  • Tire is one of the most important to drive cars. There is high possibility to occur slip phenomenon and to increase braking distance depending on tire wear. Therefore, you should be check tire wear and replace tires periodically. In the past, most people manually check the wear level and judged whether or not to replace the tire. But, since the standard is different for each person, the replacement cycle becomes unclear. Since a clear replacement cycle is established, it is expected that the accident rate of a vehicle caused by a tire will be reduced. Therefore, i propose detection method for a tire wear using a motor rotation angle.

Rotor Flux Estimation of an Induction Motor using the Extended Luenberger Observer (확장된 루엔버거 관측기를 이용한 유도전동기 회전자 자속 추정)

  • In this paper, authors propose a new nonlinear rotor flux observer for rotor field oriented control of an induction motor which is designed based on the extended Luenberger Observer theory. Extended Luenberger Observer requires minimal solution of nonlinear partial differential equation on its coordinate transformation and linearization needed on a nonlinear observer design in general. The proposed rotor flux observer is derived from the 2 phase model of induction motor on the orthogonal coordination and it has the reduce gain matrix. Simulation and experimentation were performed under the conventional indirect vector control and direct vector control with the proposed observer at different rotor resistance. Simulation results show that the convergence of the proposed observer is influenced by the chosen eigenvalues. Experimentation results on load operation show the direct vector control with the proposed observer is better than the indirect vector control to maintain the characteristics of the vector control.

  • A moment-curvature relationship to simulate the behavior of reinforced concrete beam under cyclic loading is introduced. Unlike previous moment-curvature models and the layered section approach, the proposed model takes into consideration the bond-slip effect by using monotonic moment-curvature relationship constructed on the basis of the bond-slip relation and corresponding equilibrium equation at each nodal point. In addition, the use of curved unloading and reloading branches inferred from the stress-strain relation of steel gives more exact numerical result. The advantages of the proposed model, comparing to layered section approach, may be on the reduction in calculation time and memory space in case of its application to large structures. The modification of the moment-curvature relation to reflect the fixed-end rotation and pinching effect is also introduced. Finally, correlation studies between analytical results and experimental studies are conducted to establish the validity of the proposed model.

  • In order to smoothly control the speed of the induction motor, it is necessary to obtain the required rotor speed information. In order to obtain the speed information, it must be obtained using a sensor, but it can also be obtained using an appropriate algorithm without using a sensor. In order to obtain speed information, a system was designed using a model reference adaptive system (MARS). Indirect vector control, one of the speed control methods of induction motors, was calculated from the motor current and rotor parameter values. The method of obtaining the position information of the magnetic flux by combining the slip frequency with the rotor speed was used. It is possible to simply perform instantaneous current control in a wide speed range without actual magnetic flux information, and has the advantage that the structure of the controller is simple. Therefore, in this paper, the control system was constructed based on the indirect vector control method, and the speed control system of the induction motor was developed by estimating the required rotor speed information as an intelligent algorithm developed without using it as a sensor.

  • As the demands for offshore wind power generation systems on a large scale have grown dramatically, and extensive developments in PMSG (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator) and DFIG (Doubly-fed Induction Generator) wind turbine system have been going on. However, the wind power systems have been more sophisticated, and their reliability becomes critical issues. Averagely, wind turbines have shut down for about a week per year for repairs and maintenance. Especially the high speed gearbox of DFIG is inevitable components for high power generation, but becomes one of the critical failures. In this paper, a new reliable gearless wind turbine structure is proposed. The gearless wind turbine can operate on a maximum power points by controlling the speed of a rotational stator. The proposed approach is verified by PSIM simulations, resulting in increased energy reliability.

  • In recent year, inverters and cycloconverters system are widely used for fed induction motor drives. Motor drives by cycloconverter is possible to frequency have been directly changed without AC/DC converter, so that circuits is simpler than inverter. A aims of this paper is the control strategy and hardware design for vector control system by cycloconverter fed induction motor drives. In this paper, Algorithm of vector control is derivlid from the model of controlled current source-fed induction motor. Vector control system is implemented using these algorithm and a pulse width controled cycloconverter using a SCR.   • 최근 전력계통의 전기품질에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있으며, 특히 배전계통에서의 고조파 발생은 수용가의 전기기기에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 고조파 전류에 의한 유도전통기의 전기적 특성과 전기품질에 대한 영향을 분석하였으며, 리액터 설치에 의한 고조파전류의 흐름을 측정하였고, 전기품질 을 개선하기 위한 리액터 및 고조파 필터의 설치효과를 비교하였다. 고조파전류가 유도전동기에 유입되면 회전수, 토크, 슬립의 변동폭이 증가하였으며, 고조파 저감을 위하여 전원 측에 리액터를 설치하면 파형왜곡은 개선되었으나, 전압 강하가 발생하였다. 고조파 필터를 설치한 경우에는 전압 강하 및 파형왜곡이 크게 개선되는 효과가 있었으며, 유효전력이 약간 상승하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 화강풍화토 지반상 unpropped diaphragm wall의 거동을 연구하기 위하여 벽체의 근입깊이와 지하수위 조건을 변화시키면서 원심모형실험을 수행하였다. 원심모형실험시 diaphragm wall은 두께 8mm인 알루미늄합금을 사용하였으며, 지반굴착을 재현하기 위하여 zinc chloride 기법을 이용하였다. 수치해석은 대부분의 지반공학문제에 적용할 수 있는 SAGE CRISP 프로그램을 이용하였다. 수치해석에서 모형지반은 수정 Cam-Clay 모델, diaphragm wall은 탄성모델, 지반과 diaphragm wall 사이의 경계면요소는 슬립모델을 사용하여 2차원 평면변형률 조건으로 해석을 수행하였다. 모형실험 결과 파괴면의 직선적인 형태로 파괴면내의 배면측 지반은 벽체를 향하여 하향의 변위를 일으키면서 벽체의 회전에 의해 파괴되었다. 실험 및 유한요소해석 결과 지반의 최대침하량과 최대침하량이 발생하는 위치는 잘 일치하였으며, 깊이에 따른 벽체변위는 선형적인 관계를 나타내었다. 또한, 최대 휨모멘트와 근입깊이로 정규화한 최대 휨모멘트 발생위치($h_{Mmax}$/d=0.4)는 잘 일치하였다.

  • This paper presents the gear ratio of wobble motor, accounting for finite friction in contact point. The gear ratio of a wobble motor is affected by rotor slip, which is a function of motive torque, excitation angle, and friction torque. The gear ratio of a wobble motor can be expressed as a constant term plus a term that accounts for rotor slip. The ideal gear ratio is constant term and is equal to the rotor radius divided by the distance between the center of the rotor and the center of the stator. The rotor-slip term is shown to be directly proportional to the contact point friction torque and inversely proportional to the square of the excitation voltage.

  • This paper covers starting characteristics and design of wound motor induction rmtor can used to double excited induction mootor. They are employing in many electrical equiprrent system of industrial field The stator is satre as that of conventional induction motor. But rotor was rewind with new style, as result both of starting torque and operating efficiency could be high, But starting current could be small. Could obtain the satre result as that of conventional induction rmtor with external resistance on the rotor.
