축산물품질평가원에는 2016년 2월 현재 300여명의 직원들이 건강한 축산물의 생산 유통 소비 환경을 구축하기 위해 전국 각지 축산 현장을 누비고 있습니다. 현장에 계시는 생산농가나 유통관계자 등 축산 유통인이라면 축평원의 직원들과 함께 호흡을 나눈 경험이 있으실 테고 그만큼 익숙하시겠지요. 하지만 일반 소비자분들이시라면 등급정보지를 통해 살짝 엿봤다고는 하지만 생소한 점이 더 많으실 것 같습니다. 특히 축평원이라는 그림을 이루는 300여명의 다양한 구성원 조각들은 일반 소비자 뿐 아니라 축산 유통인들에게도 아직 미지의 세계가 아닐까 싶습니다. 그래서 준비했습니다. 2015년 '지원탐방'에 이은 기획 연재 2탄!! This study attempts to find the relationship between achievement of environmental industry and development of financial sector by analyzing cross-sectional data for OECD countries. Development of financial industry has a positive effect on environmental industry. Green financing also affects improvement of environmental quality. Demand for environmental quality is positively influenced by GDP per capita, while financial crisis has a bad effect on environmental performance. Government-led green financing in Korea has a major role in the Korean environmental policy for years. While market-oriented green financing improves the efficiency of regulation, government-led green financing may delay internalization of environmental cost due to its subsidizing effect. Further study should include systematic analysis on the scope of green financing and its qualitative attribute and fundamental causality between green financing and environmental improvement.

우리나라 대기질은 자동차의 급격한 증가와 산업활동이 활달해짐에 따라 VOC, NOx 의 배출량이 급격히 늘어나고 있으며 이에따라 광화학 오존등 2차오염물질에 대한 대기오염문제가 심각해지고 있다. 오존에 의한 대기오염문제를 해결하기 위하여 환경부에서는 2002년부터 서울의 정동, 불광동 둥 수도권 8개 지점에서 광화학평가측정망을 운영하고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 이들 광화학평가측정망의 정도관리현황을 검토하고 측정지점별 오존전구물질(VOCs) 농도분포 특성을 분석하였다. (중략)

경제성장과 더불어 환경에 대한 일반인들의 관심이 증가되어 기존의 환경기준 대상 오염물질 위주의 대기질 평가 외에 소음이나 악취 등의 감각공해에 대한 체계적인 연구가 필요하게 되었다. 악취에 의한 오염은 인간이 오감을 통해서 느끼는 정신적 피해의 하나로 청각을 통한 소음문제, 미각을 통한 음용수문제, 시각을 통한 경관의 문제 등과 같은 감각공해 중 대표적인 오염현상으로 생활환경의 쾌적성과 밀접한 관계를 갖고 있다. (중략)

This study was conducted to assess the impact of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) on health related quality of life (QoL) in the firefighter under the recent IT environment. The data were collected by face to face interview using a structured questionnaire in the 366 respondents. WMSDs symptoms were measured by a self-assessed questionnaire on symptom table of NIOSH and health-related QoL was measured by SF-36. The prevalence of WMSDs was 38.0% in upper limbs, 35.5% in the low back, 21.6% in lower limbs, and 59.3% in two or more parts of the body. Subjects with symptoms of WMSDs had significantly lower scores in 7 dimensions of QoL except 'emotional role limitation' than those without symptoms of WMSDs at the area of upper extremities (neck, shoulder, arm/wrist, and hand/wrist/fingers). On the other hand, subjects with symptoms of WMSDs had significantly lower scores on all QoL dimensions than those without symptoms of WMSDs at the area of lower back or lower extremities. These results suggest that WMSDs had a negative effect on QoL. Therefore, prevention of WMSDs should be considered intervention strategies for improvement of QoL, especially in firefighters.

Purpose: The patient's perspective in the assessment of quality of care has become increasingly important. The purpose of this paper was to introduce the concept of 'QUality Of care Through patient's Eyes (QUOTE)', to analyze the papers using QUOTE through an integrative review method, and to present the attributes of the QUOTE evaluation. Methods: Data were collected from electronic databases. Inclusion criteria were publication in English from 1997 to 2013, as a peer-reviewed research article, with an empirical study focused on QUOTE. Thirty two papers met the criteria and were analyzed. Results: QUOTE had been applied to various groups of patients such as those with various diseases since 1997 in the Netherlands. Four themes were retrieved from synthetic analysis of the thirty-two papers using QUOTE; 1) acceptance of individuation of the patient and family, 2) evaluation of diverse nurses' competencies, 3) evaluation of quality of nursing environments, and 4) participation of patient in the whole process of evaluation. Conclusion: The strengths of QUOTE are that it attempts to overcome the conceptual and methodological problems associated with evaluation of quality of care. Our results imply that QUOTE evaluation could be an effective strategy to improve care of patients in clinical setting.

In this paper, a power-aware query processing using optimized distributed R-tree in a sensor network is proposed. The proposed technique is a new approach for processing range queries that uses spatial indexing. Range queries are most often encountered under sensor networks for computing aggregation values. The previous work just addressed the importance but didn't provide any efficient technique for processing range queries. A query processing scheme is thus designed for efficiently processing them. Each node in the sensor network has the MBR of the region where its children nodes and the node itself are located. The range query is evaluated over the region which intersects the geographic location of sensors. It ensures the maximum power savings by avoiding the communication of nodes not participating over the evaluation of the query.

To evaluate the natural environmental conditions of the local areas, the method using the individual plant was discussed here. Based on Ohba's(1979) and Okuda and Nakamura's systems(1989), 9 items were proposed. The items evaluated were classified in 4 criterias: quality, quantity, function and vitality. This evaluation method could be used to promote spatial planning and to alleviate other administrative problems. Also it could be applied to decide the conservation level of plant individual.

As we are getting to deal with more applications that generate streaming data such as sensor network, monitoring, and SDI (selective dissemination of information), active research is being conducted to support efficient processing of queries over streaming data. The applications on the Web environment like SDI, among others, require query processing over streaming XML data, and its investigation is very important because XML has been established as the standard for data exchange on the Web. One of the major problems with the previous systems that support query processing over streaming XML data is that they cannot deal adaptively with dynamically changing stream because they rely on static query plans. On the other hand, the stream query processing systems based on relational data model have achieved adaptiveness in query processing due to query operator routing. In this paper, we propose a system of adaptive query processing over streaming XML data in which the model of adaptive query processing over streaming relational data is applied. We compare our system with YFiiter, one of the representative systems that provide XML stream query processing capability, to show efficiency of our system.
