While growing interest about university education and quality enhancement, learner's scholastic achievement, learning process, various of learning activity work variable performance of university education. In this context, for quality enhancement of engineering education, it is necessary to pay attention not only learning achievement, educational conditions and environment, but also how students learn. The purpose of this study is checking learning activity in class of Engineering college students and proposing teaching and learning support for promoting learning activity in class. The result of this study is engineering college students were participate in highly only activity is called to professor, but self-directed learning engagements was less than. Activity of promoted thinking about task execution implemented frequently, but activity of critical thinking and applied everyday life were less than. In class students cooperated with colleague learner actively, they had sincere attitude about class. Based on these results, in order to promote learning activity in class, it is necessary sufficient teaching-learning support for learner's self-directed learning and enhancing thinking skills.

In securities companies where corporate management performance is heavily dependent on the ability of salespeople, excellent sales-force with the ability to create high performance is very important. However, in the meantime, there was lack of studies on Private Banker's characteristics and sales behavior or sales performance. This study analyzed the effect of PB's characteristics on sales behavior in the Korean Securities Industry. The survey was conducted in March, 2013. 523 responses were used in the data analysis. As a result, PB's 4 characteristics- attitude to work, performance orientation, learning orientation, customer orientation- showed a positive impact on the sales behavior, and the organizational support showed positive moderating effect on this model. In this study, we reported that securities companies must reinforce training and self-development programs in order to improve the characteristics of the PB and to upgrade management performance. In particular, the securities has to rebuild organizational support system to improve the individual characteristics of the PB.

The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of drivers' satisfaction over protected and permissive left-turn (PPLT) traffic signal operation. A structural equation model was established for analyzing the effectiveness of various drivers' factors (e.g., personal characteristics, driving attitude, expectation to PPLT, etc.) on the PPLT preference based on questionnaire survey. As a result, the analysis is satisfied with the critical values, such as Q value, RMR, GIF, AGIF, and NFI. The study reveals that PPLT preference increases in case of driver who is male with long social carrier related to transportation affaire and long driving experience without traffic accident involvement. Moreover, PPLT preference increases as the expectation of PPLT to improvement of traffic safety, traffic operation, and traffic environment increases. Therefore, it is recommended that the PPLT should be preferentially operated in urban area of less traffic accidents and the promotion of PPLT be actively conducted for positive effectiveness.

This study investigated the effects of individual characteristics, school factors, and community factors on adolescent school violence behaviors. Data from a total of 1,777 middle school students from 50 schools in the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions were used for analysis. A hierarchical generalized linear modeling was employed to conduct a two-level analysis. Results showed that adolescents' individual factors, including attitudes toward violence, parental attachment, child abuse experiences, and affiliation with delinquent peers, as well as school factors including teacher's abusive classroom discipline, affected adolescent school violence behaviors. In addition, neighborhood disorder was found to be significantly positively correlated with adolescents' school violence. The results of this study suggest that for an understanding of school violence and to prepare countermeasures accordingly, integrated consideration of various environmental contexts in adolescents' daily lives, such as family, school, and community environments, is necessary. A multidimensional, integrated intervention plan to effectively resolve school violence based on these research results is discussed.

Despite the amount of government budget and resources used for female immigrants who married Korean spouses, it has not been evaluated yet whether the services designed for the immigrants are actually delivered to potential users with social needs. This study is an attempt to identify moderating factors associated with perceived needs and utilizing services of the Multicultural Family Support Centers. The National Survey on Multicultural Families 2015 is used for the analysis. Findings are as follows: the immigrant with better Korean communication skills would use the center services more when they have needs; the immigrants who lack skills were more likely to use center services in spite of the needs. Secondly, the more female spouses satisfied with their marriages, they were less likely to use the services; however, the moderating effect was not significant, On the other hand, Korean male spouses' patriarchal attitude was statistically significant. According to the results, practical and political implications were suggested.

The purpose of this study is to analyze domestic patient safety culture research topics using text mining and CONCOR analysis. The research method was conducted in the stages of data collection, data preprocessing, text mining and social network analysis, and CONCOR analysis. A total of 136 articles were analyzed excluding papers that were not published. Data analysis was performed using Textom and UCINET programs. As a result of this study, TF (frequency) of patient safety culture-related studies showed that patient safety was the highest, and TF-IDF (importance in documents) was highest in nursing. As a result of the CONCOR analysis, a total of seven clusters were derived: knowledge and attitude, communication, medical service, team, work environment, structure, organization and management that constitute the patient safety culture. In the future, it is necessary to conduct research on the relationship between the establishment of a patient safety culture and patient outcomes.

Virtual Reality (VR) has high potential to provide learners with rich learning experience based on a sense of presence and various interactions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of career education programs for the future society using VR. To this end, 29 third grade students were given an eight-session education program, and changes in their perception of career and their overall opinion on the program were examined. The results are as follows: First, the VR-based career experience program for the future society had a positive effect on changes in the students' self-understanding and their attitude and perception of career. Second, the study subjects showed high interest in and satisfaction with the VR-based career education program. The results of this study suggested the need for the extensive use of VR in career education, the development of content considering achievement criteria and learners' characteristics, and the establishment of VR learning environments.

As the 2015 revised curriculum is being implemented from 2018, efforts are being made to cultivate scientific literacy among students in the field of science. Scientific experiments help students to develop their interest in Science and their scientific attitudes. Learning through experimentation rather than learning scientific facts increases learners' understanding, and can be remembered longer. Therefore, experiments in Science subject are very important. However, in middle schools, scientific experiments are not performed due to the lack of time, budget and experimental material. In this research, we analyze middle school science textbooks, conduct questionnaires for students of science pre-service teachers, select the most important science experiments, and develop a mobile App to simulate and experience scientific experiments with the App. The proposed App is developed in a game format using quest-based learning methods to gain learning enhancement. It is also made using Unity. In this paper, after developing the app, we propose the direction of STEAM contents development through analyzing the difference from existing apps and the feedback from users.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the productivity of elderly employees over 60 years old and to analyze factors that directly or indirectly affect the productivity of elderly employees, based on empirical facts of HR managers. As a result, the factors that have a positive effect on the productivity of elderly employees were attitude and professionalism. The decline in physical capacity due to aging was recognized as a key factor that negatively affected the productivity evaluation of elderly employees. Among the management strategies to improve the work performance, it has been shown that work placement or job redesign according to physical competency contributes to improving the productivity of elderly employees. Also, providing safety education and communication opportunities among workers has a positive effect on productivity improvement. The results of this study suggest that it is important to improve worker productivity by arranging older workers' work experience to be able to demonstrate their accumulated career and expertise and to create a working environment that takes into account physical competence.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the quality of service that affects satisfaction of special library users and to suggest ways to improve the function and role of special library. The data were collected by survey and interview method conducted with 111 library users in 6 local research institute using modified questionnaires based on LibQUAL+. The results revealed that human quality factor had more influence on library service satisfaction than space and information quality factor. Also, there were statistically significant influence between library service satisfaction and three sub service factors, such as service attitude, space convenience, and information usability. The interviewers indicated problems of special library service in lack of data, inactivation of digital data, space problem, data sharing problem, and lack of experts. Finally this study proposed several suggestions to improve service quality of special library of local autonomous entity research institution.
