This paper test the relationship among determinants of environmental investments, level of environmental investments, eco-efficiency (carbon productivity). The results show that profitability, leverage and R&D costs have a negative impact on environmental investments, and controlling ownership have a positive impact on environmental investments as well as environmental protection costs. The analysis also show that firms increasing environmental investments are able to gain superior environmental performance ($CO_2$ emission), but are negatively relationship with financial performance. Finally, the findings prove that differences exist in the relationship between determinants and effect of environmental investments when grouped by industry characteristics.

This paper introduces segmentation based environment modeling method and integration method using multiple environment map for constructing the realtime image-based panoramic navigation system. The segmentation-based environment modeling method is easy to implement on the environment map and can be used for environment modeling by extracting the depth value by the segmentation of the environment map. However, an environment model that is constructed using a single environment map has the problem of a blurring effect caused by the fixed resolution, and the stretching effect of the 3D model caused when information that does not exist on the environment map occurs due to the occlusion. In this paper, we suggest environment models integration method using multiple environment map to resolve the above problem. This method can express parallax effect and expand the environment model to express wide range of environment. The segmentation-based environment modeling method using multiple environment map can build a detail model with optimal resolution.

When evaluating the extent of the impact of water pollutants on the surrounding area, we would like to present the target level (proposal) of the quality of the environment, which is the standard for evaluation. We propose the environmental quality target level for substances that need to be applied domestically by investigating overseas cases operating the integrated environmental management system and the implications of domestic environmental pollutant management. The appropriateness of the environmental quality target level reviewed in this study was determined using data from the water quality measuring network, and future improvement measures were proposed. We review the available methodologies for setting quality objectives for the environment. It proposed the environmental quality target level for 21 substances that have domestic water pollutant emission standards and do not have environmental standards, and proposed future improvement measures. If it is necessary to add quality target-level items of the environment in the future, it is believed that expansion will be possible based on the methodology presented in this study.
