A Study on the Customized Security Policy for Effective Information Protection System (실효적인 정보보호관리 통제를 위한 맞춤형 보안정책 연구)

  • Today, the world is evolving into a huge community that can communicate with real-time information sharing and communication based on the rapid advancement of scientific technology and information. Behind this information, the adverse effects of information assets, such as hacking, viruses, information assets, and unauthorized disclosure of information assets, are continually increasing as a serious social problem. Each time an infringement of the invasion and personal information leaks occur, many regulatory policies have been announced, including stricter regulations for protecting the privacy of the government and establishing comprehensive countermeasures. Also, companies are making various efforts to increase awareness of the importance of information security. Nevertheless, information security accidents like the leaks of industrial secrets are continuously occurring and the frequency is not lessening. In this thesis, I proposed a customized security policy methodology that supports users with various business circumstances and service and also enables them to respond to the security threats more confidently and effectively through not a monotonous and technical but user-centered security policy.

Separate Networks and an Authentication Framework in AMI for Secure Smart Grid (스마트그리드 보호를 위한 AMI 망 분리 및 인증 프레임워크)

  • This paper proposes methods of securing Smart Grid system against various types of cyber threats by separating AMI networks from the public network, the Internet, and providing an AMI specific authentication framework. Due to the fact that thousands and millions of AMI devices to be deployed would be directly or indirectly connected to the public network without any authentication procedures for access control, currently being developed AMI architectures could be widely exposed to considerable number of penetrating attacks. Furthermore, there have not been a sufficient number of researches on authentication frameworks with basis on the specific circumstances of AMI networking that should support varied authentication protocols among security associations and AMI linking devices. This work makes a proposal of isolating smart meters from HAN devices and the Internet and integrating network/application level authentication frameworks with an EAP-based authentication architecture. These approaches are beneficial to deploy AMI with security and efficiency.

Basic Principles for Establishing Legal Regime of Environmental Health in Korea (환경보건 관련 법제도 수립의 기본원칙에 관한 고찰)

  • It has been widely accepted that the environment is an important determining factor of human health. Appreciating the relationship between the environment and human health, Korean government has begun to deal with issues of environmental health. The government proclaimed the year of 2006 to be the first year of Environmental Health and established "The Environmental Health Plan for the next 10 Year". In order to achieve the goals in the plan, there are necessary considerations such as support systems for environment health related research, investigation, law, institution, administration, and so forth. This study suggests basic principles required to establish a legal regime of environmental health which is to implement the environmental health policies in Korea. Several cases of foreign legislation and policy relevant to environmental health are reviewed. Also, existing related legal system in Korea are analysed considering legal and institutional elements for establishing an effective environmental health policy. The main purpose of amending legal system related environmental health is to protect both public health and the soundness of ecosystem. To reach the goals effectively, the concept of 'environmental health' should be clearly established and presented. In addition, an advanced prevention system, including investigation and prevention of the cause of environmental diseases and risk assessment based on the precautionary principle, are substantial in the environmental health legislation. Also the environmental health law should guarantee public participation in decision making as well as the first consideration of susceptible or vulnerable population. This study concludes that the expected legislation related to environmental health should be a nonnative instrument not only for integrating each environmental protection scheme but also for establishing and implementing the policy.

Analysis and Management of Potential Development Area Using Factor of Change from Forest to Build-up (산림의 시가지 변화요인을 통한 잠재개발지 분석 및 관리방안)

  • For the sustainable development and conservation of the national land, planned development and efficient environmental conservation must be accompanied. To this end, it is possible to induce development and conservation to harmonize by deriving factors affecting development through analysis of previously developed areas and applying appropriate management measures to areas with high development pressure. In this study, the relationship between the area where the land cover changed from forest to urbanization and various social, geographical, and restrictive factors was implemented in a regression formula through logistic regression analysis, and potential development sites were analyzed for Yongin City. The factor that has the greatest impact on the analysis of potential development area is the restrict factors such as Green Belt and protected areas, and the factor with the least impact is the population density. About 148km2(52%) of Yongin-si's forests were analyzed as potential development area. Among the potential development sites, the area with excellent environmental value as a protected area and 1st grade on the Environment Conservation Value Assessment Map was derived as about 13km2. Protected areas with high development potential were riparian buffer zone and special measurement area, and areas with excellent natural scenery and river were preferred as development areas. Protected areas allow certain actions to protect individual property rights. However, there is no clear permit criteria, and the environmental impact of permits is not understood. This is identified as a factor that prevents protected areas from functioning properly. Therefore, it needs to be managed through clear exception permit criteria and environmental impact monitoring.

파워디바이스 칩의 기술동향과 전망

  • 파워디바이스는 산업$\cdot$전력$\cdot$교통$\cdot$정보 등 여러 분야에서 사용되고 그 기기들의 성능은 이 파워디바이스의 성능에 의해 크게 좌우된다. 특히 고도 정보화시대가 되는 21세기에는 전력수요가 점점 더 증가될 것이기 때문에 인버터화 등에 의한 생에너지 대책과 클린에너지 등에 의한 신에너지의 창출이 중요한 과제가 되고 있다. 한편, 지구환경 보호면에서 전기자동차 등의 환경고려형 장치의 보급이 활발해질 것이 예상된다. 이와 같은 사회환경 속에서 파워 일렉트로닉스를 지탱하는 소자로서 파워디바이스는 점점 더 그 역할의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 최근의 파워디바이스로서는 디스크리트, 모듈, IPM(Intelligent Power Module)등 여러 가지의 디바이스가 출현하고 있는데 그 성능을 결정하는 중심이 되는 것이 파워디바이스 칩이다. 파워디바이스 칩 자신도 급속히 진화하여 현재는 MOS계 파워디바이스 칩이 주류를 이루고 있다. 그 중에서도 사용하기 쉽다는 면에서 MOSFET와 IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor)가 주로 실용화되고 있으며, 미세가공기술과 라이프타임 제어기술의 진전에 따라 현저한 성능개선이 진행되고 있다. 한편, 공업용 대용량인버터나 전력응용에서 요구되는 고내압$\cdot$대용량 영역에서는 당분간 저손실이라는 의미에서 바이폴라계의 사이리스터형 디바이스가 주류로 사용되고, 이 영역에서는 GTO에 대체하는 소자로서 GCT(Gate Commutated Turn-off)사이리스터가 개발되어 그 응용이 확대될 것이 기대되고 있다. 또한 전압형 인버터장치에서는 IGBT와 GCT등의 스위칭디바이스와 함께 환류용 다이오드(FWD)가 필요하며 이 FWD의 특징 개선도 스위칭디바이스의 개선과 병행하여 추진되고 있다.

Exporting Promotion Strategy of Grafted Cacti (접목선인장 수출 증대 방안)

  • This study was conducted to establish a strategy to improve the grafted cacti export which has been stagnated in these year. To promote its exporting, first of all, Korean cactus producer needs to save the cost of labor by using bottom nutriculture system for the greater national competitiveness. Second, it is desired to diversify the export cactus items such as a new variety of Epiphyllum truncatum, big size of perfect brand, a finished package production to satisfy foreigner's demand coping with international market change of grafted cacti. On the other hand, Korean cultivar protection and national negotiation for a reducing tariff rate or an efficient plant inspection system are also needed.

Disaster Overall Prevention System for Beach Erosion and its Applications (해안침식 관리시스템과 그 적용)

  • A beach has such functions as disaster prevention, providing an amenity place, attracting people and maintaining the coastal ecosystem. Already well known that a beach provides an amenity place, it has also been ascertained through various examples that a sand beach performs a very important function to maintain the coastal ecosystem as well. However, Beach erosion began to occur in Korea in the 1990's and posed a social problem in the late 1990's. Nowadays, along the shorelines of Korea's many beaches, about 400 beaches have reported erosion. This study demonstrate the Disaster Overall Prevention System for Beach Erosion and it's application. The Disaster Overall Prevention System for Beach Erosion is a coastal management system established for managing the implementation of long-term countermeasures to protect eroded beaches effectively in this study. Especially, the economic feasibility test and adaptive management for sustainable mitigation included in DOPS. The coastal prevention work applied to Namae beach is carried out by Disaster Overall Prevention System. Consequently, beach nourishment is proposed as a main countermeasure. Also, submerged artificial reefs and groin integrating artificial rock are proposed as secondary countermeasures for beach erosion. This resulted to be the optimal beach erosion countermeasure from DOPS, considering the economic and environmental conditions of the study area.

  • 2011년 현재 유무선 인터넷을 이용해 VoIP, e-mail 통신을 하며, 금융거래인 은행거래, 주식거래, 안전결제 서비스를 이용하고 있다. 하지만 유무선 인터넷에서 침해사고가 발생하여 VoIP, e-mail이나 은행거래, 주식거래, 안전결제에 취약점 가능성이 있다. 2011년 3월 개인정보보호법 국회통과로 금융거래에서 개인정보를 보호해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 WiBro 인터넷 금융거래에서 VoIP, e-mail이나 은행거래, 주식거래, 안전결제를 할 때, SecuiScan을 이용하여 취약점을 분석한다. 취약점을 분석한 결과, 발견된 취약점을 이용하여 실험실 환경에서 해킹공격을 실시한다. 해킹결과 분석과 침해사고 유형에 따른 보안성 강화를 위한 보안 대책을 제시한다. 본 논문의 연구는 WiBro 인터넷 금융거래 보안성 강화에 기여할 것이다.

  • 2008년도 사고설비별 전기화재 발생현황을 살펴보면 전기화재중 전기배선 및 배선기구에서 발화한 화재가 2,540건으로 전기화재 발생 중 25.95 %를 점유하였다. 또한 사고전압별 전기화재 발생현황으로 220/380 V에서 화재가 6,320건(64.4 %)으로 전기화재의 대부분을 점유하였다. 전기화재는 단락, 과전류, 접촉불량, 트래킹 등 9가지로 분류할 수 있다. 이러한 전기로부터 재해를 막기 위하여 누전차단기나 배선용차단기를 사용하여 일부의 전기화재 원인을 차단할 수 있으나 차단기 자체에서 발생하는 원인에 대하여는 보호할 전기기기가 부재하다. 본 논문에서는 최근 실화법의 적용으로 일반적으로 전기화재로 취급되어지지만 보다 세밀히 조사하면 제조결함, 사용자 부주의, 설치 및 환경에 따른 위험성을 분석하고 전기설비에서의 화재 발생에 대한 예방대책에 활용할 수 있도록 연구하였다.

  • 최근 정부의 일련의 강력한 정책의 시행으로 계통에 분산형전원의 설치가 빠르게 증가하고 있다. 게다가 2015년 4월부터는 분산형전원의 저압계통 연계기준이 500kW 미만으로 크게 늘어 신재생에너지를 이용한 분산형전원의 계통 연계량의 증가는 더욱 늘어날 것으로 예상된다. 특히 저압계통에 연계되는 분산형전원의 연계용량이 늘어남에 따라 기존 연계 기준에서는 큰 영향을 미치지 않았던 고장들도 사고 발생 시 특고압으로 운영 중인 배전계통에 미치는 영향도 같이 늘어난다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존과는 달라진 환경에서 계통에서 발생할 수 있는 문제점을 분석하여 대책을 제시하도록 하겠다.
