2002년 일본 3대 인쇄회사 인쇄부분의 매출이 3~6% 감소했다고 한다. 국내의 실정도 불황에 따른 시장감소와 낮은 가공비, 3D 기피로 인한 노동력 등 많은 문제가 있는 것도 사실이다. 한솔제지의 경우 이와 같은 문제점을 근본적으로 해결하기 위해서는 인쇄시장의 확대라고 판단하고, 포장인쇄물의 수출에 관심을 가졌던 적이 있다. 인쇄물을 수출하면 종이 단독의 수출보다 부가가치가 있고, 우리의 고객인 인쇄업계도 일감이 늘어나 서로 좋을 것이라는 판단이 그 이유이다.

In the relationship between the shareholding ratio of National Pension Service (NPS) and the investee firm's value, this study examined the mediating effect of R&D expenditure which its increase can indirectly induce the increase of firm value, and examined the moderated mediation effect of the Stewardship Code implementation which pressures investee firms' to increase R&D expenditure and firm value. Using the Korean listed companies' data from 2016 to 2021, the analysis showed that the R&D expenditure had a partial mediation effect on the relationship between NPS's shareholding ratio and firm value. Also, the analysis showed that the NPS's Stewardship Code implementation had positive moderating effects on following relationships, one between NPS's shareholding ratio and R&D expenditure, and the other between NPS's shareholding ratio and firm value. In all, on the relationship between NPS's shareholding ratio and firm value, the R&D expenditure's mediation effect differs before and after the implementation of the stewardship code, which shows the moderated mediation effect.

This study proposes the improvement scheme of the current lease rate assessment system (2003~2014), as a major problem solving area, for the Terminal Operating Company (TOC)'s wharf since the introduction of the TOC system in 1997. The study considers the reform system using three criteria: standardization, simplification, and fairness. The final alternative presented by the study adopts the lease rate assessment system, which newly reflects changes of facilities' property values for aprons, combining it with the related fees of the Korean seaport dues for open storage yards, warehouses (shed), passages, buildings and lands within leased facilities. The proposal anticipates that the new system will not only minimize stakeholders' confusion, but also resolve the main problems within the current system. The study, further, introduces the adjustment ratio, which will make the new lease rate of the apron equal to the current lease rate of a berth, for the individual TOC's wharf, in order to prevent a sharp increment in the lease rate of the apron. This is because the government or port authorities as lessors, need to give priority to lightening the burden of TOC's costs under the deteriorating business environment such as the slowdown in port throughputs' growth. This study makes a contribution by suggesting a new lease rate assessment system for the TOC's wharf, reflecting the value of property as well as leading to its simplification and standardization. Additionally, it may lead to the improvement of fairness by applying the same rate to all leased wharfs for the lease rates of open storage yards, warehouses (shed) and passages. However, it has a limitation that hinders the fairness: the lease rate for the apron cannot be imposed in proportion to the leased area, by applying the individual adjustment ratios. In the future, those adjustment ratios should be, gradually, rationalized to be the same target ratio (0.5) for each wharf, following an improvement in the terminal operating business environment.

In the past, because Korean private venture capital firms could get government support and subsidies, they could be survived in the market without having required management capabilities, advanced venture investment techniques, and professional supporting agencies and institutions. However, business environments have changed a lot recently. Now, only through identifying the optimal financial structures(the ratio of debt to equity), Korean private venture capital firms can minimize investment risks and ensure higher profits. Since Modigliani and Miller(1958) criticized the existence of the optimal financial structure, there have been numerous studies on the optimal financial structure of firms. However, there is no empirical study investigating the financial structure of venture capital firms. The purpose of this article is to analyze the relationship between firm characteristics, financial security indies, and financial profit indices of korean private venture capital firms. We gathered the data from various sources, including the web pages and the financial statements for 2003 and 2004. By using the student's t-test and the correlation analysis, we showed that there are differences in the current ratio and the ratio of net profit to net sales between new and old korean private venture capital firms. Even though it is known that korean private venture capital firms does not have enough knowledge and investment technique to compete with global venture capital firms, our result show that old korean private venture capital firms have already built some knowledge and understanding of venture capital investing.

As business paradigm shifts toward the convergence of technology and industry, so-called the fourth industrial revolution, research and development on enterprises is becoming the core capability of growth momentum for the future. Accordingly, Management of Technology (MOT) is being paid attention to construct systematical planning and operations on technological strategy, thereby increasing the importance of cooperative relationship in MOT-relevant domains. Due to this reason, academia manages the family membership system that enables mutual collaborations between academia and industry to achieve their win-win strategy and makes customized cooperative systems to share their human and property resources systematically. Particularly, it is vital to operate the family membership system effectively and efficiently in the MOT domain because family enterprises need to endeavor the establishment of value-toward technology strategy within the framework of those cooperative systems. For such the purpose, this paper presents the analysis of the state-of-the art of the family membership system managed by Graduate School of Management of Technology at Pukyong National University. This paper also proposes vitalization strategies of this membership system so that famliy enterprises located in the east-southern area in Republic of Korea can gain MOT-oriented innovative capability.

인터넷 프로토콜 텔레비전(IPTV) 시스템에서 특정 프로그램을 허가된 가입자에게만 전달하기 위해 그룹 키 관리 방법을 이용 할 수 있다. 그러나 기존의 그룹 키 관리 방법은 가입자의 수가 많아지거나 가입자가 서비스에 자주 가입하고 탈퇴할 수록 서버의 부하가 커진다는 문제점이 있다. 이를 해결하기 위한 많은 연구들이 진행되어 왔지만 해당 연구들은 IPTV 시스템의 특성을 고려치 못했다는 단점이 있다. 우리는 IPTV 시스템의 특성을 고려한 새로운 그룹 키 갱신 방법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 현재 IPTV 채널 상에서 전송되는 프로그램의 가치를 고려해서 그룹 키 갱신 주기를 조절하는 방법이다. 이를 통해서 서버의 부하를 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 프로그램의 가치에 따라서 차등적인 보안 수준을 제공할 수 있다.
