내 전도전자에 영향을 미쳐 휘도와 효율의 개선이 이루어짐을 알았다. 소자의 발광층에 흐르는 전도전류와 이동전하량을 각각 Chen-Krupka회로와 Sawyer-Tower회로로 측정했다
