Propagation constants for TMon and TEon modes in a circular waveguide with a ring type dielectri are computed using the numerical analysis when the width of dielectric is varied regularly. This structure can be applied to the supporter to make improve the Q-factor of dielectric resonators, and the results of numerical calculation can be used to design the slow wave structures. Also, the numerical analysis in this paper can be used to determine the resonant frequencies in dielectric resonators.

Effects of gap sizes(3.9 and 15mm) of vertical annuli and the bottom blockage on the nucleate pool boiling heat transfer at atmospheric pressure condition have been examined experimentally, and the results were compared to those with a single tube without confinement. The annular geometry resulted in significant increase in heat transfer coefficient. The effect is much enhanced with the bottom blockage. The heat transfer coefficient for the closed bottom condition is three times greater than the unconfined tube at 30kW/㎡ when the gap size is 3.9mm. However, with further increase of the heat flux much more than 70kW/㎡, all these effects were diminished.

지금까지 우리는 환상 단량체들을 이용한 macroinitiators 및 이들을 이용한 block 고중합체들의 합성방법론에 대해 고찰해 보았다. 이 방법들 중 living polymerization은 block 공중합체의 합성 뿐 만아니라 macroinitiator와 같은 기능성화된 고분자 합성을 위한 최적의 방법이다. 여기서 우리가 지적하고 싶은 것은 macroinitiator라는 과학적인 의미의 혼돈이다. 특히 macroinitiator와 macromolecular initiator는 같은 scientific terms들로서 혼돈이 있어서는 안되며 macroazoinitiator 역시 azo group을 가진 macromolecular initiator의 한 종류이다. 또한 macroinitiator와 macromonomer를 혼돈해서는 안되며 macroinitiator는 block 그리고 macromonomer는 graft 공중합체 및 Network 고분자 제조에 각각 이용되는 기능성화된 고분자(functionalized polymer) 혹은 oligomer를 의미한다.

To improve pool boiling heat transfer in an vertical annulus with closed bottoms, the length of an outer tube has been changed from 0.2m to 0.6m. For the test, a heated tube of 19.1mm diameter and water at atmospheric pressure have been used. Annular conditions are made using glass tubes fabricated around the heated tube. The gap size of the annulus is 3.65mm. To elucidate effects of the outer tube length on heat transfer results of the annulus are compared with the data of a single unrestricted tube and the annulus with wider gap size of 6.35mm. Throughout the tests much higher heat transfer coefficients are observed for the annulus of 3.65mm gap size comparing to the other two cases. The change in the outer tube length results in much variation in heat transfer coefficients. Moreover, with shortening the length of outer tube the possibility of the CHF occurrence can be removed.

Participants in this study of the effect of story making activity on the language expression and creativity of young children were all forty 5-year-old children in a child-care facility. The experimental group read the fantasy picture book and engaged in story making activity; the control group read the same fantasy picture books the experimental group but didn't have any story making activity. Experimental treatments were given twice a week for 6 weeks. Data were analyzed by MANCOVA using scores of the pre-test as covariance. Differences were found between experimental and control groups in language expression and creativity showing that story making activity using the fantasy picture book was more effective than just reading without story making activity.

To discriminate features of H. assulta and H. armigera, this study was done in 1983. There is 7 spots on the forewing of H. armigera but not on that of H assulta. Ratios of length and width of valves were 5.6 on H. assulta and 4.3 on H. armigera. Numbers of setae on hindtibia of H. assulta and H. armigera were 8.5, 11.4, respectively.

SMS에 대한 기술은 21세기를 향한 새로운 차원의 신생하는 그리고 강한 창조성(originality)을 띤 최첨단 기술의 하나로 부각되고 있으며 특히 SMS의 무한한 응용성으로 미루어 볼 때 연구 개발의 급격한 증대가 기대된다. 이에 이 분야 기술이 미약 혹은 전무한 우리나라에서도 하루 빨리 연구개발에 착수하여 SMS 관련 신소재 개발은 몰론 자동차, 항공, 국방, 건설, 의료 및 각종 제조 산업분야에서의 응용장치 개발을 통한 고부가가치 창출과 국제 경쟁력 강화 그리고 전략적 효과 상승 및 국제적 지위권 확보를 꾀해야 할 것으로 사료된다. SMS 기술분야의 광 범위성 관계로 치밀한 정부주도 계획 하에 체계적이고 합리적인 연구개발이 산. 학. 연의 적극적 인 협조체계를 통해 이루어져야 한다고 판단된다. 보다 나은 인류의 삶을 위해 그리고 환상적인 미래의 세계가 환상자체에 그치지 않도록 새로운 차원의 신생하는 첨단기술 개발에 부단한 노 력이 요구된다고 하겠다.

운전하고 있으나 방사상계통 운전에 대한 정보공유가 미비하여 특정 계통조작시 정전으로 이어질 우려가 상존하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 방사상 계통과 환상계통을 자동 판단하여 계통조작시 정전사고로 이어질 수 있는 경우 사전 경고를 발생하여 정전조작을 미연에 방지할 수 있도록 하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 개발된 알고리즘은 SCADA와 미리 구축된 Rule Base를 이용하여 인근지역의 정보를 공유하고, 간단한 집합론을 이용한 수학적 연산작업을 통해 방사상계통인지 환상계통인지를 판단한다. SCADA 시뮬레이터를 통한 다양한 시험을 통해 개발된 알고리즘의 신뢰성을 검증하였으며 이를 구현한 방사상계통 자동판별시스템을 개발하여 실계통에 적용하였다.

제3차 전력수급기본계획(산업자원부, '06.12 공고)에 의하면 전국 총수요의 43% 정도가 수도권에 집중될 것으로 전망되고, 또한 지역간 수급불균형 현상 심화 및 계통 고장전류 증대 등에 따른 수도권의 전력공급 신뢰도 확보가 우려됨에 따라 안정적 전력계통 구축을 위한 중장기적 대책 마련이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 발전설비의 인천 서해안지역 집중 현상 및 한강 이북지역에 대한 전력공급 능력 등을 상세 검토 분석하였으며, 지역간의 원활한 전력융통을 위하여 발전설비가 집중된 인천지역에서 수도권 내륙으로의 신규 초고압 송전선로의 건설 필요성 및 고장전류 감소를 위한 수도권 환상망의 2원화 구성 등의 내용을 개략적으로 설명하였다.

Accurate measurements of the heat transfer coefficients of concentric annular space for the test section is important to measure the tube-side heat transfer coefficients of working fluids. This paper presents the annular side heat transfer coefficients of concentric annuli with variation of tube diameter ratios using Wilson plot method. The test facility has a straight, horizontal test section with an active length of 3.0 m. Inner/outer diameters of test tubes are 7.0/7.5 and 8.0/8.56 mm, respectively. An outer diameter of annulus side is 16.0 mm. The test results show that convective heat transfer coefficients in annuli increase with annular diameter ratio. The correlations for convective heat transfer coefficients in annuli are also developed.
