식육 제품 및 육가공품의 색은 그 식품의 품질과 선호도를 결정하는 중요한 척도로서 사용되며, 소비자는 밝은 척색의 육이나, 갈-회색의 가열한육 및 핑크색의 숙성된 육을 더욱선호한다(C. JO., et al. 2000). Hemo계 색소는 동물성 식품색소로, 적색은 주로 육 색소인 myoglbin과 혈색소인 hemoglobin에 의한 것이다. 육색소인 myoglobin은 공기 중에 방치하면 산소와 결합하여 Oxymyoglobin으로 변화하여 선명한 선홍색을 띄게 된다. 육류를 가열하면 일부 산화되지 않고 있던 myoglobin이 Oxymyoglobi을 거쳐 metmyoglobin으로 된다. 색채의 공감각적 특성에 기초하여 대학생들의 미각에 대한 단색 연상 색채를 조사함으로써 현 시대의 대학생들이 느끼는 미각에 대한 대표적인 공감각적 색채를 찾아내기 위한 기초 연구를 진행하였다. 연상을 활용하여 미각에 대한 색채의 공감각에 대해 기초적인 접근이 가능하도록 하였으며, 연상과의 상호관계를 통해 기본 미각의 대표컬러로써 대학생들이 선택한 단맛은 빨강과 노랑, 핑크와 초컬릿 색, 짠맛은 흰색, 회색, 빨강과 검정 등이 추출되었다.

홍석하 과장이 있는 현장은 언제나 시끌벅적하다. 또 웃음이 떠나지 않는다. 점검과 교육, 각종 서류작성 등의 업무로 눈 코 뜰 새 없이 바쁜 것이 안전관리자의 일상임에도, 그는 조금의 틈이 생길 때마다 어떻게 하면 근로자들을 행복하게 할 수 있을지를 고민한다. 때문에 그가 있는 현장에선 운동회, 세족식, 근로자음악회 등 연중 즐거운 행사가 끊이지 않는다. 회색빛 시멘트의 차가움과 날카롭게 솟은 철근의 냉기로 덮여 있는 건설현장에 따뜻한 온기와 활기찬 생기를 불어 넣었던 홍석하 SK 건설 HSE팀 과장을 만나봤다.

빌딩이 빽빽한 도시 한가운데이자 IT밸리 중심에 자리잡은 서울정보통신대학원대학교에서 만난 문남미 교수, 그녀가 최근 e-러닝 콘텐츠 표준화 작업을 위해 정보통신부와 문화관광부를 수십번씩 드나들며 활발한 활동을 펼치고 있다. 그녀는 e-러닝(e-learning) 표준화를 위한 기술 로드맵을 집필한 바로 그 주인공이다. 선정릉을 끼고 위치한 빌딩 3층에 있는 문 교수는 연구실에서 연구원과 연구 발표를 위해 열띤 논쟁을 하고 있었다. 세련되고 깔금한 회색 정장에 짧은 단발머리의 문 교수는 "임시 건물의 연구실이 너무 좁죠" 라며 씩씩한 목소리로 반겼다.

춘천 연옥은 색깔에 따라 세가지 유형 (연녹색, 암녹색, 및 회색 연옥)으로 구분되고 이들은 각기 서로 다른 조직과 조성을 나타낸다. 연녹색 연옥이 이중에서 가장 일반적인 유형이다. 연옥은 주로 극미립의 연옥질 투각섬석으로 구성되고 여기에 미량의 휘석, Mg-녹니석 및 방해석이 불순물로서 수반된다. 연옥질 투각섬석 결정들은 그 폭이 5$\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 극미립질 침상 결정형을 이루며 서로 치밀하게 얽혀있는 연옥 특유의 조직을 나타낸다. 주사전자현미경 하에서 (110)의 벽개면의 발달이 현저하고, 주사탐침현미경 하에서는 벽개면을 가로지르는 방향으로 특징적인 조선이 나타나는 것이 특징이다. 연옥질 투각섬석은 투과전자현미경 하에서 흔히 단쇄형과 복쇄형이 결합한 3중쇄형 격자가 복쇄형의 투각섬석 구조 내에서 불규칙적으로 협재되는 혼성격자 구조가 발달하는 것이 특징이다. 드물지만 5중쇄형 격자와 4중쇄형 격자도 관찰되는데, 이 같은 불규칙한 격자 혼재상은 회색 연옥에서 보다 현저한 경향을 보인다. 이와 같은 혼성격자 구조형의 존재는 춘천 연옥이 열역학적으로 비평형 상태에서 형성되었음을 시사하는 것으로 여겨진다. 리트벨트법에 의한 구조검증을 통해서 구해진 연옥질 투각섬석들의 격자상수 값들은 X-선회절의 경우, a=9.837(1)~9.9804(4)$\AA$, b=18.046(2)~18.062(1)$\AA$. c=5.2765(7)~5.2803(3)$\AA$, $\beta$=104.717(9)~104.786(3)$^{\circ}$로 계산되었다. 이에 비해서 중성자 회절법에 의해서 측정되 격자 상수 값은 a=9.8841(6)~9.8933(7)$\AA$, b=18.1429(7)~18.161(2)$\AA$, c=5.3024(3)~5.3060(7)$\AA$, $\beta$=104.698(7)~104.771(4)$^{\circ}$로서 X-선회절에 의한 값들과 약간의 차이를 보인다. 연옥질 투각섬석은 Ca에 대한 Mg의 치환에 의해 M(4) 자라의 크기가 작아지면서 b축의 단위포도 함께 줄어드는 결정화학적 특징을 나타낸다. 이는 중성자 회절분석에 의해서 구해진 M(4)의 자리점유율과 M(4)-O의 원자간 거리에 의해서도 확인된다. 그러나 연옥질 투각섬석에 대한 리트벨트법에 구조검증 결과는 연옥의 유형별 미시적 광물상과 혼성격자 구조형의 특징에 별다른 연계성이 없는 것으로 나타났다.

Jinmi oyster mushroom(Pleurotus ostreatus) were bred in Mushroom Research Institute, Gyonggi Province A.R.E.S in 2003. This oyster mushroom were bred and cultivated one after mating single spores collected from K3-2 and ASI2018-249. The major characteristics of the mushroom are showing a lot of pinheadings, the gray-colored and infundibuliform pileus. The optimum temperature for the mycelial growth was around $25{\sim}30^{\circ}C$ and that for the pinheading and growth of fruitbody was around $15{\pm}1^{\circ}C$. Around 22 days at $20^{\circ}C$ were required for incubation of Jinmi and the yield was shown high by 145.9g/bottle.

It will be possible to prevent the infringement of the trademarks and the insueing disputes regarding the originality of the trademarks by using an efficient content-based trademark image retrieval system. In this paper, we describe a content-based image retrieval system using the Self Organizing Map(SOM) algorithm. The SOM algorithm utilizes the visual features, which were derived from the gray histogram representation of the images. In addition, we made the objective effectiveness evaluation possible by coming up with a quantitative measure to gauge the effectiveness of the content-based image retrieval system.

Two experiments were conducted to examine how additional dotted lines and peripheral stimulus to the caf$\grave{e}$ wall illusion affect on the degree of perceived tilt (amount of illusion) and confidency of illusionary perception. The experiment 1 tested the effects of adding mortar (solid line) and bright contrast dotted lines to the borderline of 3 layers of blocks, which are consisted of black and white blocks. On the experiment 2, effects of adding peripheral stimulus on caf$\grave{e}$ wall illusion were tested. The results of experiment 1 showed that adding dotted line on the borderline mortar between blocks has additive effects on confidency of illusory perception. However, no effect on perceived amount of illusion was noted. On the other hand according to the results of experiment 2, adding blocks did increase amount, but not confidency of illusory perception. These results imply that the perception of caf$\grave{e}$ wall illusion is related with response of orientation selective neurons.

The aim of the study was to investigate the diagnostic value of the color Doppler twinkling artifact in disease of urinary system. The intensity of twinkling artifact(TA) with color Doppler was classified into 3 levels, 0(non-TA) to 3(distinct TA). In the in vitro study, acorn jelly with various materials on top was examined using color Doppler at B-mode sonography in a water bath for TA. 31 patients with diagnosis of urinary calculi(renal stones 16, urinary stones 15) based on B-mode sonography were studied in vivo for TA. The materials with rough surfaces such as salt, screw and cubics at B-mode sonography with color Doppler contributed to causing TA. At B-mode sonography without color Doppler 37% of renal stones and 60% of ureter stones were detected. but at B-mode sonography with color Doppler TA was demonstrated for all cases. Superficial roughness of materials affected occurrence of TA at B-mode sonography with color Doppler. Therefore, TA at B-mode sonography without color Doppler could play a role in confident diagnosis of the disease of urinary system.
