  • Activity Pattern Analysis(APA) is the methodology to Design the functions of information systems, to Estimate the monetary value of IS based on Activity Based Costing, to Acquire feasibility of IT Project. This study shows APA case in Health Check-up Service Organization (G-Center) and the Utility of APA. G-Center had acquired Five Outcomes through APA: (1) IT Strategy, (2) IT Project Goals, (3) Transformed Business Process, (4) Functional Blueprint of Information Systems, (5) IT Project budget and its feasibility. APA consists of three analysis processes; Activity Separation, Activity Rearrangement, Activity Costing. APA is flexible in determinating the range and the time of analysis, and is able to expand the Actors(as analysis objects) based on the purpose of analysis by researcher. Eventually APA can be used to do internal IT Management effectively.

Development of an Analytical Framework for Dialogic Argumentation in the Context of Socioscientific Issues: Based on Discourse Clusters and Schemes (과학관련 사회쟁점(SSI) 맥락에서의 소집단 논증활동 분석틀 개발: 담화클러스터와 담화요소의 분석)

  • Argumentation is a social and collaborative dialogic process. A large number of researchers have focused on analyzing the structure of students' argumentation occurring in the scientific inquiry context, using the Toulmin's model of argument. Since SSI dialogic argumentation often presents distinctive features (e.g. interdisciplinary, controversial, value-laden, etc.), Toulmin's model would not fit into the context. Therefore, we attempted to develop an analytical framework for SSI dialogic argumentation by addressing the concepts of 'discourse clusters' and 'discourse schemes.' Discourse clusters indicated a series of utterances created for a similar dialogical purpose in the SSI contexts. Discourse schemes denoted meaningful discourse units that well represented the features of SSI reasoning. In this study, we presented six types of discourse clusters and 19 discourse schemes. We applied the framework to the data of students' group discourse on SSIs (e.g. euthanasia, nuclear energy, etc.) in order to verify its validity and applicability. The results indicate that the framework well explained the overall flow, dynamics, and features of students' discourse on SSI.

Development of Nursing Activity Cost Calculation Program Using Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing (TD-ABC) (병동 간호활동 원가계산 프로그램 개발 :시간동인 활동기준원가계산 기반으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a nursing activity cost calculation program based on Lee's doctoral dissertation using TD-ABC. The developed program has been supplemented with data storage, print out, and graph conversion functions to expand the application possibility. The development of the program consisted of three steps: program requirements analysis, program design and development, and program validation. This program was designed not only to do the cost calculation, but also to compare the cost-effectiveness and cost consumption trends. Consequently, this program is meaningful in that the nursing manager can obtain the cost information necessary for nursing unit management and extend the utilization so that the cost management strategy can be established based on the cost information. Therefore, we propose that the cost-management capacity of clinical nurses should be strengthened and the nursing performance measurement research should be expanded by applying it to various actual clinical nursing management settings. It is suggested that this program should be used as a training medium to strengthen nurse cost management capacity by combining nursing management curriculum at undergraduate level.

Korean University Students' Attitude toward a Task Recording Activity : Based on the TOEIC Speaking Test (한국대학생의 과업녹음활동에 대한 태도연구 : 토익스피킹 시험을 기반으로)

  • The purposes of the study are to introduce and apply an activity that can help improve student-initiated learning on the TOEIC Speaking Test (TOEICST) performance and to see students' attitude toward the activity. Twenty-eight university students in Chungcheong province engaged in learning based on this activity. In the present study, the activity proposed by McCormick and Vercellotti (2013) and Stillwell, Curabba, Alexander, Kidd, Kim, Stone, & Wyle (2010) was modified and adapted[14][19]. The outline of the Task Recording Activity (TRA) consisted of three steps: preparation step, Task Recording Activity step, and evaluation step. As data collection of the study, a survey and students' journal were utilized and qualitatively analyzed. The results showed that student-initiated learning activity could be applied positively not only in communicative lessons, but in TOEICST specific lessons as well. Additionally, participants showed positive attitudes toward self-transcription and self-correction. Some implications of the study are that the TRA can be applied to generate autonomous learners studying for the TOEIC Speaking Test, that the guideline for different proficiency can be developed to help them improve their self-reflection, and that students need to have an active attitude to lead their own learning.

서비스 기업의 연구개발 활동에 관한 연구

  • 선진국의 경제구조가 서비스경제로 전환됨에 따라 고부가가치를 낼 수 있는 지식기반 (Knowledge-based) 또는 기술기반 (Technology-based) 서비스의 중요성이 부각되고 있으며 서비스 기업들간의 경쟁도 매우 치열해지고 있다. 서비스 기업들은 보다 차별화 된 고객가치를 창출하고 미래의 핵심역량을 확보하기 위해 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있으나 제조기업과는 달리 대부분의 서비스 기업들에게 연구개발 (Research and Development, R&D)이라는 개념은 매우 생소한 상태이다. 최근 유럽을 중심으로 서비스기업의 연구개발에 관한 논의가 활발히 진행되고 있지만 서비스기업의 특성을 포괄하는 연구개발에 대한 정의를 내리는 수준에 머물고 있다. 최근 우리나라 정부에서도 서비스 연구개발에 관한 정책입안을 위해 연구를 진행하고 있는바, 서비스기업에서의 연구개발에 대한 정의, 조직, 예산, 활동영역, 산출물 및 이에 따른 정책적 지원 등에 관한 학계에서의 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 서비스기업의 연구개발활동을 도출하고 연구개발투자와 기업성과와의 관계를 분석함으로써 효과적인 연구개발 투자규모를 도출하는 것이 목표이다. 이 때 서비스기업의 연구개발활동이라 함은 연구개발 대상, 수행조직, 연구개발의 중요성이 포함된다. 또한 연구개발투자와 1-2년 후의 매출 및 순이익의 변화를 분석한다. 실증분석을 위해 기술기반 서비스를 대표하는 국내 IT서비스 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 다양한 통계분석을 활용하였다. 연구결과 대부분의 서비스 기업 응답자가 연구개발의 중요성을 크게 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 기업마다 부서별 또는 중앙 연구개발센터를 중심으로 다양한 연구개발활동을 수행하고 있으며 연구개발투자가 기업성과로 연계되기 위해서는 최고경영자의 관심이 가장 중요한 요인인 것으로 지적되었다. 가장 효과적인 연구개발 투자규모는 매출액 대비 15-19%인 것으로 분석되었는데 이는 벤처기업의 특성을 갖는 중소 IT서비스 기업들의 참여가 많았기 때문일 것으로 해석된다. 본 연구의 결과는 우리나라 서비스기업들이 미래준비를 위한 활동을 전개함에 있어 고려해야 할 주요 요인들을 제시해 줄 것이다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an e-PBL prototype using IMS Learning Design(IMS LD). The e-PBL prototype using IMS LD included 1) developing learning contents and learning activities together, 2) designing learning contents and learning activities which are appropriated to learning outcome and students' roles, and 3) designing the expected notification supporting learners' activity and lessening the engagement of instructors in a process of e-PBL. The implications of this prototype are to expand the boundary of e-learning design for contents-oriented design to activity-oriented design and to suggest the possibility of adaptive and collaborative e-learning.

  • This study analyzes how the environmental-friendly logistics activities impact on both environmental performance which is the result of sustainable development and business performance which is one of basic achievement of commercial company. It has been researched especially focusing on manufacturing-based company. According to the results of multiple regression analysis, it has been proven that environment-friendly storage and cargo handling, management and policy factors significantly affect environmental performance. And environment-friendly production, management, policy factors significantly affect the company's business performance.

Exploring the Effects and Implications of Earth Science Unplugged Activities Based on Computational Thinking: Focusing on the Problem Solving of Solid Earth Domain (컴퓨팅 사고력 기반 지구과학 언플러그드 활동의 효과와 시사점 탐색: 고체지구 영역의 문제해결을 중심으로)

  • In this study, teaching-learning activities were developed based on computational thinking (CT) in high school Earth Science I Solid Earth domain. And their effects and implications were examined. To this end, 8 sessions unplugged activities based on problem solving were developed, and applied it to 65 high school students. As a results, significant changes have been were confirmed in both student's perception about CT and CT. After that, based on student's responses to self-reports and interview, the affecting factors for perception about CT and CT in the earth science problem solving process were investigated. In addition, implication that should be considered in terms of design and progress of teaching-learning based on CT were derived. Based on these results, the necessity and operation of teaching-learning activities was suggested for developing CT through various subjects including earth science.

An Empirical Examination of the Relationship between Service Level and Service Innovation based on Service Science (서비스사이언스를 기반으로한 서비스 수준과 서비스 혁신간의 관계에 대한 실증 연구)

  • Our basic objective in this paper is to identify a relationship among services, technology level, and service innovation activities using service science approach. The empirical tests are two-fold: first, to find out a difference in the level of service innovations, depending on the service levels and vice versa; second, to investigate the relationship between technology level and service activities and between technology level and service innovation activities. The results of the study are as followed: (1) Service innovation activities are different depending on service activities. (2) Service activities are different depending on service innovation activities. (3) Differences between technology level and service activities and between technology level and service innovation activities do not exist. These findings have implications for both research and practice.
